Bible Study Lessns (part #1) 1. Can This Wrld Depend On Yahuwah's Wrd When Everything Has Failed? G t Part #1 Lessns Index G T Quiz (ffline/nline) The King James Versin (KJV) is mstly used in these lessns. Click here t access the KJV nline. In the annals f human histry, the grwth f natins, the rise and fall f empires, appear as if dependent n the will and prwess f man; the shaping f events seems, t a great degree, t be determined by his pwer, ambitin, r caprice. But in the wrd f [Yahuwah] the curtain is drawn aside, and we behld, abve, behind, and thrugh all the play and cunterplay f human interest and pwer and passins, the agencies f the Allmerciful One, silently, patiently wrking ut the cunsels f His wn will. Ellen White, Prphets and Kings, page 499 Is the Bible perfect? The messages f the Bible are perfect. The translatins f the Bible are nt perfect but that des nt make the Bible in errr. The Bible cntains many apparent mistakes and incnsistencies. Hwever, the Bible reveals just the Savir every human heart needs. Hw can an uninspired bk cntain all the principles s perfectly adapted t the wants and desire f a fallen wrld? The fllwing are seven reasns why we believe the Bible is true and is the nly surce f truth: 1. Evidence f Internal Cnsistency. The Bible cnsists f different 66 bks written by 37 different authrs ver a perid f abut 1,500 years n three different cntinents. Prbably the mst cntrversial and vlatile subject in all human histry is Is there a higher pwer? Let s chse anther subject nt nearly as cntrversial, fr example, fd. Nw select 37 different authrs frm the US t cmpile their thughts and ideas abut fd. D yu think if we cmpiled all their writings tgether we wuld be in harmny? One authr may say the best fd is raw meat, the ther green leafy vegetables, the ther fruits. If there isn t harmny between 37 cntemprary authrs wh all cme frm the same backgrund t agree n smething as simple as fd desn t it strike yu as incredible that 37 different authrs ver a perid spanning f 1,500 years n 3 cntinents frm a myriad f cultures frm varius different scial-ecnmic backgrunds culd write n the mst cntrversial subject in histry and they culd be in harmny. 2. Evidence f Histry. All true and genuine histry cnfirms and crrbrates the Bible recrd. 3. Testimny f Archelgy. US News stated that there has never been a single evidence f archelgy in histry that has cntradicted what the Bible said. 4. Testimny f Science. All true science agrees with the Bible. In fact many f the great scientists f histry have been Bible believing Children f Yahuwah. There is n cntradictin between true science and the Bible. 5. Testimny f Relevancy. The Bible began 1500 BC. When peple pick up this bk in search f the truth they find what they are lking

fr. All their needs are met. The Bible was relevant in the time f Mses, it was relevant in the time f Yahushua and it is just as relevant t tday. It is incredible that a bk culd speak s elquently t a mdern generatin. 6. The Testimny f a Changed Life. Any Child f Yahuwah that yu meet that has surrendered their life t Yahushua will tell yu that their life has changed when they began t read the Bible. The drunkard man will becme sber man, the thief becmes an hnest man. The Bible has the pwer t change the life and heart f man. 7. The testimny f prphecy. Prphecy is the predictin f future events; a frecast. T frecast the future reliably yu wuld have t knw what will happen befre it happens. One-third f the Bible cntains specific prphecies that have been fulfilled. Wh ever inspired this bk knew nt nly the past and the present but knew the future as well. Inspiratin f the Scriptures 1. By what name r title did Yahushua and the hly men f Yahuwah refer t the sacred writings f the Old Testament, the Bible f their day? Yahushua saith unt them, Did ye never read in the scriptures, The stne which the builders rejected, the same is becme the head f the crner? Matthew 21:42. Wherefre als it is cntained in the scripture, Behld, I lay in Sin a chief crner stne, elect, precius: and he that believeth n him shall nt be cnfunded. 1 Peter 2:6. But I will shew thee that which is nted in the scripture f truth Daniel 10:21. And Yahushua answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall nt live by bread alne, but by every wrd f Yahuwah. Luke 4:4. And he answered and said unt them, My mther and my brethren are these which hear the wrd f Yahuwah, and d it. Luke 8:21. And it came t pass the same night, that the wrd f Elhim came t Nathan, saying 1 Chrnicles 17:3. Every wrd f Elah is pure: he is a shield unt them that put their trust in him. Prverbs 30:5. Answer: They all refer t the sacred writings as the Scriptures, the wrd f Yahuwah, r the "wrd f Elhim/Elah." 2. Hw were the Scriptures given? "All scripture is given by inspiratin f Yahuwah." 2 Timthy 3:16. Answer: By Divine prmpting r guidance. Hly Scripture cmes t us in fur steps frm Yahuwah Himself. "The Revelatin f Yahushua, the Aninted, which Yahuwah gave unt Him. And He [Yahushua] sent and signified it by His angel unt his servant Jhn: wh bare recrd f the wrd f Yahuwah... Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear." Revelatin 1: By what agency did hly men f Yahuwah speak fr Him?

