1 Authority Testimonies The Mice: I know a lady in one of my churches that had mice in her kitchen cabinets, and it was becoming a real problem to her. After she heard me preach this message, she went home and took authority in Jesus Name over the mice. A mouse would probably be classified as a creeping thing, wouldn t it? Anyway, she commanded them to get out of her house, and they left, and haven t been back, praise the Lord! That may not be a big deal to you, but it was a real big deal to her! The Gypsy Moths: Years ago, when I first started preaching in New England, just after Bible school, the gypsy moths were eating all the leaves. It became a huge problem for New Englanders, because they love their fall foliage! The scientists and news casters predicted that there wasn t going to be any foliage that fall. Even worse than that, they said the trees could die, and there wouldn t be any foliage the year after that, either! If you know anything about New England, people come from all over the world to look at the fall foliage in October. I call them "leaf peekers." Anyway, I started to tell people in my meetings "You need to curse those things and take authority over the gypsy moths, in Jesus Name. Go home and start talking to the trees in your yard." Many of them did, and the trees lived, and the foliage went on! The Year 2000 In 1999, there were preachers on the radio and television claiming that the Y2K would cause America and the world to lose their computer systems, among many other things. Some even feared that nuclear bombs could detonate due to the time malfunction in the computer systems. Ministers were telling people to buy Y2K food and store it up for hard times. The prophets of doom and gloom waited eagerly for the world to come to an end! Almost every cult has been birthed out of poverty communal living, believing that you re not supposed to have worldly goods and end-time prophecy, which is used as a fear tactic by groups of people and some denominations. Even some ministers use fear and guilt to control people. We don t follow God out of fear. Fear is from Satan. (For God hath not given us the spirit of fear 2 Timothy 1:7) Anyway, I was just doing my radio program and telling people there wasn t going to be any Y2K, and when the year 2000 comes, have those ministers eat all that dehydrated Y2K food! On December 31, 1999, I was doing a New Year s Eve prayer meeting on the Yale campus at the Omni Hotel in New Haven, Ct. When midnight came, and the service was over, I was still able to check out of the hotel and pay for the meeting room, because the computers were still working, praise the Lord!

2 In Mark 11:14, Jesus answered the fig tree: And Jesus answered and said unto it, No man eat fruit of thee hereafter for ever In Isaiah 54:17, God told you to condemn that tongue, or those words that rise against you: No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn The fig tree was saying something to Jesus. That s why He answered it. When evil report says something to you, you need to answer it with God s Word. Someone had to talk to the gypsy moths and tell them where to go, and someone had to talk to the Y2K fear theory. If we get the whole church doing this (1Cor.1:10), the whole world would change for the better even much better! It would be heaven on earth (...Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Luke 11:2). 9/11 Early in 2001, I was in Quincy, Ma, doing a Word of faith seminar, when the Lord told me to move to New York City. He had already previously said through prophecy in one of my meetings that Satan had a plan to destroy New York City. This prophecy just came out while I was preaching. I had no idea God was going to tell me to move to New York City. At the time, I didn t even recall the prophecy. It was later on that people reminded me of it. So, I left and went to New York City, and every day that I was there, I d walk around the city all day long telling Satan he couldn t have New York City. I would walk around and read some scriptures I had printed on cards: Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you. Luke 10:19 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 16:18,19: Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. Matthew 18:18 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence, and the violent take it by force. Matthew 11:12: Or else how can one enter into a strong man s house, and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong man? and then he will spoil his house. Matthew 12:29 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:9-11

3 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:23 As I walked, I just kept saying, to the devil, "In Jesus Name, you can t have New York City. The gates of hell shall not prevail against the gates of New York City." Then, on September 11, I found out why I d been doing this all along. At 8:30 that morning, the Lord told me not to go downtown, but to go uptown, which didn't make any sense to my head. But I knew in my heart that I needed to go the way the Lord told me to. It wasn t long before I got my answer. That was when the first plane hit the first tower. I saw countless emergency vehicles that seemed to fill the streets. If all those terrorist planes had hit their intended targets, Satan would have accomplished what he had set out to do. If that terrorist attack had occurred an hour later, it could have killed 50,000 people. I don't know if any other Christian was doing this in New York City, but for months, I was. I went downtown, uptown, midtown, across town, east side, west side, and in the subways. There I was, right in New York City when our nation was attacked. I realized how important it is to use your authority to the best of your ability. Since then, there have been amazing reports and testimonies that have come out. I m glad I did what God told me to do. The Lord saved a lot of lives that day. The devil had bigger plans. What happened should make us realize that Satan is not playing games. I ve always done my best to go where God told me to go. You get a lot of flack from people over it. People do not understand what you re doing, nor do they realize you re just doing your best to follow God, to be a doer of His Word and to be led by the Holy Spirit. I thank God for the teaching of being led by the Holy Spirit, and for the teaching of the authority of the believer. Ask God to teach you to be led by the Holy Spirit. Tell God you want to learn all there is about the authority you have in the Name of Jesus, and use it every day of your life. Don't criticize others who are doing their best to follow their Father God. I ve known ministers whose theology I didn t agree with, but once I learned they were doing their best to follow God and what He told them to do, I had the utmost respect for them. I always want to be at the right place, at the right time, being led by the Holy Spirit and have my steps directed of the Lord. Speak the 91st Psalm over the United States every day. Tell Satan he can t have the our country, and pray for the leaders of our nation every day. God is depending on us to use what He gave us, which is the dominion over this earth, in Jesus Name. The devil is out to destroy the economy of our nation. He attacked the financial district with the objective of wrecking our nation financially, and he hasn't quit. We believers have got to wake up and use our authority in Jesus Name. The following declaration of faith for our country will help you do this: My Declaration of Faith for America

