1 UNMASKING the End Time BEAST KINGDOM A clear, unsealed, revelatory understanding of the past, present, and future events and entities engaged in end time warfare against the kingdom of God By Jim Sayles Part 8: BABYLON the Great Following the climax of the black horseman s ride, and the miraculous defeat of the Third Jihad of Islam by Israel (the Gog-Magog war) the 4 th seal is opened, and the pale green horseman, whose name is Death, appears on the scene to capitalize on the deceptions and manipulations that the dragon put into play a long, long time ago. The Antichrist, a Jew from the tribe of Judah and the lineage of David, is in the little horn at this time, but he is NOT, yet, Israel s mashiach or Messiah Ben David, whom they expect to be a militaristic political leader delivering Israel out of the hands of their enemies, just as the religious authorities in ancient Israel expected at the first advent of Jesus Christ. With the little horn / head / mountain empire of Israel, having recovered from a deadly wound by the sword (war) and then raised up from the abyss of God s judgment to become a nation again, which causes the whole world to wonder in worshipful awe, Jerusalem, the great city, ultimately becomes the capital of the final world beast kingdom. This is preceded by the establishment of a one world government through the United Nations with its world headquarters in New York, as the nations of the world, devastated by financial disasters, nuclear war, famines, planetary plagues, and natural disasters of all kinds, willingly surrender sovereignty to a revised United Nations with a ten nation, ten horns ruling body. Three of the ten horns are ultimately plucked up by the roots by the little horn, which we know to be the small, but powerful nation of Israel that defeated the third jihad of Islam. The Hebrew word being used here for plucked up does not indicate a mere military or political conquest. To pluck something up by the roots indicates a complete and irreversible status, and the suggestion is that three of the nations included in the original ten nation world congress deliberately surrender sovereignty as country-states to the rule of the new, powerful empire of Israel. 1

2 These three horn /nations retain their status among the ten nation ruling body of the new world government, but after being plucked up they are subject to Israel as country-states of the empire. Israel then occupies and controls what the authorities in the little horn claim to be the covenanted lands originally granted to Abraham all the way to the Euphrates River, though scripture does NOT clearly define the boundaries of those lands. But the three horn /nation-states are not necessarily geographically connected to Israel. Shortly after Israel s miraculous triumph over the Third Jihad of Islam, a prophet, like the prophets in ancient Israel will appear in Israel, accompanied by great signs and wonders, as he declares that God has, at long last, restored His covenant to Israel, and to the seeds of Abraham. And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him (in the presence and knowledge of the beast kingdom), with which he (the false prophet) deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped (obeyed) his image (Israel ruled by the evil triad of Satan, the antichrist man of sin, and the false prophet). Revelation 19:20 KJV (inserts are the author s) At that time the temple mount will be completely under the control of Israel, and the Third Temple will be built under the direct supervision of the false prophet. Then, after the temple is built, the militaristic political leader of Israel, a man from the tribe of Judah whose lineage can be traced back to David, will call down fire from heaven as this event is witnessed by the vast majority of the world s population, not only through the original television broadcast, but also through multiple replays all around the world. And in the innermost sanctuary of the rebuilt third temple... ( the secret chambers ) he will proclaim himself to be Israel s Messiah, Messiah Ben David, and the false prophet will confirm his claim. This will be received as the most astonishing event in world history, and it will only be the wise virgins of the awakened body of Christ who perceive it to be what it really is the revealing of the Antichrist man of sin. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, and with all deceivableness of 2