"Fr the prphecy came nt in ld time by the will f man: but hly men f Yahuwah spake as they were mved by the Hly Ghst." 2 Peter 1:21. The Spirit f Yahuwah spake by me, and his wrd was in my tngue. 2 Samuel 23:2. Searching what, r what manner f time the Spirit f the Aninted which was in them did signify... 1 Peter 1:11. Answer: By the Hly Spirit- The Spirit f Yahuwah and Yahushua, His nlybegtten Sn. But ye are nt in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if s be that the Spirit f Yahuwah dwell in yu. Nw if any man have nt the Spirit f the Aninted, he is nne f His. Rmans 8:9. And because ye are sns, Yahuwah hath sent frth the Spirit f his Sn int yur hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Galatians 4:6. 4. Wh, therefre, did the speaking thrugh these men? "Yahuwah, wh at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unt the fathers by the prphets. Hath in these last days spken unt us by his Sn, whm he hath appinted heir f all things, by whm als he made the wrlds;." Hebrews 1:1-2. Answer: The spirit f Yahushua. "The Bible pints t [Yahuwah] as its authr; yet it was written by human hands; and in the varied style f its different bks it presents the characteristics f the several writers. The truths revealed are all given by inspiratin f [Yahuwah] (2 Timthy 3:16); yet they are expressed in the wrds f men. The Infinite One by His Hly Spirit has shed light int the minds and hearts f His servants. He has given dreams and visins, symbls and figures; and thse t whm the truth was thus revealed have themselves embdied the thught in human language." The Great Cntrversy, v. 3. The Bible Imparts True Knwledge 5. Fr what reasns were the Scriptures written? "Fr whatsever things were written afretime were written fr ur learning, that we thrugh patience and cmfrt f the scriptures might have hpe." Rmans 15:4. Nw all these things happened unt them fr ensamples: and they are written fr ur admnitin, upn whm the ends f the wrld are cme. 1 Crinthians 10:11. Fr prfitable fr dctrine, fr reprf, fr crrectin, fr instructin in righteusness, That the man f Yahuwah may be perfect, thrughly furnished unt all gd wrks. 2 Timthy 3: 16, 17.

Answer: A. Fr ur learning B. Fr ur admnitin C. Fr dctrine D. Fr reprf E. Fr crrectin F. Fr instructin in righteusness G. T be perfect H. T be thrughly furnished unt all gd wrks 6. What des Yahuwah design that His Wrd shall be t us in this wrld f darkness, sin, and death? "Thy wrd is a lamp unt my feet, and a light unt my path." Psalm 119: 105. Fr the cmmandment is a lamp; and the law is light; and reprfs f instructin are the way f life Pr 6:23. Answer: His Wrd shall be t us a lamp t ur feet and light t ur path. 7. What three general divisins did Yahushua refer t in the writings f the Old Testament? "And he said unt them, These are the wrds which I spake unt yu, while I was yet with yu, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law f Mses, and in the prphets, and in the psalms, cncerning me." Luke 24:44. Answer: A. The Law f Mses B. The Prphets C. The Psalms "The law f Mses" was a cmmn Jewish term fr the first five bks f the Old Testament. In "the prphets" they included Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the twelve minr prphets; als Jshua, Judges, I and 2 Samuel, and I and 2 Kings. "The psalms" included all the remaining bks. The writings f the apstles als were recgnized as part f the Scriptures.

2 Peter 3:15-16 says: "Even as ur belved brther Paul als accrding t the wisdm given unt him hath written unt yu; as als in all his epistles, speaking in them f these things; in which are sme things hard t be understd, which they that are unlearned and unstable wrest, as they d als the ther Scriptures, unt their wn destructin." Peter here cnsiders the Apstle Paul's writings as part f the Scriptures, and dubtless he felt the same abut the writings f the ther apstles. 8. Upn what prf did Yahushua base His Messiahship? "And beginning at Mses and all the prphets, he expunded unt them in all the scriptures the things cncerning himself." Verse 27. Answer: Old Testament prphecies. Much f the beauty and depth f divine truth is lst t thse wh read nly the New Testament. Yahushua referred particularly t the Old Testament prphecies as prf f His Messiahship. When Yahushua spke f the Scriptures, He meant the Old Testament, fr the New Testament had nt yet been written. The references in the New Testament t the wrd, "Scriptures," refer t the Old Testament. Cnsider the fllwing scriptures fr further studies abut Yahushua: Genesis 3:15; 22:18; 26:4; 49:10; Numbers 21:9; Deuternmy 18:15; Psalms 16:9-10; 22:1-31; 132:11; Isaiah 7:14; 9:6; 40:10-11; 50:6; 53:1-12; Jeremiah 23:5; 33:14-15; Ezekiel 34:23; 37:25; Daniel 9:24; Micah 7:20; Malachi 3:1; 4:2; Luke 24:45; Jhn 1:45. There are mre than 250 direct qutatins frm the Old Testament in the New Testament. One will find that there is cmplete harmny between the Old and New Testaments. They are a unit, standing r falling tgether. The Old is the fundatin fr the New. 9. What is Yahuwah called in the Scriptures? "He is... an Elah f truth." Deuternmy 32:4. Yahushua saith unt him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: n man cmeth unt the Father, but by Me. Jhn 14:6 In hpe f eternal life, which Yahuwah, that cannt lie Titus 1:2. That by tw immutable things, in which it was impssible fr Yahuwah t lie Hebrews 6:18. Answer: Elah f Truth. Yahuwah s Wrd t Becme a Part f Us 10. What, therefre, must be the character f His wrd?

"Sanctify them thrugh thy truth: thy wrd is truth." Jhn 17:17. Answer: His wrd is truth. 11. T what extent has Yahuwah magnified His wrd? "Thu hast magnified thy wrd abve all thy name." Psalm 138:2. Answer: Abve His name. A man's name stands fr his character. It is the same with Yahuwah. When Yahuwah places His wrd abve His name, His character becmes the fundatin f His wrd and the pledge that His wrd will be fulfilled. (Hebrews 6: 13, 14.) 12. What prf d we have that Yahushua expressed His cnvictin and belief in Scripture? "But he answered and said It is written, Man shall nt live by bread alne... It is written again, Thu shalt nt tempt Yahuwah thy Elah... it is written, Thu shalt wrship Yahuwah thy Elah, and him nly shalt thu serve." Matthew 4:4, 7, 10. Answer: It is His habit t qute the scripture as the final authrity in all situatins He finds Himself. The Sure Wrd Of Prphecy 13. What has Yahuwah included in Scripture t help us build cnfidence in its divine inspiratin? Behld, the frmer things are cme t pass, and new things d I declare: befre they spring frth I tell yu f them. Isaiah 42:9. "Remember the frmer things f ld: fr I am El, and there is nne else; I am Elhim, and there is nne like me, Declaring the end frm the beginning, and frm ancient times the things that are nt yet dne, saying, My cunsel shall stand, and I will d all my pleasure. Isaiah 46:9 Nw I tell yu befre it cme, that, when it is cme t pass, ye may believe that I am he. Jhn 13:19 And nw I have tld yu befre it cme t pass, that, when it is cme t pass, ye might believe." Jhn 14:29. Answer: Bible prphecies. Ntice the fllwing examples f fulfilled Bible prphecies:

