8 The 70 th Week Then [with power] he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week; But in the middle of the week he [the beast] shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering. And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate, even until the consummation, which is determined, is poured out on the desolate. 10 The 6 th Seal God s Warning Then the sky receded as a scroll when it is rolled up, and every mountain and island was moved out of its place. And the kings of the earth, the great men, the rich men, the commanders, the mighty men, every slave and every free man, hid themselves in the caves and in the rocks of the mountains, and said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us and hide us from the face of Him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! 12 The 7 th Seal - the 7 Trumpets When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and to them were given seven trumpets. (Revelation 8:1-2) th Seal 7 th Seal 5 mos. 1 year + 1 month + 1 day + 1 hour 3 ½ years ~ 24 months 12

13 The 1 st Trumpet The first angel sounded: And hail and fire followed, mingled with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up. (Revelation 8:7) 170,000,000 km 2 1,000,000,000,000 trees 13

14 The 2 nd Trumpet Then the second angel sounded: And something like a great mountain burning with fire was thrown into the sea, and a third of the sea became blood. And a third of the living creatures in the sea died, and a third of the ships were destroyed. (Revelation 8:8-9) 14

15 The 3 rd Trumpet Then the third angel sounded: And a great star fell from heaven, burning like a torch, and it fell on a third of the rivers and on the springs of water. The name of the star is Wormwood. A third of the waters became wormwood, and many men died from the water, because it was made bitter. (Revelation 8:10-11) 15

16 The 4 th Trumpet Then the fourth angel sounded: And a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them were darkened. A third of the day did not shine, and likewise the night. (Revelation 8:12) 16

17 The 5 th Trumpet the First Woe Then the fifth angel sounded: And I saw a star fallen from heaven to the earth. To him was given the key to the bottomless pit. And he opened the bottomless pit, and smoke arose out of the pit like the smoke of a great furnace. So the sun and the air were darkened because of the smoke of the pit. Then out of the smoke locusts came upon the earth. And to them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power. They were commanded not to harm the grass of the earth, or any green thing, or any tree, but only those men who do not have the seal of God on their foreheads. And they were not given authority to kill them, but to torment them for five months. Their torment was like the torment of a scorpion when it strikes a man. In those days men will seek death and will not find it; they will desire to die, and death will flee from them. (Revelation 9:1-6) 17

18 The 5 th Trumpet the First Woe Satan and his angels are cast to the earth Satan opens the abyss All the demons come out in the form of locusts they torment people for five months The angel of the abyss comes out: the Antichrist, the beast, rules for 3 ½ years 5 months 3 ½ years 18

19 The 6 th Trumpet the Second Woe Then the sixth angel sounded: And I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God, saying to the sixth angel who had the trumpet, Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates So the four angels, who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year, were released to kill a third of mankind. Now the number of the army of the horsemen was two hundred million; I heard the number of them. And thus I saw the horses in the vision: those who sat on them had breastplates of fiery red, hyacinth blue, and sulfur yellow; and the heads of the horses were like the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire, smoke, and brimstone. By these three plagues a third of mankind was killed by the fire and the smoke and the brimstone which came out of their mouths. (Revelation 9:13-18) 19

21 The 7 th Trumpet the Third Woe The kingdom of God comes down to the earth The 7 bowls of the wrath of God are poured out Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever! (Revelation 11:15) Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, Go and pour out the bowls of the wrath of God on the earth. 22 The 1 st -4 th Bowls of God s Wrath 1 So the first went and poured out his bowl upon the earth, and a foul and loathsome sore came upon the men who had the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. (Revelation 16:2-4, 8-9) 22

25 The 1 st -4 th Bowls of God s Wrath 4 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and power was given to him to scorch men with fire. And men were scorched with great heat, and they blasphemed the name of God who has power over these plagues; and they did not repent and give Him glory. (Revelation 16:2-4, 8-9) 25

26 5 6 The 5 th -6 th Bowls of God s Wrath Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom became full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues because of the pain. They blasphemed the God of heaven because of their pains and their sores, and did not repent of their deeds. Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up, so that the way of the kings from the east might be prepared And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon. Armageddon = Mt. Megiddo (2 Chr. 35:22) Mt. Megiddo Jerusalem (Revelation 16:10-14, 16) 26

27 The Victory of Christ Over the Beast and His Army And I saw the beast, the kings of the earth, and their armies, gathered together to make war against Him [Jesus Christ] and against His army. Then the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet These two were cast alive into the lake of fire burning with brimstone. 28 The 7 th Bowl of God s Wrath 7 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, It is done! And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth Then every island fled away, and the mountains were not found. And great hail from heaven fell upon men, each hailstone about the weight of a talent. Men blasphemed God because of the plague of the hail, since that plague was exceedingly great. (Revelation 16:17-21) 28

29 The Millennial Kingdom And I heard, as it were, the voice of a great multitude, as the sound of many waters and as the sound of mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia! 30 The Great Day of God s Wrath Supernatural disasters occur worldwide Satan himself is on the earth All the fallen angels, the powers and principalities are on the earth All the demons in different forms are on the earth The Antichrist, the beast, the king of the abyss, rules on the earth The Christians and Jews are persecuted and killed Do we really want to go through all that? 30

31 Our Destiny For God did not appoint us to wrath, but to obtain salvation through our Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Thessalonians 5:9)... but 31

32 We Have to Prepare Not a Christian yet? For Christians He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. (Mark 16:16) These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God. (Rev. 14:4-5) 32
