The churches are listed in Deaneries but remember there may be churches very near each other in different Deaneries. Plan a route visiing as many churches as you wish, either on your own or with friends. Many churches provide refreshments even if it doesn t menion them in the list, whether they are manned or not. Do visit our web site for up to date informaion Before the day, obtain sponsorship from family, friends, colleagues and neighbours. Encourage them, if they are taxpayers, to fill in the GiS Aid secion (name, home address, postcode, Ick box and date) so that their sponsorship money will have another 25% added to it by HM Revenue and Customs. Do complete secion on front with your details (required for sponsors GiS Aid). On the day - at each church you visit, fill in the Register with your name, church and parish for which you are raising money and the Ime. Your sponsor form will be signed by the person manning the church; if no-one is there, fill in your own. Take care! Please cycle responsibly and carefully especially if cycling in a group. We strongly recommend you study all the relevant secions of the Highway Code. Make sure that your bike is roadworthy. Wear helmet and hi vis clothing. Walkers - take care on country roads. ASer the event, collect your sponsorship money and hand it, with the sponsorship form, to your Local Organiser. The money collected will be divided equally between the Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust and the church or chapel of your choice. Cheques payable to NHCT please. INSURANCE LIABILITY The trustees of the Northamptonshire Historic Churches Trust accept no liability in respect of personal injury or damage sustained by any person in relaion to the Ride and Stride, save where this is caused by the negligence of the trustees. Any horse riders taking part must have public liability insurance. If a paricipant wishes to have personal insurance, he/she must make their own arrangements.