3 unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, (that Israel was redeemed at the resurrection of Jesus Christ) that they might be saved. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-10 KJV In very short order he will then establish a world-wide theocracy in which the religious courts of justice are Law. It is not a stretch, then, to realize that this has been, and will be, deceptively sold to the masses who did not love the truth that Jesus Christ hath visited and redeemed his people (Luke 1:28) two millennia ago, as the physical return of Jesus Christ to the earth to rule and reign from Jerusalem with an iron rod. Faithful Gentiles who conform to this Law will supposedly be grafted into this covenant as they receive the covenant mark of Messiah Ben David in their foreheads and forearms, which IS the infamous mark of the beast in imitation of the legitimate supernatural sealing of redeemed mankind in their foreheads. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Revelation 13:15,16 KJV (emphasis is the author s) Remember that the use of the singular pronoun, he and his, is not necessarily a reference to the antichrist man of sin, but to the beast entire, meaning the political mountain empire of Israel coming up out of the sea, and the king triad of evil, Satan, the antichrist man of sin, and the false prophet who rule over this mountain empire. Speculations abound concerning the specific identity of this man of sin who will call down fire from heaven as the false prophet proclaims him to be the Messiah returned to Israel to rule the world with an iron rod. But be clear, the specific meaning of 666 will not be revealed in advance, and the millions of hours of speculation by countless numbers of prophecy experts concerning the meaning of 666 will prove to be wasted time. The meaning of 666 will only be revealed to the wise as confirmation after the revealing of the man of sin. Yet, we do know, with certainty, that he will be a Jew from the tribe of Judah, and he will pass the scrutiny of religious leaders in Israel at that time, all of whom will be completely deceived. Prior to this event, at the time that a one world government is established through the United Nations in New York many Christians will recognize this new one world government as a fulfillment of biblical prophecy. 3

4 The pre-tribulation rapture theory will be dismissed as a lie by many at this time, but the Jewish supremacy, dual covenant theology behind that lie will remain. Then when the false prophet of Israel arises in Israel proclaiming that the mashiach will soon take his place in Jerusalem to redeem the world through the fulfillment of God s promise to Abraham, many false prophets and lying shepherds of the apostate church will teach and proclaim that the event of Israel receiving their mashiach is the return of Jesus Christ to rule the world with an iron rod for one thousand years. Though the United Nations will initially be in New York, the event described as the little horn plucking up three of the ten ruling horns brings about a change in which the United Nations moves to the now, quite LARGE, nation of Israel. Israel, at that point has become the oil rich center of a revitalized world economy with sea ports in the Mediterranean, the Red Sea, and the Persian Gulf, and Jews from all over the world will be given incentives to return to the promised land in supposed fulfillment of the dry bones prophecy and the two sticks prophecy (Ezekiel 37:15-28). It is at this time that Jerusalem is metaphorically associated with Babylon, the political and spiritual capital of the ultimate beast kingdom. The wise virgins of the kingdom of God will be fully aware of what is taking place, and their repentant responses to the Lord s end time message to the seven churches (Revelation 2 and 3) will put them in opposition to the oppressive, anti- Christian rule of the new world government whose capital begins in New York through the United Nations but ends in Jerusalem. It will also put the wise virgins into opposition with the foolish virgins of institutional Christianity who, after refusing to repent of false doctrine and idolatry, will be totally sold out to the strong delusion that the redemption of Israel will take place when Christ physically returns to Israel to rule the world with an iron rod. And it is these foolish virgins who have refused the corrections of the Lord (Revelation 2 and 3) that will become the apostate Synagogue of Satan, those who say they are (spiritual) Jews but are not, becoming the primary persecutors of the wise virgins of the emergent (but submergent and underground) end time Philadelphian church with whom they were once united by faith. Then shall they deliver you (believers) up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. And then 4

5 shall many (of My followers) be offended (because of the tribulation they were not prepared for), and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another. And many false prophets shall rise (from among the apostate foolish virgins ), and shall deceive many (of My people). And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many (of My people) shall wax cold. But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved. Matthew 24:9-13 KJV (inserts and emphasis are the author s) When THE false prophet appears with miraculous powers, both terrifying and glorious, declaring that Israel s long-awaited Messiah will soon reveal himself to them, the snare planned from the days of Abraham to usurp the worship of God s covenant people, is set. The Harlot has been taught authoritatively for many years as being the Roman Catholic Church or, more recently, as an amalgamation of New Age occultism, other sources of false religion, and the Roman Catholic Church. But when we compare the description of the Harlot, spiritual Babylon, riding on the back of the beast kingdom through all its previous forms, with the description of Jerusalem in the final 3.5 years of great tribulation, it becomes clear that spiritual Babylon, the Harlot, Israel as the little horn, and Jerusalem are all implicated in the identification of the ultimate form of Satan s Babylonian beast kingdom, BABYLON the great. And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication Revelation 17:4 KJV And saying, Alas, alas that great city (Jerusalem), that was clothed in fine linen, and purple, and scarlet, and decked with gold, and precious stones, and pearls! Revelation 18:16 KJV The ultimate form of the Harlot, then, is the great end times, world ruling, 7 th seal, theocratic mountain empire of Israel under its king, the antichrist man of sin who has blasphemously usurped the title of Messiah. The great city is the specific identification of Jerusalem in nine separate passages in Revelation. This is first seen in Revelation 11:8 when the great city is defined as being the same city where the Lord of the two witnesses were crucified, which is Jerusalem. In the latter stages it is seen as the habitation of devils. (Revelation 18:2,3) 5

