3 Polar Exploration Books Catalogue: SIMPSON Welcome to our latest polar catalogue. As we are working our way through the alphabet and now up to the letter S, this one is named after George Simpson; meteorologist on Terra Nova expedition. I hope you enjoy looking at the variety of polar material we have to offer. I think items 2,102,180, 184 and 225 will be of special interest to collectors. I have separated Arctic from Antarctic books and have three different sections in this catalogue as follows: Pages 4 to 21 Antarctic Books (with p 9 on Falklands and South Atlantic) Pages 22 to 34 Arctic Books Pages 35 to 38 Polar Ephemera Some of the special books on offer are highlighted and there are plenty of unusual Christmas gifts for the polar collector, such as a limited Scott print (item 228) and a small Shackleton bust (item 231). Clearer, colour pictures of items in this catalogue can be seen in the online version available to view on our website If the book you are looking for is not in this catalogue, then please get in touch as we do have many other books (and items of ephemera) not listed here. Please let us know if you would like more details about the content or condition of any of the books. Images can be ed if required. Paul Davies * Many books sell very quickly therefore so it is best to ring or straight away, then Andrea or I can reserve them for you. * Because of the costs involved, we regret that if you do not place an order after receiving three issues of our catalogue we will no longer be able to send it to you, unless you specifically ask for it.
