Disclaimer and Blessing My Goal: Honor the Almighty and His Word Man s Science Reveals YHVH Glory Open Our Eyes So That we May See the Wonders of your Torah For You: Receive, Pray and Consider this Teaching I am Only One of YHVH s many Ambassadors and Teachers I know not all things, just what I am to Share What To Do: Our Convictions are YHVH s Way of Initiating Change in Our Lives What Not to Do: Disagreements are Not Reasons To Fall Out of What YHVH Commanded - Fellowship; Love YHVH, Love Friends, and Be Obedient Walk Like: act justly, To love mercy, and to walk humbly with your YHVH Don t Be Like: Seven Things YHVH Hates (Prov 6:16-20)
Pre-Messiah: Salvation Deut 34:4-5 So Moses the servant of the LORD died there in the land of Moab, according to the word of the LORD. And He buried him in a valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor; but no one knows his grave to this day 2 Kings 2:11 Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven Matt 8:11 And I say to you that many will come from east and west, and sit down with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven. Matt 17:3 He was transfigured before them. His face shone like the sun, and His clothes became as white as the light. And behold, Moses and Elijah appeared to them, talking with Him.
Pre-Messiah: Salvation Luke 16:22-23 So it was that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels to Abraham s bosom. The rich man also died and was buried. And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. John 11:14; 43 And being in torments in Hades, he lifted up his eyes and saw Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. (43) Now when He had said these things, He cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth! Torah-Keepers but no messiah, now in Heaven.how?????
Salvation Basic Rule - Regarding the word Yeshua - Masculine form - Contains three consonants - The YOD, the SHIN, and the AYIN - Early Semitic Pictographs (Paleo Hebrew) - YOD = Hand, meaning an action or deed - SHIN = Teeth, meaning to destroy or consume - AYIN = Eye, meaning to cast yours eyes or look upon - Divinely ordered by the Creator - To be saved means, Rescue from Bondage, Destroying the enemy, and Finally dedication to one who Saved - Not an Instantaneous Event - Look at David in 2 SAM 22:1-4, 15, 20-24
Salvation Through Perfection Assumption: Grace for Salvation Purposes was Post-Messiah Concept Perfectly Carrying Out Torah would earn Salvation? NO.false false Torah itself was created for an imperfect world It provided for lawbreakers through its sacrificial System as Part of its code Why did it have Provisions for error? YHVH knew we could not live flawlessly Its commandments were CORRECTIVE and INSTRUCTING man how he should be within his heart Obedience = blessings disobedience = curses
Salvation Through Perfection It was from the beginning based on FAITH YHVH statement to Adam/Eve after the fall Genesis 3:8-15 Seed from the woman Paul talks about Abraham Promise would be based on not his works but Faith and Grace Romans 4:11-14 It would Not Come Through The Law Righteous Man of Faith in the Tanakh were justified by their FAITH and NOT Works Deut 7:6-9 Not by merit but YHVH Love for those Faithful Even with Deut 7:8 are two components for salvation Unmerited favor towards YHVH People 1 st Part LOVE Keeping the Oath that was Made with Abraham 2 nd Part OATH Therefore Redeemed from Bondage
Salvation Through Perfection Hebrew 11:16 their Faith has an eternal reward Habakkuk 2:4 Behold, his soul is puffed up. It is not upright in him, but the righteous will live by his faith. Talmud Rabbi Nachman states that all principles in Torah can be distilled down from Habakkuk 2:4 (Makkot 24a refers) Life of Torah distills down to a life of faith Therefore: Established that Salvation in the Tanakh was by GRACE
Atonement Through The Temple ASSUMPTION: Almighty accepted sacrifices for atonement until the messiah came, and then Messiah was the final sacrifice thereby Supplanting the Torah sacrificial systems. Problem: Turns the Messiah s Death into a sort of convenience Sacrificial system continued until 70CE when Romans Destroyed the Temple in Jerusalem Restarted Briefly again during the Jewish War of CE
Atonement Through The Temple Two Purposes of a Sacrifice Korban allows worshiper to draw near to YHVH Torah does not attribute Expiation for intentional sin Majority of Levitical sacrifices were for thanksgiving and rejoicing Kaphar - protective covering; ransom for one s life Sin offering /Atonement Sacrifices provided a protective covering Tabernacle, Altar, its Furnishings, and Priesthood needed to be covered From the consuming Spirit of YHVH
Atonement Through The Temple Sacrificial system provided a Worshipper the capability to draw Near to YHVH within HIS HOLY PLACE, safely through a surrogate agency Hebrews 10:3-5..blood of the sacrifice.. Eternal forgiveness cannot from their blood Final expiation is through repentence not the blood from the Sin/Guilt/Day of Atonement Hebrews 9:11-15 Purpose of the temple sacrifice, compared to the Messiah Blood of Bulls and Goat = Cleanse the Flesh Blood of the Messiah = Cleanse the Spirit
Atonement Through The Temple? Temple sacrifices Cleanses the Natural being and the sacrifice of the Messiah cleanses the Spiritual Being Mutually Exclusive Processes for the cleansing of the Internal and the external being Torah institutions are a chukka olam eternal statue Temple: Physical Cleansing (Priesthood: Levites) Nefesh earthly fleshly soul Messiah: Spiritual Cleansing (Priesthood: Melchizedek) Neshamah divine soul Lost Tribes of Israel Leviticus 17:11 - life in the blood, atonement for your souls A Copy and Shadow of the Heavenly Things Moses was told to build a tabernacle like that of heaven