A. Tyre, a flurishing maritime prt f the ancient Phenicians. This large, rich city was wicked in the sight f Yahuwah and He made a predictin f dm upn the city. In Ezekiel 26:7-14 Yahuwah fretld six things that wuld happen t Tyre: 1. He wuld bring Nebuchadnezzar, king f Babyln against Tyre. 2. Many peple in Tyre wuld be killed. 3. The ruins f the city wuld be thrwn int the sea. 4. The city area wuld be scraped free f rubble, like the tp f a rck. 5. Fishermen wuld use this site t spread fishing nets. 6. It wuld never be rebuilt. The ld city was scraped free f rubble like the tp f a rck and Alexander marched his army t the island and cnquered the new Tyre. Tday it is cmmn t see fishermen spread their nets where the ld city nce std. Three attempts t rebuild the city have all failed. Ezekiel 26:14 states, I will make yu like the tp f a rck; yu shall be a place fr spreading nets, and yu shall never be rebuilt, fr I Yahuwah have spken, says the Creatr Yahuwah. This remarkable predictin was fulfilled in every detail. B. EGYPT. Surely Egypt enjys a glrius past. But what f tday? Yahuwah's wrd recrds a predictin. Anciently, Egypt was famus fr her supply f Papyrus, r paper t the wrld. The Papyrus reed grew buntifully alng the river Nile, and ther waterways. Hwever, Yahuwah fretld that the paper reeds by the brks and rivers wuld wither and vanish away, and be n mre in the land f Egypt. And even this minute detail has been fulfilled. The paper reeds by the brks, by the muth f the brks, and every thing swn by the brks, shall wither, be driven away, and be n mre. Isaiah 19:7. C. BABYLON. The greatest city f the ancient wrld, is ften spken f as the glden city f a glden age. Jeremiah prphesied cncerning Babyln: And they shall nt take f thee a stne fr a crner, nr a stne fr fundatins; but thu shalt be deslate fr ever, saith Yahuwah. Jer 51:26. And Babyln shall becme heaps, a dwellingplace fr dragns, an astnishment, and an hissing, withut an inhabitant. Jer 51:37 But the prphecy is still mre definite in the bk f Isaiah 13:20,21: It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in frm generatin t generatin: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the shepherds make their fld there. But wild beasts f the desert shall lie

there; and their huses shall be full f dleful creatures; and wls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance there. Isa 13:20, 21. The mighty palaces and hanging gardens f Babyln are nly a memry, but the Arab still lives in his tents. 14. Are revelatins f science and the experiences f life in harmny with the testimny f Scripture? Answer: Yes. Here are a few facts f the natural wrld that have been cnfirmed by science: A. He lks t the ends f the earth: t make the weight fr the winds. Jb 28:24, 25. Galile, ( ) was the first t affirm that air had weight. B. Wh hath measured the waters in the hllw f His hand, and meted ut heaven with the span, and cmprehended the dust f the earth in a measure, and weighed the muntains in scales, and the hills in a balance? Isaiah 40:12. Only in recent years has it been realized hw imprtant are the prprtins and balance f the land masses and ceans n the earth s surface. C. They [the heavens and the earth] shall perish; but Thu remains; and they all shall wax ld as clth a garment. Hebrews 1:11. Nt until the twentieth century was the prgressive aging and disintegratin f matter by radiactivity discvered. Nature is ging dwn. The dwnward jurney is easy, while the upward is either hard r impssible. -Sir lames H. Jeans, The Universe Arund Us, page 306. D. Fr the life f all flesh is the bld theref. Leviticus 17:14. The circulatin and functin f the bld was discvered by William Harvey in Prphecy and miracle cnfirm the wrd; science and revelatin are c-witnesses t the same [Creatr Yahuwah]; astrnmy hints His eternity, immensity, infinity, natural philsphy tells f His mniscience, mniptence, mnipresence; physilgy suggests His wisdm and gdness the beginnings f life, f cnsciusness, f intelligence and f cnscience, are miracles which cannt be accunted fr withut Almighty pwer, and ught t make bth atheism and pantheist alike impssible. While the heart f man and the histry f man unite t witness t a need and a craving never filled except by... [Yahushua]. -Arthur T. Piersn, Many Infallible Prfs, page Are there health principles in the Bible that can be fllwed tday?

