1 Yoga & Healing 2015 Gaia-Oasis offers a Yoga & Healing session several days a week for our guests. The session differs depending on the practitioner in residence; and may include yoga, dance, bodywork, meditation or some other form of healing work. If you would like to join a Yoga & Healing session, please inform any of our friendly employees in advance, so that we can support your needs. As far as possible, our programs are designed for everybody, regardless of whether you are a beginner or an advanced practitioner of January 2015, Marc Steinmetz became a Yoga teacher in 2010 and I also work as a freelance photographer. I live in Hamburg in the north of Germany. I am practicing and teaching Kundalini Yoga which was introduced to the Western world by Yogi Bhajan back in the Sixties. I discovered it (or it discovered me...) half a decade ago after a fundamental crisis in my life and immediately realized that I had found something which goes way beyond physical exercise. I do love the physical aspects of Yoga, but Kundalini Yoga can do a lot more for you. Its combination of posture, motion, breathing, mantra and meditation makes it a powerful and many-faceted instrument for opening and healing your heart and connecting with your soul even if your mind tells you you don t have one or you don t need one. :-) What with our bustling lifestyle and the myriad distractions we numb ourselves with constantly, this once solid connection seems to have gone to the dogs and become a rare and fragile thing. Lets get it back! The good news is: You don t need to become a saint to achieve this, nor a hermit. And concerning the chanting of mantras... don t be afraid of that. Trust me: discovering that you CAN sing is a very liberating and rewarding experience 2 28 of February 2015, Leah Kline teaches a flow yoga class that focus on the Universal Principles of Alignment (Iyengar, Anusara styles combined with a bit of Ashtanga) of the body and the awareness of the heart and inner body. While she guides you through various yogic poses, breathing techniques, and correct alignments, she weaves a theme of yoga philosophy and mindfulness through each class, she teaches to the general level of the group, offering options for each student that suit their personal growth. Her hope is that you can take the lessons you learn in class off the mat into your daily experience.

Tanja has been practicing and studying kundalini and hatha yoga since She holds a master's degree in architecture and urban planning and several certifications in yoga. She has been working as a human resources manager and teaching yoga for 8 years now. In Belgium she studied natural and energetic healing therapies, ayurveda, massage, intuitive training, yoga, Sufism and reiki. She completed the 500 hours RYS yoga training in Himalayas/India. By traveling through parts of Asia he has deepened her knowledge in yoga, meditation, healing therapies and my sticism. Through practicing yoga, ayurveda and reiki I could heal a back problem and bring back peace, harmony and love in my life. I learned that everyday of our life on earth is precious. Yoga and meditation bring me in contact with my inner self, where there is peace and unity. This feeling of inner peace, love and bliss I like to share with you. She has trained and practiced many forms and teaches yoga to guide you home into your body and to re-- awaken you into awareness. Moving with the breath and your own internal rhythm to ground, connect and enable you full presence, So you can fully enjoy all the elements of life.her classes are suitable for beginners as she encourages you to self-- regulate and listen to your body and trust your body systems to guide you through a practice that moves you into a deep experience of joy and presence.when we come home into our body and connect with our true nature we restore balance and our mind settles and we let go and we can simply be ourselves in every moment. It is a way of being in the world. Amanda Ings is a Canadian yoga instructor currently based in Bali, Indonesia. With 10 years experience in guiding people through Yoga and meditation, she herself first experienced the transformational benefits of yoga at a very young age, when she transitioned from an international modelling career to full-time yoga practitioner, and eventually, teacher. Consistently devoted in her studentship of Yoga, she has continued to receive various certifications in the fields of: Yoga for the Special Child, Yoga Therapy, Transformational Breathwork, Advanced Alignment (Anusara-inspired), Yoga Nidra, and most recently, hrs studying the traditional teachings of Kaula Tantra Yoga in the lineage of Shri Vidya, under close guidance of her most-influential teacher and friend, Yogini Adept Parvathi Nanda Nath. Amanda's offerings stem from the teachings of non-duality, with a style very Tantric in nature; soft, gentle, maternal, and inviting, yet with a strong call to her students' embodiment of their own presence, power, stillness and wisdom. Her classes are deeply meditative, combining principles of embodied meditation in movement through a mixture of soft, subtle, flowing movements complimented by deep, long holds in some postures. She maintains an incredibly strong emphasis on higher awareness, breath and focus in the subtle energy body, and often works with the emotional body and the 5 Elements as well. This practice will bring you into recognition of the Soul within, rather than mastery of the physical body (though that too may come)! In 2006 I started a 2 year Teacher Training in the