TH 8 DAY - ANCIENT TYPES compiled by Rachel Cory-Kuehl on September 9, 2011 a free audio of is study is available at e web site All references from e New King James Version - unless noted PRESENTED TO THE LORD Exodus 22:30 The firstborn were to be given to e LORD on e 8 day. Exodus 4:22 Israel is my son, my firstborn. NOTE: Human infant males were redeemed wi money. (The redemption price.) The word redeem means to buy back. Our redeemer paid e redemption price and bought us back from Satan and his kingdom. Question: When will Yeshua present us to His Faer - a complete and whole people? Answer: On e 8 day. 1 Corinians 15:24 Then comes e end, when He delivers e kingdom to God e Faer, when He puts an end to all rule and all auority and power. Leviticus 22:27 A newborn animal (firstborn or not) was to remain wi its moer for 7 days. On e 8 day, e animal would be acceptable as a sacrifice to e Lord. Question: When do we become acceptable - to e LORD? Answer: On e 8 Day. CIRCUMCISION Question: When will we - newborn Israelites - be finally circumcised? Answer: On e 8 day. (Leviticus 12:3, Acts 7:8, Genesis 17:12) Ezekiel 36:24-27 "For I will take you from among e nations, gaer you out of all countries, and bring you into your own land. 25 "Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you shall be clean.... "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit wiin you; I will take e heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. I will put My Spirit wiin you and cause you to walk in My statutes, and you will keep My judgments and do em. Romans 2:29... circumcision is at of e heart, in e Spirit, not in e letter; whose praise is not from men but from God. Colossians 2:11 In Him you are being circumcised wi e circumcision made wiout hands, by putting off e body of e sins of e flesh, by e circumcision of Christ Note: circumcised is in e aorist tense, signifying a process has begun.

2 Peter 3:8... one day is wi e Lord as a ousand years, and a ousand years as one day. HEALING Question: When will we be finally healed? Answer: On e 8 day. Leviticus Chapter 13 - A seven day quarantine was required, for infectious diseases, issues, skin lesions, etc. Sacrifices to be offered on e 8 day - en considered clean. Leviticus 15:13-14 Anyone wi an abnormal discharge was separated from e camp. If e person was healed he/she was to remain separated for 7 more days. On e eigh day he could present a sin offering and a burnt offering and rejoin e camp. NOTE: How do I know at ere will be no sex in e kingdom? Because - sex, seminal emissions, and menstruation - all made one unclean (Lev 15:16, 18, 19, 32). Jesus said, "For in e resurrection ey neier marry nor are given in marriage, but are like angels of God in heaven. (Matew 22:30) LEPROSY - A SYMBOL OF SIN Anyone suffering from leprosy was believed to be under e curse of God. Leviticus 14:10-32 The leper who was healed of his leprosy must present himself to e priest. The priest goes outside e camp to see e leper, just as Yeshua left heaven to come to us. If no leprosy was found en: ON DAY ONE: Cleansing procedure: 2 living clean birds, cedar wood, scarlet, hyssop Kill one bird (Yeshua), in earen vessel (tomb), over running water (Spirit). Dip e living bird, e cedar, e scarlet, e hyssop in e blood/water. Sprinkle e healed leper 7 times, and pronounce him clean. Release e live/blood dipped bird (Yeshua risen). The - now clean - person shall wash his cloes, shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water. Then he may come into e camp, but he must remain outside his tent (His Temple?) seven days. ON DAY SEVEN: The - now clean - person was to shave again, all e hair from his head, -including his beard and his eyebrows. He was to wash his cloes and wash his body in water - and he shall be clean (cleaner).

