In the tabernacle of the congregation without the vail, which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall order it from evening to morning before the LORD: it shall be a statute forever unto their generations on the behalf of the children of Israel. Exodus 28:2,3 And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty. And you shall speak to all the wisehearted, whom I have filled with the spirit of wisdom, that they make Aaron's garments to consecrate him, so that he may minister to Me in the priest's office. Deuteronomy 4:6 Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the nations, Exodus 28:4,5 And these are the garments which they shall make; a breastplate, and an ephod, and a robe, and a broidered coat, a mitre, and a girdle: and they shall make holy garments for Aaron thy brother, and his sons, that he may minister unto me in the priest's office. And they shall take gold, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen. Gold: Royalty / The Divine glory and nature of Messiah Revelation 21:18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. 1 P a g e

2 Blue: Heavenly Origin Exodus 24:10 And they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness. Purple: Kingship/Sovereignty - right to rule Esther 8:15 And Mordecai went out from the presence of the king in royal apparel of blue and white, and with a great crown of gold, and with a garment of fine linen and purple: Scarlet: Purification Process / Sacrificial ministry Isaiah 1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; White: Sanctification / Purity Revelation 19:14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. (Priestly garments) Linen: Righteousness Revelation 19:8 And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. It was believed the High Priest was like the repairman going in to repair the world. Every piece of clothing was meant to atone for a different sin. All priests who ministered in the sanctuary had these four articles of clothing for atonement purposes: White linen undergarments: Sexual immorality White linen robe: Acts of murder White linen girdle or belt: improper thoughts from a sinful heart White linen turban: Haughtiness The high priest had 4 additional garments for a total of 8 garments: The number 8 represents the supernatural. Messiah rose on the first day of the week which is also the 8 th day. In the 8 th Millennial day will be the New Heavens and New Earth. 8 is the number of salvation. Blue robe: Evil Speech Ephod: Idolatry Breastplate: Wrong judgments Crown: Arrogance Exodus 28:31,32 And you shall make the robe of the ephod all of blue. And there shall be a hole in the top of it, in its middle; a binding shall be all around its mouth, of woven work. It shall be like a coat of mail; it may not be torn. 2 P a g e

3 It shall not be torn This teaches us that the Messiah s heavenly ministry, according to the order of Melchisedeck, will not be torn, it is everlasting. The ministry of Melchisedeck is based on indestructible life. The High Priest Aaron symbolizes Messiah in his heavenly ministry. The fact the priesthood could only be inherited through birth symbolizes those who are born again of the Messiah will minister in the New Jerusalem coming down from Heaven. They have also received a priesthood according to the order of Melchisedeck, based on the resurrection and glorification of the Messiah. Hebrews 4:14,15 Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the heavens, Yeshua the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a high priest that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. We can therefore say that Aaron s initiation was a prophetic picture of the Messiah s future heavenly initiation. When Aaron was clad in the blue ephod robe, he was carrying out a prophetic action, showing that the Messiah would rise through the heavens after the resurrection. Aaron s head was over the blue robe, and his body was under. In the same way, the Messiah, who is the head of his body, sits above the heavens, while his body is under the heavens. Exodus 28:28-30 And they shall bind the breastplate by the rings thereof unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it may be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate be not loosed from the ephod. And Aaron shall bear the names of the children of Israel in the breastplate of judgment upon his heart, when he goeth in unto the holy place, for a memorial before the LORD continually. And thou shalt put in the breastplate of judgment the Urim and the Thummim; and they shall be upon Aaron's heart, when he goeth in before the LORD: and Aaron shall bear the judgment of the children of Israel upon his heart before the LORD continually. Leviticus 16:4 He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen mitre shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on. This belt was 48 feet long or 32 cubits! The belt was wrapped many times around the body at the hips, but close to the heart. Its purpose was to separate between the upper and lower portions of the body; Exodus 28:36-38 And you shall make a plate of pure gold, and grave upon it, like the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD. And thou shalt put it on a blue lace, that it may be upon the mitre; upon the forefront of the mitre it shall be. And it shall be upon Aaron's forehead, that Aaron may bear the iniquity of the holy things, which the children of Israel shall hallow in all their holy gifts; and it shall be always upon his forehead, that they may be accepted before the LORD 3 P a g e

4 Messiah has been given the Heavenly High Priest crown with the Name of God upon it when He entered the Priesthood after His Resurrection. Yeshua s Priesthood does not replace the Aaronic priesthood it Supersedes it. Hebrews 8:1-5 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens; A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man. For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer. For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law: Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount. Hebrews 9:24 For Messiah entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us: Jeremiah 10:10 But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, and an everlasting king: John 1:9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. John 6:32 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. John 15:1 I am the true vine, We can then draw the conclusion that when it is speaking about the true tabernacle, it is not written as being in opposition to the earthly one. The word true or real is referring to the heavenly tabernacle, and it is not written to disdain or belittle the tabernacle in the desert or the succeeding temples that were in Jerusalem. The true tabernacle is the greater, more complete, and more lasting one, in contrast to the earthly one, which is smaller, not as complete, and destructible. Now, since there is a true and eternal heavenly tabernacle, there is also a true, eternal, and heavenly priesthood: Exodus 28:41 And you shall clothe Aaron your brother with them, and his sons with him. And you shall anoint them, and you shall consecrate them, and you shall sanctify them, so that they may minister to Me in the priest's office. 4 P a g e