4 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 1 Timothy 2:1,2 Father God, I come to You on behalf of the people of the United States of America to remind You of what You said in Your Word. You said to pray for and give thanks for our leaders so we can live a quiet and peaceable life. So God, I thank You for our leaders and pray that they and their families are protected. I decree that we always have godly leaders and never lose any of our freedoms or privileges that we enjoy in our nation. I believe You raised our nation up to be a Christian nation, to preach the gospel to the world, and help protect Israel. There s still much more for our nation to do to bring in the end-time harvest, one of which is being a living example of one nation under God and being a visible witness and testimony to all the world. God, You said Mark 11:23 that I will have whatever I say, and in Job 22:28, You said what I decree will be established unto me. So, in Jesus Name, I say that our leaders daily receive and act with Your wisdom, knowledge, and direction and that You re protecting our nation from all ungodly teachings and influences. I say the gospel is being proclaimed throughout all of our nation, as well as from our nation to the whole world. God, Jesus said...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father (John 14:9). Jesus never hurt or harmed anyone, but He came to reveal the Father God to us. He said He didn t come to condemn, but to save. So I thank You for Your grace, mercy, and compassion on and toward America. God, I know from Your Word that You re not punishing, judging, or condemning America, but it is Satan who...cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy (John 10:10). Jesus came that we might have life, and have it more abundantly. You ve blessed us so we can be a blessing to all the world, because You re a good God. You said in James 1:17 that every good gift and every perfect gift is from You. I decree that every day, more Americans are receiving Jesus as their Lord and Savior and walking in the fulness of God and fulfilling the Great Commission. I thank You for divine protection over every U.S. citizen in our nation and abroad, over every foreign visitor, over our government, and our armed forces. I decree that if the devil has anything planned, known or unknown, it is revealed by the power the Holy Spirit. You promised in Mark 4:22 that there is nothing hidden, which shall not be manifested. I say that every church in America is a house of prayer, and right now, we are experiencing a mighty revival in America and around the world; that all decisions made in our Congress, Supreme Court, and Senate are based upon Your Word and prayer; that our economy flourishes; that we prosper abundantly, and that all nations see us as a blessed and delightsome land. I decree that we will always help protect Israel & Jerusalem; that we always feed the hungry and poor of this world and have a giving heart. I say that we always do those things which are pleasing in Your sight. I decree that we, as the body of Christ, daily do our part in travailing, interceding, and pleading our cause, and that each of us is an able minister of the New Covenant.

5 I say that the Christian leaders of our nation, and all the body of Christ, have the revelation that we re no longer under the Old Covenant, but under a New Covenant, and we are walking in the fulness of our New Covenant authority, empowered by the Holy Spirit, in the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank You for forgiving us of all our sins, and cleansing us from all unrighteousness. I say we will fulfill the plan and purpose for which You established us as a nation, always trust in You and put You first. Thank You, Father God, that You have spared and saved America; and most of all, thank You God, that You have made Jesus Lord over the United States of America. I decree it done, in Jesus Name. Taking Authority over the Devil Satan, I come against you in the Name of Jesus, and with the written Word of God. According to Matthew 18:18, I bind you from the United States of America, in Jesus Name. I refuse to let you have my country! I m God s child and I have authority over you. You re defeated and under my feet. Jesus gave His Name to me, the Name which is above every name. And, in and through the Name of Jesus and the written Word of God, you cannot attack my nation s economy, the people of this nation, or me, or my family, for I forbid it! It s written, Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world(1 John 4:4). I refuse to let you steal, kill, or destroy in the United States of America, in Jesus Name. God Bless the United States of America!