Answer: Yes. That thy way may be knwn upn earth, thy saving health amng all natins.. Psalms 67:2. Answer: He is a new creature and all things becme new. 18. Hw d the heavens witness t the Bible s revelatin f Yahuwah and f His pwer? The heavens declare the glry f Yahuwah; and the firmament shws His handiwrk. Psalms 19:1. Answer: Everything pints with verwhelming frce t a definite event, r series f events, f creatin at sme time r times, nt infinitely remte. The universe cannt have riginated by chance ut f its present ingredients, and neither can it have been always the same as nw. 19. What witness d all created things give t their Maker and t the truth f the Bible recrd? Fr the invisible things f Him frm the creatin f the wrld are clearly seen, being understd by the things that are made, even His eternal pwer and divinity. Rmans 1:20. Answer: All human discveries seem t be made nly fr the purpse f cnfirming mre and mre strngly the truths cntained in the Sacred Scriptures. Science is cmpelled t accept the idea f creative pwer. -Lrd Kelvin, quted by Bernard Heywd, This Is Our Faith, page 36. 12 The Bible finds us where we are, and, if permitted, takes us where we ught t g... What the Bible prmises is fabulus but nt fable. -Raymnd Irving Lindquist, The Wrd f Gd, Thelgy Tday, vl. 3, N. 2, p The multitudes g t the Bible, nt fr knwledge, but fr pwer; they g t renew their sense f spiritual realities, and t catch again the visin splendid. This bk passes beynd a classic and becmes t men a wrd f Yahuwah, because it vices thse ultimate truths which give t life its meaning. These are the truths upn which ur faith rests, which bring cmfrt t ur hearts, and keep burning the fires f hpe. 21. What transfrmatin is made pssible thrugh the wrd? Being brn again, nt f crruptible seed, but f incrruptible, by the wrd f Yahuwah, which lives and abides frever. 1 Peter 1:23. Answer: T be brn again 22. Hw des the wrd bless the transfrmed life? A. It gives understanding. The entrance f Thy wrds gives light; it gives understanding unt the simple. Psalm 119:130. B. It keeps frm sin. Thy wrd have 1 hid in mine heart that I might nt sin against Thee. Verse 11. C. It guides in the way f life. Thy wrd is a lamp unt my feet, and a light unt my path. Verse 105. D. It builds. Numerus times in this lessn we have mentined the wrd f Yahuwah; wh is the wrd? In the beginning was the Wrd, and the Wrd was with Elhim, and the Wrd was Elhim.... And the Wrd was made flesh, and dwelt amng us, (and we beheld his glry, the glry as f the nly begtten f the Father,) full f grace and truth. Jhn 1:1, 14

Answer: The Wrd f Yahuwah is nt just a bk. The wrd f Yahuwah is a being, namely Yahushua, the Aninted, and the written Wrd reveals His character. 24. Since it is dangerus t base ur beliefs n ne verse f Scripture, what shuld we d? "Whm shall he teach knwledge? and whm shall he make t understand dctrine? them that are weaned frm the milk, and drawn frm the breasts. Fr precept must be upn precept, precept upn precept; line upn line, line upn line; here a little, and there a little." Isaiah 28:9-10 "Which things als we speak, nt in the wrds which man's wisdm teacheth, but which the Hly Ghst teacheth; cmparing spiritual things with spiritual." 1 Crinthians 2:13 Answer: We shuld cmpare scripture with scripture befre frming ur belief. 25. Hw imprtant is it t pray fr the guidance f the the Father's hly Spirit befre we study the Bible? "But the Cmfrter, which is the Hly Ghst, whm the Father will send in my name, he shall teach yu all things, and bring all things t yur remembrance, whatsever I have said unt yu." Jhn 14:26 "Hwbeit when he, the Spirit f truth, is cme, he will guide yu int all truth: fr he shall nt speak f himself; but whatsever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew yu things t cme." Jhn 16:13. [1 Crinthians 2:10, 14; Rmans 8:14] Answer: The ffice f the Hly Spirit is distinctly specified in the wrds f [Yahushua]: "When He is cme, He will reprve the wrld f sin, and f righteusness, and f judgment." Jhn 16:8. It is the Hly Spirit that cnvicts f sin. If the sinner respnds t the quickening influence f the Spirit, he will be brught t repentance and arused t the imprtance f beying the divine requirements. T the repentant sinner, hungering and thirsting fr righteusness, the Hly Spirit reveals the Lamb f Yahuwah that taketh away the sin f the wrld. ""He shall receive f Mine, and shall shw it unt yu," [Yahushua] said. "He shall teach yu all things, and bring all things t yur remembrance, whatsever I have said unt yu." Jhn 16:14; 14:26." Acts f the Apstles, page Is it safe t accept smene else's cnvictin as t what cnstitutes truth? "Thus saith Yahuwah; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whse heart departeth frm Yahuwah." Jeremiah 17:5 (Als read, Acts 17:11; Isaiah 30:1). Answer: "[Yahuwah] has given us His wrd that we may becme acquainted with its teachings and knw fr urselves what He requires f us... It is nt enugh t have gd intentins; it is nt enugh t d what a man thinks is right r what the minister tells him is right. His sul's salvatin is at stake, and he shuld search the Scriptures fr himself. Hwever strng may be his cnvictins, hwever cnfident he may be that the minister knws what is true, this is nt his fundatin. He has a chart pinting ut every waymark n the heavenward jurney, and he ught nt guess at anything. It is the first and highest duty f every ratinal being t learn frm the Scriptures what is truth, and then t walk in the light and encurage thers t fllw his example.

Sin is the transgressin f the law (1 Jhn 3:4). We must frsake sin, ( which is lawlessness. Obedience must be the rule f ur lives. It is the fruit f true faith. Faith withut wrks is dead (James 2:20). E. Pray accrding t Yahuwah's will. He went a little farther, and fell n his face, and prayed, saying, 0 my Father, if it be pssible, let this cup pass frm Me: nevertheless nt as I will, but as Thu wilt Matthew 26:39. See (verse 42). We knw nt what we shuld pray fr as we ught (Rmans 8:26). If it was fitting fr Yahushua t pray, Thy will be dne, hw much mre apprpriate fr us. N wise parent will give a child everything he asks fr. Why are sme prayers nt answered? Answer: In rder t have ur prayers answered, we shuld remve all the bstacles that blck the prayer channel. Think f these fur things:

A. We must frgive thers. If ye frgive men their trespasses, yur heavenly Father will als frgive yu: but if ye frgive nt men their trespasses, neither will yur Father frgive yur trespasses Matthew 6:14-15 See (Matthew 18:21-35). B. We must pray fr thers. Yahuwah turned the captivity f Jb, when he prayed fr his friends Jb 42:10. (See Matthew 5:44.) A man whse prayer is always, 0 Lrd bless me, can never becme like Yahuwah in character. We must have nt nly the inward lk, but the utlk. Jhn Knx prayed, [Yahuwah], give me Sctland r I die. Cnfess yur faults ne t anther, and pray fr ne anther, that ye may be healed James 5:16. See (Matthew 5:23-24). We must cnfess faults t thers we have injured. This is simple decency. If yu break a man's leg, d yur best t fix it. If yu break his heart, yu are the nly human being wh can help patch it up. D this nw with kindness and wrds f sincerity. D. We must restre anything taken by fraud r rbbery. If the wicked restre the pledge, give again that he had rbbed, walk in the statutes f life, withut cmmitting iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall nt die Ezekiel 33:15. See (the example f Zacchaeus, in Luke 19:1-9). 8. In what manner des James say Yahuwah will answer the prayer f faith? If any f yu lack wisdm, let him ask f Yahuwah, that giveth t all men liberally, and upbraideth nt; and it shall be given him. But let him ask in faith, nthing wavering. Fr he that wavereth is like a wave f the sea driven with the wind and tssed. James 1:5, 6. NOTE: The [Creatr] whm we serve is n respecter f persns. He wh gave t Slmn the spirit f wise discernment is willing t impart the same blessing t His children tday. If any f yu lack wisdm, His wrd declares, let him ask f [Yahuwah], that giveth t all men liberally, and upbraideth nt; and it shall be given him. James 1:5. And he said, Thy name shall be called n mre Jacb, but Israel: fr as a prince hast thu pwer with Elhim and with men, and hast prevailed. Genesis 32: Answer: With pwer f faith. Imprtunate prayer. NOTE: Jacb prevailed because he was persevering and determined. His victry is an evidence f the pwer f imprtunate prayer. All wh will lay hld f [Yahuwah's] prmises, as he did, and be as earnest and persevering as he was, will succeed as he succeeded. The Great Cntrversy, Page 621. It was thrugh faith and prayer that Jacb, frm being a man f feebleness and sin, became a prince with [Yahuwah]. It is thus that yu may becme men and wmen f high and hly purpse, f nble life, men and wmen wh will nt fr any cnsideratin be swayed frm truth, right, and justice. What des Paul say will always be cnnected with true prayer? Be careful fr nthing; but in every thing by prayer and supplicatin with thanksgiving let yur requests be made knwn unt Yahuwah. Philippians 4:6. NOTE: Our devtinal exercises shuld nt cnsist whlly in asking and receiving. Let us nt be always thinking f ur wants and never f the benefits we receive. We d nt pray any t much, but we are t sparing f giving thanks. What cunsel has Yahushua given t His disciples in regard t their persnal prayer life? But thu, when thu prayest, enter int thy clset, and when thu hast shut thy dr, pray t thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee penly. Matthew 6:6. NOTE: Have a place fr secret prayer. Yahushua had select places fr cmmunin with Yahuwah, and s shuld we. We need ften t retire t sme spt, hwever humble, where we can be alne with Yahuwah. In the secret place f prayer, where n eye but Yahuwah s can see, n ear but His can hear, we may pur ut ur mst hidden desires and lngings t the Father f infinite pity, and in the hush and silence f the sul that vice which never fails t answer the cry f human need will speak t ur hearts. 14. NOTE: We shuld nt cme tgether t remain silent; thse nly are remembered f Yahuwah wh assemble t speak f His hnr and glry and tell f His pwer; upn such the blessing f Yahuwah will rest, and they will be refreshed. If all mved as they shuld, n precius time wuld run t waste, and n reprfs wuld be needed fr lng prayers and exhrtatins; all the time wuld be ccupied by shrt, pinted testimnies and prayers. Men and wmen, d nt dishnr Yahuwah by yur irreverence and pmpsity. D nt stand up in yur Phariseeism and ffer yur prayers t Yahuwah. Wh have searched the Wrd clsely fr examples and directin in this respect?... Man must cme n bended knee, as a subject f grace, a suppliant at the ftstl f mercy. If we are t stand in the time f truble that is just ahead, we must get the daily prayer habit, and pray always. Mrning, nn, and night we shuld lift ur suls t Yahuwah. Yahushua said: Take heed t yurselves, lest at any time yur hearts be vercharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares f this life, and s that day cme upn yu unawares.. Watch ye therefre and pray always, that ye, may be accunted wrthy t escape all these things that shall cme t pass, and t stand befre the Sn f man. Luke 21:34, 36. Our heavenly Father waits t bestw upn us the fullness f His blessing. It is ur privilege t drink largely at the funtain f bundless lve. What a wnder it is that we pray s little! "Fr unt which f the angels said He at any time, Thu art my Sn, this day have I begtten thee? And again, I will be t him a Father, and he shall be t me a Sn? But unt the Sn he saith, Thy thrne, O Elhim, is fr ever and ever." Hebrews 1:5, What else was passed by the Father unt His nly begtten?