5 Exodus 29:4-7 And you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall wash them with water. And you shall take the garments, and clothe Aaron with the tunic, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breast-pocket, and bind it to him with the band of the ephod. And you shall put the miter upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the miter. Then you shall take the anointing oil, and pour on his head, and anoint him. Exodus 28:9-12 And you shall take two onyx stones, and you shall engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel. Six of their names shall be on one stone, and six of the remaining names on the other stone, according to their birth. With the work of an engraver in stone, like the engravings of a signet, you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel. You shall make them to be set in settings of gold. And you shall put the two stones upon the shoulders of the ephod for stones of memorial to the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall bear their names before the LORD upon his two shoulders for a memorial. Part 2-The Gospels & Acts from a Hebraic Perspective Mark 11:27-33 And they come again to Jerusalem: and as he was walking in the temple, there come to him the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders, And say unto him, By what authority doest thou these things? and who gave thee this authority to do these things? And Yeshua answered and said unto them, I will also ask of you one question, and answer me, and I will tell you by what authority I do these things. The baptism of John, was it from heaven, or of men? Answer me. And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say, Why then did ye not believe him? But if we shall say, Of men; they feared the people: for all men counted John, that he was a prophet indeed. And they answered and said unto Yeshua, We cannot tell. 6 Isaiah 5:1-3 Now will I sing to my wellbeloved a song of my beloved touching his vineyard. My wellbeloved hath a vineyard in a very fruitful hill: And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it with the choicest vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth wild grapes. And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray you, betwixt me and my vineyard. Mark 12:1-13 Then He began to speak to them in parables: "A man planted a vineyard and set a hedge around it, dug a place for the wine vat and built a tower. And he leased it to vinedressers and went into a far country. "Now at vintage-time he sent a servant to the vinedressers, that he might receive some of the fruit of the vineyard from the vinedressers. "And they took him and beat him and sent him away empty-handed. "Again he sent them another servant, and at him they threw stones, wounded him in the head, and sent him away shamefully treated. "And again he sent another, and him they killed; and many others, beating some and killing some. "Therefore still having one son, his beloved, he also sent him to them last, saying, 'They will respect my son.' "But those vinedressers said among themselves, 'This is the heir. Come, let us kill him, and the inheritance will be ours. "So they took him and killed him and cast him out of the vineyard. "Therefore what will the owner of the vineyard do? He will come and destroy the vinedressers, and give the vineyard to others. "Have you not even read this Scripture: 'The stone which the builders rejected Has become the chief cornerstone. This was the LORD'S doing, And it is marvelous in our eyes'?" And they sought to lay hands on Him, but feared the multitude, for they knew He had spoken the parable against them. So they left Him and went away. Then they sent to Him some of the Pharisees and the Herodians, to catch Him in His words. Jeremiah 25:4,5 "And the LORD has sent to you all His servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, but you have not listened nor inclined your ear to hear. "They said, 'Repent now everyone of his evil way and his evil doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given to you and your fathers forever and ever. Psalm 118:21,22 I will praise You; for You have heard me, and are my salvation. The Stone which the builders refused has become the Head of the corner. The stone rejected initially was King David. Yeshua was the Son of David. Luke 3:23 And Yeshua himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli, 2Samuel 5:4 David was thirty years old when he began to reign,... 6 P a g e

An Ammonite or Moabite shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD; even to their tenth generation shall they not enter into the congregation of the LORD for ever: Psalm 69:9 For the zeal of Your house has eaten Me up; and the reproaches of those who reproached You have fallen on Me. Psalm 69:11,12 I also made sackcloth my clothing, and I became a proverb to them. They who sit in the gate speak against me; and I was the song of the drunkards. Psalm 69:15-17 Do not let the flood of waters overflow me, nor let the deep swallow me up, and let not the pit shut its mouth on me. Hear me, O LORD, for Your loving-kindness is good; turn to me according to the multitude of Your tender mercies. And hide not Your face from Your servant; for I am in trouble; hear me quickly. Psalm 69:20,21 Reproach has broken my heart, and I am full of heaviness; and I looked for some to mourn with me, but there was none; and for comforters, but I found none. They also gave Me gall for my food; and in My thirst they gave Me vinegar to drink. Psalm 69:29,30 But I am poor and sorrowful; let Your salvation, O God, set me up on high. I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving. 1Samuel 16:1 And the LORD said to Samuel, How long will you mourn for Saul, since I have rejected him from reigning over Israel? (Why not all your sons? ) And he said, There remains yet the youngest, and behold, he keeps the sheep. And Samuel said to Jesse, Send and bring him, for we will not sit down until he comes here. And he sent and brought him in. And he was ruddy, with beautiful eyes and good form. And the LORD said, Arise, anoint him. For this is he. 1Samuel 17:26-29 And David spoke to the men who stood by him, saying, What shall be done to the man who kills this Philistine and takes away this shame from Israel? For who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God? And the people answered him in this way, saying, So shall it be done to the man who kills him. And his oldest brother Eliab heard when he spoke to the men. And Eliab's anger was kindled against David. And he said, Why have you come down? And with whom have you left those few sheep in the wilderness? I know your pride and the naughtiness of your heart. For you have come down to see the battle. And David said, What have I done now? Was it not only a word? 1Samuel 17:34-36 And David said to Saul, Your servant kept his father's sheep, and there came a lion and a bear, and took a lamb out of the flock. And I went out after it and struck it, and delivered the lamb out of its mouth. And when it rose against me, I caught it by the beard, and struck it and killed it. Your servant killed both the lion and the bear. And this uncircumcised Philistine shall be like one of them, since he has defied the armies of the living God.
