2 CL/B/2/1/3 Untitled document on which the Introduction (CL/B/2/1/4) was based, with a few annotations; handwritten document, pages 1 and 2 and last two pages missing; 5 CL/B/2/1/4 CL/B/2/2 CL/B/2/3 Introduction to the Life of Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel, Chief of the Clan Cameron containing The Antiquities of that Family with some Account of the neighbouring Clans, From an original M.S. in the possession of Ewen Cameron Esq of Fassfern written at Achnacarry, previous to the year 1745 by Mr Macgregor of Balhaldie, with footnotes; leather-bound volume with numbered pages (81) and some margin notes. A note on page 50 suggests that the subsequent pages were transcribed by Mary Anne Cameron in London, Memoirs of the Life of Sir Ewen Cameron of Lochiel by John Drummond of Balhaldie 1737 (?) Transcribed from a MS in the possession of [blank] and collated with a MS the property of Miss Cameron of Lochiel. NB The collations of Mis Cameron s MS are marked in red ink on the margin words or passages surrounded with a red line are omitted in that copy. Additional are written on separate slips; large leather bound volume, marked Sir Ewen Cameron I on the spine, with three separate slips and a letter to Miss Cameron from C. Macgregor (1829) re the memoirs; 4. Note: volume was presented to Lochiel by Francis Cameron-Head of Inverailort on 16/06/1956.
