2 Talent - A Play On Words? Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning. 12 Faith Is A Gift From God Now faith is the *substance (realization) of things hoped for, the *evidence (Or confidence) of things not seen. (Heb. 11:1) (see Faith Is A Gift From God) 12

19 This is the first thing I got as a babe in the Lord. 19

20 Are You Ready For Christ? The very first thing I got as a babe in the Lord was an illustration in my head of the Lord returning. It took months to draw it and my 10 year old daughter, Jennie, helped me with the lights and darks. When I finally finished the sketch on Feb. 11, 1990 I asked the Lord for something to say to go with it, and got the poem Are you ready for Christ? Then another unexpected sketch followed. As I read the Word daily crying out for God to Please help me understand this! I found scriptures that illuminated what I had depicted. It was on March 18, 1990 that I saw 2 Chr. 26:9 spoke of the final sketch. Then on Sept. 7, 1990 I realized the initial vision was from Deut. 32:22. But it was not until Feb. 2, 1994 that I saw Isa. 2:19 also applied to that first impression. And Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner Gate, at the Valley Gate, and at the corner buttress of the wall: then he fortified them. (2 Chr. 26:9) And set on fire the foundations of the mountains. (Deut.32:22) They shall go into the holes of the rocks, And into the caves of the earth, From the terror of the Lord And the glory of His majesty, When He arises to shake the earth mightily. (Isa. 2:19) (see Are You Ready For Christ?) 20

21 Are You Ready For Christ? Are you ready for Christ to come back to earth, And claim all His children with their rebirth. When dead stand before God whether be small or great, And simply line up there before Him to wait. The sea gives up those dead in it now; Death and Hades deliver dead somehow. Books are opened up for God to see; The Book of Life judges you and me. Each one judged according to their works; Making account for all idle words. Those not in the Book, the liars; Are cast down into the lake of fire. All things made new from heaven above; Filling New Jerusalem with God s lasting love. Now the old heaven, and the old earth Were passed away from this new birth. God wipes away every tear from our eyes; Death, sorrow, crying, pain are not realized. For the fountain of life we no longer need wait; Living in the city with twelve pearly gates. [Rev. 20:12 21:21] 21