tradition of Swami Sivananda and began to teach right away after getting the certificate. In the following years I also experienced with a lot of different styles of yoga and teachers from all over the world in workshops and retreats. The curiosity for all the philosophical, spirituel and physical aspects of yoga was born, so another Teacher Training at Power Yoga Germany in Hamburg in 2011 with David Lurrey followed. Since that time I am teaching Vinyasa Yoga with great excitement. In 2012 I added a Yin Yoga Training with Paul Grilley, which is a wonderful compensation to the Vinyasa Yoga-Yin and Yang!In my classes, the combination of breathing, movement and focus, the flow of energy and the stillness in meditation and yin positions is what I love to teach!may all beings be free! 2 13 of September 2015, Vivianne Barry is the founder of Yoga Circle Noosa and a Level 2 Yoga Australia500hr member. Teaching Vinyasa yoga as a meditation of breath, movement and positive intention, she guides us to channel energy from around and within, to clear internal energetic pathways and so heal the body and feel peaceful connection. Her classes are set with the intention of a transformational mind-body experience. Vivianne loves the outdoors and connecting to the energy of nature: swimming the ocean, riding the forest and running the beach. She finds that yoga is a wonderful way to ensure the body stays grounded, stretched and strong to support and enhance our life, also giving freedom of mind and spirit. Kahuna massage is another modality offered, where Vivianne incorporates sound therapy into her healing sessions and holds the

6 space for crystal sound meditation. Vivianne regularly teaches at Yoga Circle Noosa and hosts workshops and retreats. She is available to facilitate private groups and lead retreats locally or internationally. She now volunteers her yoga experience worldwide to non profit organisations.fran completed from her formal hatha yoga training in 2000 with Friends in Yoga, Perth. Her teaching style combines her personal experience in the Satyananda, Sivananda and Iyengar traditions and is very much influenced by the teachings of the Buddha, as well as her living masters, His Holiness the Dalai Lama, Lama Zopa Rinpoche and her very special mentor and friend, Ani Gyalmo la (Glenda Lee).Hatha yoga emphasis the breath, connecting the mind, body and breath together, to develop awareness, mindfulness and concentration. Her systematic yoga classes offer an integrated experience of asana, pranayama, meditation and yoga nidra (deep relaxation practice), with potential to explore shatkarmas, mantra chanting, havan and puja.gyanmitra s deeper discovery of yoga unfolded when she lived for many years in India immersed in the ancient systems of yoga. She has spent over 10 years living and teaching in Satyananda Yoga ashrams in India and Australia. She has conducted numerous yoga classes, retreats, workshops and lectures in both India and Australia sharing the different branches of yogic teachings. Gyanmitra s classes are infused with the practical application of yogic tools in daily life, in cultivating awareness and awakening one s true potential, and developing the art of living consciously.gyanmitra completed her traditional yogic training in India at the renowned Bihar School of Yoga. 8 01 30 of November 2015, Ute Lea Ledwon A native of Berlin, Germany, I learned about Yoga for the first time as a student, about 35 years ago, when I came across the booklet Yoga & Meditation on a flea market in Berkeley, California. When I began to imitate the half-lotus seat from the yogi on the cover staring into a candlelight, I had no idea that this was the beginning of my blessed path of holistic health which I haven t left since. Yoga, this amazing 5000-year-old art & science from India, has helped me through all ups & downs of my life by keeping my body healthy and flexible and my mind balanced, and also by keeping me connected to the whole of existence and by helping me, again & again, to find my authentic self. In particular, thanks to an intensive yoga practice, I was prevented from giving birth prematurely and my daughter has become a yoga teacher, of course! In the meantime, since I have retired from teaching languages & theater almost 10 years ago, I also teach yoga to neighbors, friends and practically to anybody who knocks at my door. My own daily practice & my lessons consist of a sequence of basic postures of classical hatha yoga, sometimes pranayama, with space for meditation and deep relaxation. After having been a happy autodidact for many years, two great yogis and their schools have influenced me: Sri B.K.S. Iyengar and Sw. Sivananda/Vishnu Devananda. At this point, a deep bow (uttanasana) to the Indian masters and their priceless contribution to humanity. And well, see you soon OM SHANTI of December 2015, Dirkje Zondervan, Dirkje received her yoga teacher certificate at Mahindra Institute in Frankfurt after a 3- year course in She taught at the Mahindra Institute, first in Frankfurt, and then in Birstein, when the Institute moved there to establish a yoga and ayurvedic centre.dirkje teaches hatha yoga in the traditional style, and she has also followed stages at Iyengar in Pune and Munich. Recently she participated in a seminar with Dinah Rodrigues who specializes in Hormon Yoga. Besides Yoga, she is a Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner since Dirkje has taught at the Barberyn ayurvedic health resort in Sri Lanka several times, and has followed courses in ayurvedic therapy.