"But ye are nt in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if s be that the Spirit f Yahuwah dwell in yu. Nw if any man have nt the Spirit f the Aninted, he is nne f his." Rmans 8:9. Cnclusin: Yahuwah passed unt His nly begtten Sn, uncnditinal life in Himself. As the baby becmes independent f the mther nce he is brn, Yahushua became self-existent nce He was begtten f the Father. Self-existence was inherent in His birth. In additin t self-existence, the Sn received frm His Father His very character [gdness], and thus His express image. There was nthing that the Father had which was nt passed unt the His nly begtten Sn. Even the very Spirit f Yahuwah, the Hly Spirit, is shared by His Sn. Yahushua naturally inherited the name f His Father, Yahuwah. Yahushua was nt, hwever, c-existent with His Father, being the Sn. Relatinship Between Father And Sn 12. What did Yahushua say abut His relatinship t His Father? "If ye lved me, ye wuld rejice, because I said, I g unt the Father: fr my Father is greater than I." Jhn 14:28. "The Sn can d nthing f himself, but what he seeth the Father d." Jhn 5:19. "I can f mine wn self d nthing because I seek nt mine wn will, but the will f the Father which hath sent me." Jhn 5: Hw did Yahushua regard His Father? "And this is life eternal, that they might knw thee the nly true Elah." Jhn 17:3. "Tuch me nt; fr I am nt yet ascended t my Father: but g t my brethren, and say unt them, I ascend unt my Father, and yur Father; and t my Elah, and yur Elah." Jhn 20:17. " I and my Father are ne." Jhn 10:30. Wh, being in the frm f Elah, thught it nt rbbery t be equal with Yahuwah." Philippians 2: In what manner was Yahushua ne with the Father? The Aninted, the Wrd, the nly begtten f [Yahuwah], was ne with the eternal Father--ne in nature, in character, in purpse--the nly being that culd enter int all the cunsels and purpses f [Yahuwah]. Patriarchs and Prphets, page 34. Cnclusin: Yahushua was ne with the Father in nature, character, and purpse. But did nt regard Himself as an equal t His Father. Yahuwah invested in Yahushua every authrity and made Him equal.

Submissin f Sn t Father 15. Hw des the Bible demnstrate the submissin f Sn t His Father, the ne Elah? "And ye are Aninted's; and Aninted is Yahuwah's." 1 Crinthians 3:23. "But I wuld have yu knw, that the head f every man is the Aninted; and the head f the wman [is] the man; and the head f the Aninted is Yahuwah." 1 Crinthians 11:2. "That the Elah f ur Master, Yahushua, the Aninted, the Father f glry, may give unt yu the spirit f wisdm and revelatin in the knwledge f Him." Ephesians 1:17. "One Master, ne faith, ne baptism, One Elah and Father f all, wh is abve all, and thrugh all, and in yu all." Ephesians 4:5, 6. "Fr he hath put all things under his feet. But when he saith all things are put under [him, it is] manifest that he is excepted, which did put all things under him. And when all things shall be subdued unt him, then shall the Sn als himself be subject unt him that put all things under him, that Yahuwah may be all in all." 1 Crinthians 15:27, 28. Cnclusin: The ne Elah, the Father, has made His sn His equal in nature, character, and purpse; His full and nly c-partner. This reality des nt negate, hwever, the submissin f the Sn t His Father, wh is the ne Elah, wh rules ver all including the Sn. 16. Des the Biblical fact f Yahushua s submissin t His Father affect ur wrship f the Sn? "That all men shuld hnur the Sn, even as they hnur the Father. He that hnureth nt the Sn hnureth nt the Father which hath sent him." Jhn 5:23. Cnclusin: Our wrship f the Sn is nt affected ne ita by His submissin t His Father. We willingly and happily wrship Yahushua, fr in Him dwells the fullness f His Father, the ne Elah. We als wrship the Sn fr He is ur Saviur, Redeemer, and Advcate befre His and ur Father. Lastly, we wrship Him because He is the nly begtten Sn f the ne Elah. Hly Spirit 17. Wh is the Hly Spirit? "But ye are nt in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if s be that the Spirit f Yahuwah dwell in yu. Nw if any man have nt the Spirit f Yahushua, he is nne f his." Rmans 8:9.

"And because ye are sns, Yahuwah hath sent frth the Spirit f his Sn int yur hearts, crying, Abba, Father." Galatians 4:6. "And I will pray the Father, and he shall give yu anther Cmfrter, that he may abide with yu fr ever; Even the Spirit f truth; whm the wrld cannt receive, because it seeth him nt, neither knweth him: but ye knw him; fr he dwelleth with yu, and shall be in yu. I will nt leave yu cmfrtless: I will cme t yu." Jhn 14: Cnclusin: The Hly Spirit is nne ther than the very Spirit f Yahushua which prceeded frm the Father, the ne Elah, "f whm [are] all things." 1 Crinthians 8:6. Taking It Further There are several cnflicting beliefs abut the nature f Yahuwah. This stems frm the fact that these beliefs were brn frm varius traditins and custms. This study clings t what the plain and beautiful truths f the Bible reveal. What is the Trinity? 1. One elah made up f three persns. 2. Three elahs made up f ne persn. 3. One elah acting as Father, ther times as Sn, and ther times as Hly Ghst. 4. Three separate elahs all f wh are called ne Elah in the Bible because they are in agreement in everything. All f these beliefs are smetimes referred t as the Trinity, r the Triune Elah. These ideas have been arund fr hundreds f years, yet they are nt true! 1. Des the Bible teach that Yahuwah cnsists f three beings r is a Trinity? N, the Bible teaches cntrary t this idea. The Bible speaks f Yahuwah and f His Sn, Yahushua, and f Yahuwah s Spirit, which is Yahuwah's invisible hly presence. Please refer t the intrductin f this study which explains the false uninspired wrds added t 1 JOHN 5: 7-8 (King James Versin) t supprt the false 'Trinity' dctrine. 2. Wh is Yahuwah? But t us there is but ne Elah, the Father, f whm are all things, and we in him; and ne Master, Yahushua, the Aninted, by whm are all things, and we by him. 1 Crinthians 8:6. The head f the Aninted is Yahuwah 1 Crinthians 11:3.