ON e 8 DAY: 2 male lambs, and 1 ewe lamb of first year, flour, and oil presented wi e now clean e door of e tabernacle, before e LORD. The priest offers e sacrifices: The priest anoints e right ear, right umb, right big toe wi e blood of e trespass offering, and en wi oil. The rest of e oil is poured upon head of e now cleansed leper. NOW - he may enter his tent. NOTE: Same anointing for e consecration of priests. SYMBOLISM: We were lepers but, become priests on e 8 day. EXAMPLE: Numbers 12:14 Miriam was healed of leprosy but was shut out of e camp seven days, returning on e 8 day. NOTE: A house wi leprosy was cleansed in e same way. Lev 14:49 Two clean birds/cedarwood/scarlet/hyssop procedure. No oer sacrifices for e house. The house did not sin. SYMBOLISM: The LORD s house also is cleansed by e LORD s dea and resurrection. 2 Peter 3:8... one day is wi e Lord as a ousand years, and a ousand years as one day. CONSECRATED AS PRIESTS Question: When will we begin to minister as priests? Answer: On e 8 day. Exodus chapter 29: Aaron and his sons and all future priests v. 35 seven days you shall consecrate em. v.2 e grain offering was of wheat flour - from e second harvest (not barley-e first harvest) v.4 wash em wi water - en put on e special priestly garments (Lev 8:6-9) v.7 head of Aaron anointed wi oil (Lev 8:12) v.12 kill e bull for a sin offering v.15 kill e ram for a whole burnt offering v.19 kill e oer ram - ram of consecration (Lev. 8:22) v.22 anoint tip of rt ear/rt umb/rt big toe (Lev. 8 :23 ) sprinkle some of e blood from e alter, wi oil on Aaron and his sons, and eir garments (Lev 8:30) v Wave offering-all fat wi unleavened cake and wafer wi oil

TH INSIDE THE TENT (HEAVEN) UNTIL THE 8 DAY. Hebrews 9:24 For Christ has not entered e holy places made wi hands, which are copies of e true, but into heaven itself, now to appear in e presence of God for us; Leviticus 8:33-36 And you shall not go outside e door of e tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until e days of your consecration are ended. For seven days he shall consecrate you. Leviticus 9:1 It came to pass on e 8 day, at Moses called Aaron and his sons...v. 4 for today e LORD will appear to you... v.6 e glory of e LORD will appear to you. v.7 Go to e alter, offer your sin offering and your burnt offering, and make atonement for yourself and for e people. The priestly ministry begins on e 8 day. After e sacrifices and e Aaronic blessing - Lev. 9:23 Then e glory of e LORD appeared to all e people, and fire came out from before e LORD, and consumed e burnt offering On is SAME 8 DAY - (10:1-5) Nadab and Abihu offered strange fire (not from e alter of burnt offering) and fire went out from e LORD and devoured em and ey died. v.4-5 Their breren came near and carried e bodies from before e sanctuary out of e camp (by eir tunics). So ey died in e courtyard - not in e Holy Place (not in Heaven). READ 10:16-19 Moses looked to find e sin offering, which should have been eaten by e priests, in e holy place, and it was all burned up. He was angry wi Eleazar and Iamar (e sons of Aaron) but Aaron said, is day ey have offered eir sin offering and eir burnt offering before e LORD and such ings have befallen me. If I had eaten e sin offering today, would it have been accepted in e sight of e LORD? And Moses held his peace. SYMBOLIZES: LUCIFER - who offered strange fire. He challenged e LORD. AND HE WILL BE CONSUMED ON THE 8TH DAY, ON THE EARTH. THE ALTER of sacrifice was also to be sanctified for 7 days (v.36-37) Ezekiel 43:27 The alter in e courtyard of Ezekiel s Temple is considered consecrated and may be used for sacrifice on e 8 day. (Exo. 29:37). II Chronicles 29:17 The consecration of e priests took 8 days. Then e cleansing of The House (Temple) took 8 days. This in e days of King Hezekiah, after e evil King Ahaz had trashed and desecrated e Temple.

