2 Tribulation Rapture 7 years 3-1/2 3-1/ Covenant with Israel Antichrist ends sacrifices, and comes to makes desolation complete TRIBULATION GREAT TRIBULATION Religious Babylon is destroyed (Rev 17) Satan is cast down to the earth Jesus returns (Rev 19) Political/Economic Babylon is destroyed (Rev 18)

3 The Vision Continues! Rapture 7 years TRIBULATION Jesus returns! 1000 years Millennial Kingdom Christ reigning on earth Satan is bound he cannot deceive Satan is released Satan is judged Resurrection of non-believers Judgment of non-believers

4 Revelation 20:1 Then I saw An angel coming down from heaven Holding the key of the abyss A great chain in his hand He laid hold of the dragon Bound him for 1000 years

5 Revelation 20:3 The angel throws Satan into the abyss Shut it and sealed it so that he would not deceive the nations any longer Until the 1000 years were completed After these he will be released for a short period of time

6 Revelation 20 The Millennial Kingdom Christ reigns Isa 9:3-7; 11:1-10 Peace Isa 32:17-18; Mic 4:2-4 Joy Isa 61:7,10 Comfort Isa 40:1-2 Nations will come Zec 8:22

7 Revelation 20:4 Thrones were set up John saw souls of the beheaded Reigned with Christ for 1000 years The rest of the dead (nonbelievers) Didn t come to life until after 1000 yr

8 Revelation 20:5-6 This is the first resurrection All believers in Jesus for Salvation Second death no power over them They will be priests of God & Christ Will reign with Him for 1000 yr

9 Revelation 20:7 When the thousand years are completed Satan will be released from his prison He will come out to deceive nations To gather them together for war Their number is like the sand of the seashore

10 Revelation 20:9-10 They came up on broad plain Surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city Fire came down and devoured them The devil - thrown into the lake of fire Where the beast & false prophet are Tormented day & night forever

11 Revelation 20:11 A great white throne and Him who sat on it Earth and heaven fled away No place was found for them

12 Revelation 20:12 John sees the dead Great and small standing before the throne Books were opened Another was opened, the book of life The dead were judged by writing in the books, according to their deeds

13 Revelation 20:13 The sea gave up the dead which were in it Death and Hades gave up the dead in them They were judged Every one According to their deeds

14 Revelation 20:14 Then death and hades were thrown into the lake of fire No more death! This is the second death The lake of fire

15 Revelation 20:15 If anyone s name was not found in the book of life He was thrown into the lake of fire Permanent forever and ever Not just annihilation

16 Revelation 21:1-2 A New heaven and new earth The first have passed away There is no longer any sea New Jerusalem Coming down out of heaven From God Made ready as a bride adorned

17 Revelation 21:3 John heard a voice from the throne Behold The tabernacle of God is among men He will dwell among them They shall be His peoples God Himself will be among them

18 Revelation 21:4 He will wipe away every tear There will no longer be: Death Mourning Crying Pain The first things have passed away

19 Revelation 21:5-6 God says Behold, I am making all things new Write -these words are faithful and true It is done I am the alpha and the omega I will give to the one who thirsts Freely from the spring of water

20 Revelation 21:7 He who overcomes (Rev 2-3) Will inherit these things I will be his God (Gen 17:7-8; Ex 6:7; 20:2; Lev 26:12; Num 15:14; Deut 29:13; 2 Sam 7:24; Jer 7,11,24,30: Ez 11, 34, 36, 37) He will be my son (Eph 1:13-14)

21 Revelation 21:8 But for the cowardly and unbelieving and abominable and murderers and immoral persons and sorcerers and idolaters and liars Their part will be in the lake of fire Burns with fire and brimstone Which is the second death

22 Revelation 21:9 Then one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls spoke to me Come here, I will show you the bride, the wife of the lamb Who is the bride?

23 Revelation 21:10-11 John is carried away in the Spirit To a great and high mountain John is shown Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven From God Having the glory of God

24 Revelation 21:11-12 New Jerusalem is described Her brilliance was like a very costly stone Like crystal-clear jasper (Rev 4:3) Great and high wall Twelve gates with angels Names of the twelve tribes on them

25 Revelation 21:13-14 New Jerusalem is described Three gates on the east, north, south and west The wall had twelve foundation stones The names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb were on them

26 Revelation 21:15-17 The angel had a gold measuring rod To measure the city, gates and wall The city is laid out as a square 1500 miles x 1500 miles x 1500 miles Its wall 72 yards (most likely its width) Human measurements = angelic

27 Revelation 21:18-19 The wall material was like jasper The city was pure gold Like clear glass The foundation stones of the city wall Adorned with every kind of precious stone

28 Revelation 21:19-20 Jasper Chrysolite Sapphire Beryl Chalcedony Topaz Emerald Chrysoprase Sardonyx Jacinth Sardius Amethyst

29 Revelation 21:21 The 12 gates were 12 pearls A single pearl The street of the city Pure gold, like transparent glass

30 Revelation 21:22-23 John saw no temple in it! The Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple No need of sun or moon to shine on it The glory of God has illumined it Its lamp is the Lamb

31 Revelation 21:25-26 The nations will walk by its light Kings of the earth will bring their glory into it In the daytime (there will be no night) Its gates will never be closed They will bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it

32 Revelation 21:25-26 Nothing unclean, no one who practices abomination and lying shall come into it Only those whose names are written in the Lamb s book of life