6 When we compare the description of the Harlot, spiritual Babylon, riding on the back of the beast kingdom through all its previous forms, with the description of Jerusalem in the final 3.5 years of great tribulation, it becomes clear that spiritual Babylon will be fully manifested in Jerusalem at that time. The current belief common among religious Jews today, as revealed in a previous installment of this series, is juxtaposed against the ministry of the two witnesses who arrive on the scene after the Antichrist man of sin has been revealed. These two witnesses prophesy in sackcloth and ashes (indicating God s judgment) on the streets of the great city during the same 1260 prophetic days or 3.5 years when the Jerusalem of that day is metaphorically identified by God as Sodom and Egypt, and as both the Harlot and BABYLON the great. What we see then as the primary spiritual distinctions at the time world order and prosperity have been restored, with the capital of the world removed from its temporary headquarters in the United Nations (New York) and relocated to Jerusalem, are: 1) Religious Jews, led by a new prophet of Israel, believing that God has restored their covenant status, begin temple worship again in anticipation of their coming mashiach ; 2) Apostate foolish virgins of the professing church, in agreement with the religious Jews, and in awe of the false prophet, acknowledge that Jesus Christ, the Messiah, is returning to Israel, and agree with religious Jews that all Israel will be saved at that time; 3) Wise virgins, aware of the deception, and prophesying against it, are persecuted by the new world government and by the apostate foolish virgins of the synagogue of Satan, described by the Lord as being those who say, and think, they are spiritual Jews but are not. I know the blasphemy of them which say they are (spiritual) Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Revelation 2:9 KJV (insert is the author s) Once again, it is important to understand what is meant by the phrase, the times of the Gentiles. And they (Israel).shall fall by the edge of the sword (war), and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden 6

7 down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. Luke 21:24 KJV (inserts and emphasis are the author s) The current dispensational teaching that the times of the Gentiles will be fulfilled at the pre-tribulation rapture of the church, quickly loses popularity when the little horn state of Israel miraculously defeats the Third Jihad of Islam, with Jerusalem ultimately becoming the world capital. Even the foolish virgins will recognize that the formation of a world government, and, especially, a world government ruled from Jerusalem, is an indication that the supposed pre-tribulation rapture of the church, is an unlikely scenario. But it will have served Satan s purposes of keeping a divided and somnolent church in a state of unpreparedness for the tribulations and Satanically empowered deceptions to come. What will then be preached by the numerous false prophets and lying shepherds among the foolish virgins will be that the second coming of Jesus Christ will take place as He returns to rule and reign in Jerusalem, an event that will be believed among religious Jews as the future coming of their mashiach and among the foolish virgins of the apostate professing church as the glorious second coming of the Lord to rule the world with an iron rod for 1000 years. The resurrection, then, will be taught among foolish virgins as taking place after the millennial reign of Jesus Christ in Jerusalem. Both are in error, because Israel was redeemed two millennia ago at the resurrection of Jesus Christ. And their error, in denial of the truth, is identified as the strong delusion. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, (that Israel was redeemed at the resurrection of Jesus Christ) that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth (though it was available to them), but had pleasure in (the deceptions of Satanic) unrighteousness. 2 Thessalonians 2:6-12 KJV (inserts and emphasis are the author s) Luke 21:24 describing the prophesied sacking of Jerusalem and destruction of the temple by Titus in 70 AD seems to indicate that the times of the Gentiles 7