And this is life eternal, that they might knw thee the nly true Elah, and Yahushua, the Aninted, whm thu hast sent. Jhn 17:3. One Elah and Father f all, wh is abve all, and thrugh all, and in yu all. Ephesians 4:6. Answer: Yes. Yahuwah is the Father. It is He wh is the greatest Being in the universe. (See Mark 12:29-34.) NOTE: This is an extremely imprtant questin because Yahushua, the Sn f Yahuwah, tld us that thse wh wrship Yahuwah shuld wrship Him in Spirit and in truth (Jhn 4:24). If we d nt wrship Yahuwah in truth can we be saved? The Scripture says that thse wh believe a lie will be damned. (2 Thessalnians 2:10-12.) O that everyne wuld realize the great lve, the self-sacrifice, the benevlence, and the kindness f ur heavenly Father, in giving his Sn t die fr us that we might, if we believe and d his cmmandments, have a sweet peace, the Father's jy, the Father's lve, and unite with him, heart, sul, mind, and strength, t maintain righteusness and t draw in even lines with Yahushua. It is nt the sacrifice f Yahushua nly; it is the Father's sacrifice als. The Father, in unin and lving sympathy, with his Sn, subjected himself t suffer with his Sn. He spared nt his nly begtten Sn but freely delivered him up fr us all. This gift f Yahushua is the crwning truth f Yahuwah's lve, and this Fatherhd, thrugh all time and thrugh eternity. Here is the lve f Yahuwah in his Fatherhd. Let us drink in this lve, that we may knw by experience what a real, tender, jyful, experience there is in a realizatin f the Fatherhd f Yahuwah. 3. Wh is Yahushua? Whsever shall cnfess that Yahushua is the Sn f Yahuwah, Yahuwah dwelleth in him, and he in Yahuwah. 1 Jhn 4:15. And we believe and are sure that thu art that Aninted One, the Sn f the living Elah. Jhn 6: 69. Fr unt us a child is brn, unt us a sn is given. Isaiah 9:6. Wh hath ascended up int heaven, r descended? wh hath gathered the wind in his fists? wh hath bund the waters in a garment? wh hath established all the ends f the earth? what [is] his name, and what is his sn's name, if thu canst tell? Prverbs 30:4. Answer: Yahushua is the Sn f Yahuwah. NOTE: The Svereign f the universe was nt alne in His wrk f beneficence. He had an assciate--a cwrker wh culd appreciate His purpses, and culd share His jy in giving happiness t created beings. 'In the beginning was the Wrd, and the Wrd was with Elhim, and the Wrd was Elhim. The same was in the beginning with Yahuwah.' Jhn 1:1, 2. Yahushua, the Wrd, the nly begtten f Sn f the heavenly Father.

It was demnstrated befre the universe that, apart frm Yahuwah, humanity culd nt be uplifted. A new element f life and pwer must be imparted by Him wh made the wrld. "With intense interest the unfallen wrlds had watched t see [Yahuwah] arise, and sweep away the inhabitants f the earth. And if [Yahuwah] shuld d this, Satan was ready t carry ut his plan fr securing t himself the allegiance f heavenly beings. He had declared that the principles f [Yahuwah's] gvernment make frgiveness impssible. Had the wrld been destryed, he wuld have claimed that his accusatins were prved true. He was ready t cast blame upn [Yahuwah], and t spread his rebellin t the wrlds abve. But instead f destrying the wrld, [Yahuwah] sent His Sn t save it. Thugh crruptin and defiance might be seen in every part f the alien prvince, a way fr its recvery was prvided. At the very crisis, when Satan seemed abut t triumph, the Sn f [Yahuwah] came with the embassage f divine grace. Thrugh every age, thrugh every hur, the lve f [Yahuwah] had been exercised tward the fallen race. Ntwithstanding the perversity f men, the signals f mercy had been cntinually exhibited. And when the fullness f the time had cme, the Deity was glrified by puring upn the wrld a fld f healing grace that was never t be bstructed r withdrawn till the plan f salvatin shuld be fulfilled." The Desire f Ages, page 37. Yahuwah's Eternal Gift 1. Hw des Yahuwah feel tward mankind separated frm Him thrugh sin? I have lved thee with an everlasting lve: therefre with lving-kindness have I drawn thee. Jeremiah 31:3. Answer: We are t regard... [Yahushua] as having lved us persnally and individually. Let us cnsider hw much pains... [Yahuwah] has taken t make us feel that He cares fr us persnally. It is s in His prvidence, and s als in His gspel. He wuld fain make us single urselves frm the mass and feel that His lving eye and heart are upn us individually. Charies G. Finney, Sermns n Gspel Themes, pages 307, What evidence is there fr us t see that Yahuwah really lves us? "Fr Yahuwah s lved the wrld, that he gave his nly begtten Sn, that whsever believeth in him shuld nt perish, but have everlasting life." Jhn 3:16. "In this was manifested the lve f Yahuwah tward us, because that Yahuwah sent His nly begtten Sn int the wrld, that we might live thrugh Him. Herein is lve, nt that we lved Yahuwah, but that He lved us, and sent His Sn t be the prpitiatin fr ur sins." 1 Jhn 4:9, 10.

