Wherever there is need in the physical plant, concrete proposals are given and the parishioners respond well. Most the parishioners are retired and elderly, but we have been successful in attracting an older parishioner and a young parishioner to co-direct our youth program. We are most successful in obtaining volunteers for all functions in the church, i.e., St. Ann Novena, Carnival, Italian Day Festival, and our annual parish pasta dinner. We recruit new altar servers each year from our PREP program 4th and 5th graders. We started an Adult Server program this year which has been successful for one Sunday Mass and Funerals. Our Financial Council is made up of many business people who have great ideas and insights into matters of good fiscal management. The needs of the parish are brought to them and careful consideration is made concerning our needs versus our wants. All donations made to the parish are shared with the council membership and all money`s are allocated to specific needs. They are open and cooperative with the greater Catholic Church within the Archdiocese of Philadelphia. Report Date: 07/31/12 Page 1 p:\user\rp\info\reports\(currentyear)p pdf

2 report on ways they renew time talent and treasure commitment as reported this year. (Items 130-3, 130-4, 130-5) 2090 St. Mark 2230 St. Thomas Aquinas PPA St. Frances Cabrini In October 2011, we conducted a Stewardship Weekend Program which encompassed an overall outreach to all registered parishioners. Through a comprehensive pastoral letter with several enclosures, parishioners were invited to become more actively involved in parish life through a parish ministry and also by making a special donation to the parish. On Stewardship Weekend, parishioners were invited to complete a ministry card indicating their interest in a particular ministry or ministries, and they were invited to share their treasure in the second collection. Following Stewardship Weekend, interested parishioners received a letter thanking them and acknowledging their interest. Leaders of ministries, organizations and programs were provided with a listing of interested parishioners and they followed-up with these parishioners, explaining their particular ministry and ascertaining their possible commitment. Similar to 2008, 2009, and 2010, the 2011 Stewardship Weekend Program was deemed to be a successful venture. For 2011, we introduced three new ministries, namely, a Bereavement Ministry, a Bible Study Ministry and a Young Mothersâ Ministry. We had over 100 parishioners express their interest in one or more ministries and programs. With regard to the sharing of treasure, it was equally successful especially given the current economic conditions facing our parishioners. Please see the response to St. Joseph the Worker By updating increased offertory collections. Our commitments of time and talent are handled through the Sunday Bulletin and by pulpit announcements. Whenever we need help we just present our needs to the people and they usually come through with help Immaculate Conception Report Date: 07/31/12 Page 2 p:\user\rp\info\reports\(currentyear)p pdf

We have been actively involved in promoting the spirituality of stewardship since Unfortunately, as evidence in this Annual Pastoral Report, many continue to define stewardship with development (# 99) or as simply a `program` (#75:13). At it core, it is what we do each day as disciples of Jesus - it is acknowledging that the source of all we have in this life are gifts from God, entrusted to our care - our good stewardship. And, in gratitude to God for his generosity, we are moved through this conversion of heart to share these gifts with others. Among the many processes and activities that we use to spread the good news are the following: 1) Annual Stewardship Renewal Commitment 2) Ministry Fairs 3) Provide a full accounting to our parishioners on how we used their gifts to build God`s Kingdom on earth through a comprehensive 48 page Annual Stewardship Report (this year was the 11th edition) 4)Embraced the Diocese of Wichita stewardship model which funds all parish ministries (including the school) through the Sunday tithe. We are the only parish in the Archdiocese that is using this funding model. 5)Are members of the International Catholic Stewardship Council (ICSC) and have attended the annual conference since We are one of just a handful of parishes in the Archdiocese that belong to the ICSC. St. Andrew has received several awards from the ICSC in recognition of the quality of stewardship materials provided to our parishioners. 6) Annual Stewardship talks by the pastor and lay witness testimonials 7) Each weekend, we pray for strength to overcome the challenges of living in a secular world with the stewardship prayer of St. Ignatius Loyola (prayed before the beginning of each weekend Mass) 2260 St. Bernadette There are bulletin announcements giving the amount contributed each Sunday, and occasional statements of gratitude expressed in homilies and in written communication. There are hundreds of parishioners who devote hours of their time to the spiritual, athletic, cultural and educational programs sponsored by the parish St. Thomas of Villanova This year a specific weekend was going to be set aside in the fall for a treasure renewal. In a lead up to that, a parish-wide forum on how our Stewardship dollars are being utilized was planned. However, due to circumstances in the economy and in the Archdiocese, we decided to hold on the renewal. We are now looking to the entire Lenten season to discuss Stewardship/Discipleship and a renewal of treasure, time and talent. The forum will be part of the program. This year in the Spring we held a Time and Talent renewal weekend and fair. ioners had an opportunity to do an inventory of their spiritual gifts in advance and/or during the weekend. We`ve also included the inventory in new parishioner welcome packets. Report Date: 07/31/12 Page 21 p:\user\rp\info\reports\(currentyear)p pdf

(Items 130-3, 130-4, 130-5) 2555 St. Paul We have been using the McKenna Tithing Program for the last ten years. Having been renewed three times in the past, the next renewal will be this year. PPA 420 A Stewardship/Service Fair is offered, usually, every other year.on two given weekends prior to this event, parishioners speak at all the Masses, encouraging parishioners to become more involved. Formally, we are not a Stewardship parish; we are a Tithing parish, with numerous committed parishioners Our Mother of An annual letter is sent to all parishioners requesting that they consider an increase in giving for the upcoming year. In October 2011 OMC held a Fall Time & Talent Fair which proved very successful St. Anthony of Padua Every other year we do a formal Increased Offertory program. We make annual reposrts to the entire parish and the pastor writes annually to the parishioners. Throughout the fall of the year we make appeals to parishioners from various aprish activities for greater participation. There is ongoing individual solicitation of parishioners to serve on the seven standing parish Commissions which were the result of our long range parish planning effort in We accept the underlying philosophy of Stewardship and try to bring its tenets to bear in all that we do as parish St. Joseph We are a Tithing. (Items 130-3, 130-4, 130-5) 2350 St. Maria Goretti In early October we give our Annual Financial Report at all Masses. Following the report a increased offering plea was made verbally and sent via mail to all 3052 active and inactive parishioners. Since this time we have seen an appreciable increase in our weekly offerings. We hold a bi-annual Ministry Fair which gives parishioners the oppotunity to learn more about the minstries and where their time and God given talents can be utilized best within the parish. This is also a great opportunity to get together to strenghthen our parish community.it was held last weekend and the turn out was positive. I consider Saint Maria Goretti parish a Stewardship because of the faithful and dedicated parishioners who are always willing to help out when needed whether financial or with their time and talents. They are always generous when it comes to second collections for the diocese, monthly food drives and for our `Poor Box Initiative` St. Stanislaus St. Stanislaus has been a thithing parish since the 1990s, and the notion of stewardhsip is brought to the attention of parishioners. We also now disclose where monies are being spent so that people know the outlays are necessary and legitimate. Three to four parish organizations are invited on slected Sundays to participate in highlighting their mission to the St. Stanislaus community. This serves both to inform and to encourage parish participation. Also, we have `Welcome Packet` for newly registered parishioners with invitations to participate in various parish organization. The days of $5 or $6 a week in the envelope are long past. We enoourage people to see their Church offerings are thanksgiving to God for the blessings they have received. There is an active Stwardship Committee at the parish, and at school, the student council is called stewardship council to impress on the young people the need to give back. We have ongoing volunteer recruitment Epiphany of Our Lord We implement the vision of the McKenna Stewardship Ministry by having guest speakers at Mass every other fall.