8 has been fulfilled, because Israel, the head / mountain empire suffering a deadly wound by the sword has now risen from the abyss of God s judgment to become a nation again. But they have become a nation again at a time in which it is the called out body of Christ that is the Israel of God, while all unbelievers, including ethnic Jews, are considered by God to be Gentiles and strangers to the covenant of God in Christ. Likewise, the Lord pronounced prophetic judgment upon Jerusalem, and by context, Israel, until His return on the great and terrible day of the Lord, which takes place on 10 Tishri, the Day of Atonement, at the end of the 7 th seal events. Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city: That upon you (Israel, identified in this passage as spiritual Babylon) may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar. Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.(of unfaithful, apostate Israel) O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Matthew 23:34-39 KJV (inserts and emphasis are the author s) This specific phrase, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord, that Jesus prophesied the Israelites would say to Him on some future date had already been spoken to Him beforehand by the crowds gathering for the feast of Passover as they gathered palm branches and laid them along the road where He entered Jerusalem on a donkey. On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem, took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord. John 12:12,13 KJV 8

9 Hosanna means save us or be propitious to us, and He prophesied that ethnic Israel would not see Him again until His physical return to Jerusalem on the great and terrible day of the Lord, which will take place in the future as the prophetic fulfillment of the Feast of Atonement. It is this prophetic promise, recorded in Matthew 23:39, that the Antichrist man of sin will claim to fulfill, and both religious Jews and numerous foolish virgins, all of whom are condemned by the strong delusion will rush to the temple mount, and to the theocratic courts of Justice throughout the world, to receive his covenant mark on their foreheads and forearms. What seems difficult to understand is the description of complete moral turpitude in Israel, as the world capital of Babylon the great, and in the world in general at that time. But we have missed the fact that religious Jews receiving the man of sin as mashiach, foolish virgins accepting the man of sin as Jesus Christ returned to rule the world with an iron rod, and vast numbers of the general population of the world also receiving the covenant mark of the beast in their foreheads and forearms will then be under the literal, absolute spiritual control of Satan. Current day speculations concerning various deceptive methodologies of causing people to inadvertently receive the mark are totally without merit. The mark will be deliberately and eagerly sought after all around the world. The mark will be administered through world-wide courts of theocratic Law established immediately after the revealing of the man of sin who claims the title of Messiah. The mark is also a permanent, spiritual covenant identification, regardless of the visible nature of the mark, and those who receive it will be controlled by demonic entities under Satan s command. Whatever natural human emotions, beliefs, and values were once in those who have taken the mark will no longer control their actions. For a time many who have become covenanted to Satan in this manner will be energized by a host of religious demonic entities for the purpose of deceiving the multitude of humanity into also taking the mark. But eventually Satan will release his horde of fallen angels to manifest all of the grossest forms of violence and sexual deviation possible in those who have taken his covenant mark. And he cried mightily with a strong voice, saying, Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. For all nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her (spiritual) fornication, and the kings of the earth have committed (spiritual) fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth are waxed rich through the abundance of her delicacies. 10 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. Revelation 14:8 KJV And the seventh angel poured out his vial into the air; and there came a great voice out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done. And there were voices, and thunders, and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such as was not since men were upon the earth, so mighty an earthquake, and so great. And the great city was divided into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell: and great Babylon came in remembrance before God, to give unto her the cup of the wine of the fierceness of his wrath. The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations fell, and God remembered great Babylon, to make her drain the cup of the fury of his wrath. Revelation 16:17-19 KJV In Revelation 18:21 we see a judgment indicating that Jerusalem, as the capital of spiritual Babylon, Babylon the great, will be cast down and found no more. And a mighty angel took up a stone like a great millstone, and cast it into the sea, saying, Thus with violence shall that great city Babylon be thrown down, and shall be found no more at all. The inference is that the literal city, having become the seat of spiritual Babylon, will experience physical destruction, and AS Babylon the great will be found (manifest itself) no more. But the literal city of Jerusalem will become the capital of the millennial kingdom, and at that time it will be known as the beloved city (Revelation 20:9). Babylon, in this regard, refers to the spiritual condition of Jerusalem during the final 3.5 years of the 7 th seal, not to the literal presence of Jerusalem afterwards during the millennial reign of Jesus Christ. Then, at the end of the millennial reign of Jesus Christ the testing of mankind will end, the earth will be renovated by spiritual fire, and the New Jerusalem will become our permanent home. 11 In Deuteronomy God provided the Israelites with a calendar of seven appointed times and feasts that would be literally fulfilled by the Messiah. The New Testament church in large part has presumed that these apply only to the Jews and the Old Testament, but all seven of these feasts are, and will be, fulfilled in the New Testament by our Lord, Jesus Christ, on the exact date prophesied in this calendar.