Salvation Through Messiah Gen 12:3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Normally Passive, but here it is Reflexive in translation Referring Back to YHVH people to be have a Messiah, as echoed by Paul GAL 3:16 Now the promises were spoken to Avraham and to his seed. He doesn't say, "To seeds," as of many, but as of one, "To your seed," which is Messiah Hebrew word Zerah ; Not a collective Term, but referring to One Individual
Salvation Through Messiah Chapter 3 Galatians - Paul conveys that the righteous will live by faith, Torah Leading to the Messiah, and His Righteousness Gen 15:5-6 The LORD brought him outside, and said, "Look now toward the sky, and count the stars, if you are able to count them." He said to Avram, "So shall your seed be. He believed in the LORD; and he reckoned it to him for righteousness. Prophecy of The Messiah coming from Avraham s Seed who would bring the world universal Blessing Avraham did not Know the Good News but he had faith in the YHVH promise for redemption and atoning sacrifice
Salvation Through Messiah Avraham witnesses the Day of the Messiah Your father Avraham rejoiced to see my day. He saw it, and was glad. John 8:54-57 Genesis 22 Outline the provision through the Binding of Isaac as the substitute Prophetic in the ACTION and NAME that Avraham gives where he Takes Isaac GEN 22:14 Avraham called the name of that place Yahweh-Jireh (The Lord Will See). As it is said to this day, "In the LORD's mountain it will be provided. GEN 22:7-8 Yitzchak spoke to Avraham his father, and said, "My father?" He said, "Here I am, my son." He said, "Here is the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?. Avraham said, "God will provide himself the lamb for a burnt offering, my son." So they both went together
Temple + Messiah = what? Israelites living before the Advent of the Messiah were not save by means of keeping the Torah perfectly or By means of Offering Sacrifices to take away sins. Then what Did? Temple? Messiah? Sacrifices? 2 Chronicles 33 - King Manasseh Gospel of the Kingdom Answer: FAITH IN YHVH Temple Then Messiah Now Temple Faith in YHVH Messiah Faith in YHVH Temple Repented for Sins Messiah Repented for Sins Temple Believed in Promises Messiah Believed in Promises Temple Obedience to YHVH Ways Messiah Obedience to YHVH Ways Temple Relied on Grace/Mercy Messiah Relied on Grace/Mercy Temple Anticipate Coming Messiah Anticipate Coming Hebrews 4:3 His works were finished from the foundations of the world
A Practical Look So, what does it take to be Saved? Redeemed? Make it to Heaven? Revelation 12:17 The dragon grew angry with the woman, and went away to make war with the rest of her seed, who keep YHVH's mitzvoth and hold Yeshua's testimony. Temple: Physical Cleansing (Priesthood: Levites) Nefesh earthly fleshly soul Messiah: Spiritual Cleansing (Priesthood: Melchizedek) Neshamah divine soul Eternal Life Torah - Instructions to the Bride for Her Righteousness Kettubah/Marriage Contract Betrothed Divorced Israel receives Kinsman Redeemer How do you start? Matt 4:17 Repent for the Kingdom of YHVH is Near Ezekiel 18:2-9..Turn and You Shall Live
A Practical Look Exodus 6:6-8 YHVH redeems Israel by His own Mighty Hand, while Israel was still slaves Not a saved people, but yet a redeemed people Headed over to Mt. Sinai and delivered his Torah Enabling them to be a saved people Redemption Sovereign act and responsibility of YHVH Hebrew word pidyowm (masculine noun) Meaning ownership through payment, ransom One-sided action, whether Israel acknowledges it or NOT Salvation Conscious act on the part of those being saved Romans 8:18-25 who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.. Why is Rabbi Shaul saying he is waiting on?
A Practical Look Gospel of Salvation? Isaiah 52:7 talks about salvation, not a gospel of salvation Romans 1:16 talks about Messiah, not a gospel of salvation Ephesians 1:13 talks about gospel of your salvation, not a said gospel for salvation Gospel of Salvation- Not! Paul warns followers of other good fake news in Galatians 1:8-9 What is they don t recognize who their Redeemer is? Hosea 11:3 / Romans 3:3 / Isaiah 45:4 - It was I that healed you Isaiah 43:1-3 and Psalm 27:1 redemptive identity is revealed Psalm 118:14 Final Redemptive Act Israel will say The LORD is my strength and song. He has become my yeshu`ah. Jeremiah 31:3-4 / Hosea 2:19 I will betroth you to me forever. Yes, I will betroth you to me in righteousness, in justice, in lovingkindness, and in compassion
What are the Risks? One Saved, Always Saved? Matt 13: 1-23 When anyone hears the word of the kingdom, and doesn't understand it, the evil one comes, and snatches away that which has been sown in his heart Hebrews 6:6 partakers of the Ruach HaKodesh tasted the good word and then fell away, it is impossible to renew them again to repentance;... What Drives Man from Torah to the Messiah? Rabbi Shaul states Galatians 3:23-24 the law was a tutor to bring us to Yeshua that we might be justified by faith No Torah (Kettubah) = No Marriage Supper of the Lamb Engaged, Bride Gets Ready in Her Chambers, and than married
Conclusion - Have FAITH in YHVH - Be Obedient To YHVH Commandments - Have the Testimony of Messiah - Repentence is the STARTING POINT - Salvation is the Process to Righteousness - Redemption is the FINAL ACT Isaiah 54:5-8 For your Maker is your husband; the LORD of Hosts is his name: and the Holy One of Yisra'el is your Redeemer; the God of the whole eretz shall he be called. For the LORD has called you as a wife forsaken and grieved in spirit, even a wife of youth, when she is cast off, says your God. For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you. In overflowing wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting lovingkindness will I have mercy on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.
