2 The Devil is Real.. In the bible Satan is mentioned by name in 47 passages. In the NIV, the devil is mentioned in 33 more. The Devil is described as the one who tempted Adam and Eve into original sin in the Garden of Eden; he is the same one who tempted Jesus in the desert. When Satan tempted Jesus, he appealed to three things: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life. First he challenged Jesus, after a 40 day fast, to use his powers to make food and satisfy His fleshly needs. Then he challenged Jesus to look at the world from a high place and offered Him dominion over all He saw. Finally, he tempted Jesus to throw Himself down from a tower, saying that surely, as God s son, He would be saved- an appeal to pride. 2

3 You have Value to God You have been bought and paid for by Christ, so you belong to him be free now from all these earthly prides and fears. 1 Corinthians 7:23 (TLB) How much do you think you're worth? The Devil is jealous of you. 3

4 God knows your value; He sees your potential. Hold your head up high, knowing that God is in control and He has a great plan and purpose for your life. JEREMIAH 29: 11 NEW I NTERNATIONAL VERSION ( NIV) 11 FOR I KNOW THE PLANS I HAVE FOR YOU, DECLARES THE LORD, PLANS TO PROSPER YOU AND NOT TO HARM YOU, PLANS TO GIVE YOU HOPE AND A FUTURE. 4

5 The bible instructs us to be on guard against the Devil.. 5

6 Just because you don t see anything happening, doesn t mean that God isn t working. GOD IS WORKING BEHIND THE SCENES 6

7 He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus -Philippians 1:6 WHATEVER GOD STARTS.. HE MUST FINISH! 7

8 Let me remind you: Wherever your focus is directed, that s where your energy goes. Whatever you allow in your space, you eventually become. 8

9 When you let go, something magical happens; You give God room to work. IN ORDER TO HAVE OUR BEST LIFE, WE MUST GIVE GOD SPACE TO WORK IN OUR LIFE. GOD NEEDS ELBOW ROOM. 9

10 WHEN GOD MAKE A PROMISE, HE CANNOT GO BACK ON HIS WORD. 10

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. - Philippians 4:13 No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. - Proverbs 3:5-6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. 15 The devil doesn t want you to realize that you have a gift inside of you. 15

16 If it doesn t challenge you, it won t change you. THE MORE YOU SEE THE BETTER SIDE OF YOU, THE MORE WE SEE THE GREATNESS IN GOD. GOD PUSHES US AND MOLDS US INTO WHAT HE CREATED US TO BE. 16

17 4 ways that you know that you are under Attack. First, the Devil infiltrates your communication system A. You don t feel the need to pray. If you do, its weak! B. Reading the bible doesn t make sense any more C. You start keeping secrets from God E. Satan pollutes your mind with crazy thoughts Satan makes you think that you are in the battle alone. A. Your language changes ( if, can t, won t B. He casts doubt over your salvation C. Satan makes you think he does not exist D. He isolates you from God fearing people He has you fighting against YOU and Yourself A. Creational Man B. You are in denial C. You blow everything out of portion When hiding from God becomes the new norm A. Where are you Adam B. Thou are the Man/Woman C. Satan creates other outlets that lead to further destruction 17

20 There are seven (7) reasons why the devil believes that you will never reach your full potential? Your weaponry is outdated We honestly do not believe that everything is possible You are not aware of the resources at your disposal You think that you are not worthy of God s blessing on your future You spend more time thinking, than doing You have lost connection with God You function by excuses 20