Answer: Because He lved us s much that He was willing t see His nly begtten Sn suffer and die rather than be separated frm yu and me fr eternity. We will nt be able t understand it, but He did it--just fr yu! 3. Was Yahushua the Sn f Yahuwah? Yahuwah testified. "This is My belved Sn, in whm I am well pleased." Matthew 3:17 Yahushua.. asked His disciples, "Whm d men say that I the Sn f man am? And they said, Sme say that Thu art Jhn the Baptist: sme, Elias; and thers, Jeremias, r ne f the prphets. He saith unt them, But whm say ye that I am? And Simn Peter answered and said, Thu art the Aninted One, the Sn f the living Elah." Matthew 16: Answer: Yes. The testimny f the prphets; Yahushua' pwer t heal the sick and raise the dead; His peerless teaching; His wn resurrectin; The testimny f His friends; The admissin f His enemies; lives transfrmed by His pwer, all testify that Yahushua is the Sn f Yahuwah. Yahushua The Sn Of Yahuwah 4. What was the relatinship f Yahushua t Yahuwah, the Father? "Yahushua, the Aninted, is the Sn f Yahuwah." Mark 1:1. 5. Did Yahushua exist befre He was brn in Bethlehem? "Nw, O Father, glrify thu Me with Thine wn self with the glry which I had with Thee befre the wrld was." Jhn 17:5. "But thu, Bethlehem Ephratah, thugh thu be little amng the thusands f Judah, yet ut f thee shall He cme frth unt Me that is t be ruler in Israel; Whse gings frth have been frm f ld, frm everlasting." Micah 5:2. Answer: Yes. Befre anything existed, Yahushua came frth frm Yahuwah, as His nly begtten Sn! 6. In what respect was the birth f Yahushua supernatural? "Therefre the Svereign Himself shall give yu a sign; Behld, a virgin shall cnceive, and bear a sn, and shall call His name Immanuel." Isaiah 7:14 "Nw the birth f Yahushua, the Aninted, was n this wise: When as His mther Mary was espused t Jseph, befre they came tgether, she was fund with child f the Hly Ghst.. Nw all this was dne, that it might be fulfilled which was spken f Yahuwah by the prphet, saying Behld, a Virgin shall be with child, and shall bring frth a sn." Matthew 1:18,

Answer: Yu see, the Scriptures teach that Yahushua was cnceived by the Hly Spirit, and brn in the flesh, f a virgin. This is knwn as the incarnatin. Yahushua was nt a new being, but He appeared in human frm. "The Wrd was made flesh." Jhn 1:14. "Wh being in the frm f Elah thught it nt rbbery t be equal with Yahuwah; but made Himself f n reputatin, and tk upn Him the frm f a servant, and was made in the likeness f men." Philippians 2:6-7. "They shall call His name Emmanuel... Elah with us." Matthew 1:23. Our Saviur 7. What was Yahushua's purpse in cming int the wrld? Matthew 9: Did Yahushua leave us an example t fllw in His struggle with temptatin? "The Aninted als suffered fr us, leaving us an example, that ye shuld fllw His steps: wh did n sin, neither was guile fund in His muth." 1 Peter 2: I have kept My Father's cmmandments." Jhn 15:10. "[Yahushua] was in all pints tempted like as we are, yet withut sin. " Hebrews 4:15. "Thugh he were a Sn, yet learned he bedience by the things which he suffered." Hebrews 5:8. "What the law culd nt d, in that it was weak thrugh the flesh, Yahuwah sending His wn Sn in the likeness f sinful flesh, and fr sin, cndemned sin in the flesh: that the righteusness f the law might be fulfilled in us, wh walk nt after the flesh, but after the Spirit." Rmans 8:3-4 S the Sn f Yahuwah vercame in the flesh, demnstrating that Yahuwah's law can be kept, and He is ready t dwell in us by His Spirit and fulfill His will in us. As we yield t the Spirit, we receive pwer t bey Yahuwah. Answer: Yes, the Scriptures declare that Yahushua vercame temptatin and lived a sinless life, and because the Sn f Yahuwah lived a sinless life in the flesh, He accmplished five things: A. He demnstrated that, by the indwelling pwer f Yahuwah, the law f Yahuwah culd be kept by cnverted man; B. His righteus life in the flesh is nw available t cver man's past sins; C. He is able t sympathize with man in his struggle against sin; D. He has successfully revealed Yahuwah t man; E. He is in a psitin t impart vercming pwer t all wh are tempted.

Pwer T Save 9. Hw fully can Yahushua save men frm sin? "Wherefre he is able als t save them t the uttermst that cme unt Yahuwah by him, seeing he ever liveth t make intercessin fr them." What des the Bible say will take away sin? "The bld f Yahushua, the Aninted, his Sn cleanseth us frm all sin." 1 Jhn 1:7. Answer: The Scripture als affirms that it is nt pssible that the bld f bulls and f gats shuld take away sins. Hebrews 10: Was it necessary fr Yahushua t die in His wn behalf? N, Pilate, after carefully examining Him, declared, "I have fund n cause f death in him." Luke 23:22. He had n sin, and therefre was under n cndemnatin. 12. Fr what reasn, then, did He die? Deep Sympathy Fr Us "But we see Yahushua, wh was made a little lwer than the angels fr the suffering f death, crwned with glry and hnur; that he by the grace f Yahuwah shuld taste death fr every man." Hebrews 2:9. Answer: It was fr sinful, fallen humanity that He died. 13. What sentence had been prnunced upn the human family? "Yahuwah cmmendeth His lve tward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, the Aninted One died fr us." Rmans 5:8. "He tk the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it t them, saying, Drink ye all f It; fr this is My bld f the new testament, which is shed fr many fr the remissin [frgiveness] f sins." Matthew 26: Answer: When a sinner accepts Yahushua as his Saviur, Yahuwah cunts the death f Yahushua as punishment fr his sins. The sinner is frgiven and ges free. He is "redeemed" frm death thrugh the sacrifice f Yahushua. Yu see, since the hly law f Yahuwah is as sacred as Yahuwah Himself, nly ne equal with Yahuwah culd make atnement fr its transgressin. That smene was Yahushua, wnderful Yahushua. The human mind may never fully fathm the science, philsphy, r thelgy f the atnement, but we can accept it; and all wh will accept the sacrifice f Calvary will have the jy f a changed heart. "[Yahushua] was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves.. He suffered the death which was urs, that we might receive the life which was His. 'With His stripes we are healed.' By His life and His death, [Yahushua] has achieved even mre than recvery frm the ruin wrught thrugh sin. It was Satan's purpse t bring abut an eternal separatin between [Yahuwah] and man; but in [Yahushua] we becme mre clsely united t [Yahuwah] than if we had never fallen.