THE ASHES OF THE RED HEIFER When will we be cleansed from dea? At e 8 day. Numbers 19:11-20 Anyone who touched a dead body, or any part of a body or bone of a human, was unclean 7 days. He must be sprinkled wi e water of purification which contained e ashes of e red heifer, on e ird day and on e 7 day. The water of purification must be sprinkled by a clean man. At sundown of e 7 day he would en be clean. (Numbers 19:19) NOTE: The 8 day begins at sundown of e 7 day. SYMBOLISM: Yeshua is e red heifer - his blood (e scarlet of Passover) is cleansing when applied by Yeshua himself - e clean man - using e water (e Holy Spirit) and Hyssop (a symbol of cleansing - same was used at Passover). rd It is applied by Yeshua, upon mankind, e 3 day and e 7 day. 2 Peter 3:8... one day is wi e Lord as a ousand years, and a ousand years as one day. rd During e 3 millennium, from e first sin, e LORD entered into covenant wi Abraham. God will provide e lamb. All of e faiful ARE children of Abraham (Gal 3:29). It is interesting at e LORD commanded Abram to bring a Heifer, as one of e animals to be sacrificed for e covenant ceremony. (Gen 15:9) 430 years later - to e day - e Children of Israel left Egypt - on e 15 of Nissan - e Feast of Unleavened Bread. (Exo 12:41) This means at e LORD entered into covenant wi Abraham on e night following Passover. During e 7 millennium, Yeshua will sprinkle us (cleans us) while we spend e millennium wi Him, in e Faer s house. At e end of e 7 day - we will be clean of e harmful effects of our life on is ear, where we have all touched dea. The red Heifer was burned outside e camp wi cedar wood and hyssop and scarlet. The ashes were gaered and stored outside e camp in a clean place. Note: Joseph of Arimaea, and Nicodemus were not able to keep e Passover after touching e body of Christ. They would have kept e Passover 30 days later. As members of e ruling Sanhedrin is would have been a very serious ing.

WEEKLY - YEARLY - 7 YEAR - JUBILEE YEAR CYCLES WEEKLY CYCLE: Exodus 20:8-11 Remember e Sabba day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but e seven day is e Sabba of e LORD your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is wiin your gates. For in six days e LORD made e heavens and e ear, e sea, and all at is in em, and rested e seven day. Therefore e LORD blessed e Sabba day and hallowed it. NO MANNA fell on e ear on e 7 day - Sabba. (Exo 16:26) Yeshua was/is e bread from heaven. (John 6:31-33) Just so: There will be no presence of Christ on e ear during e 7 millennium. The ear must rest - and desolation IS REST. (2 Chron 36:21) 2 Chronicles 36:21 to fulfill e word of e LORD by e mou of Jeremiah, until e land had enjoyed her Sabbas. As long as she lay desolate she kept Sabba, to fulfill seventy years. ABOUT THE TIMING OF THE RESURRECTION: The Feast of First Fruits is ALWAYS e 8 Day, (which is also e first day of e week), which means at Pentecost also - ALWAYS fell on a Sunday (an 8 day). NOTE: 7 x7 = 49. Plus 1 = e 50 day - from e Firstfruits. This is e same number of years (7x7) until e Jubilee - e 50 year. Lev 23:15 You shall count for yourselves from e day after e Sabba, from e day at you brought e sheaf of e wave offering: seven Sabbas shall be completed. The Septuagint says e next day of e Sabbas - plural - which would be e first day of e Feast of Unleavened Bread (a Sabba) AND e 7 day Sabba. So - I agree wi e Sadducees for once - at e Feast of First Fruits was always on a Sunday - making it e 8 day. In e beginning e LORD finished His work in 6 days and rested e 7. Yeshua finished His work on e 6 day (Friday) - rested e 7 (Sabba) - and was raised e 8 day. (Gen. 2:1-2, Exo. 20:11, John 17:4, 19:30)

YEARLY CYCLE TH THE 8 DAY FOLLOWING - FEASTS OF TABERNACLES The last feast of e ceremonial year. In e 7 mon. The Feast of Ingaering - Of Tabernacles - Of boos. For 7 days ey were to dwell in boos (temporary shelters) to symbolize eir wilderness wandering, before entering e promised land - eir permanent home. Leviticus 23:36,39 In e 7 mon, following e7 day Feast of Tabernacles, e eigh day was to be an additional sabba of rest. (Numbers 29:35, Neh. 8:18, ). NOTE: On e 8 Day - ey were to keep a separate special feast day - ey NO LONGER DWELT IN BOOTHS! Symbolism: No longer living in temporary dwellings. To me - it is a symbol of our return to ear - not to live as pilgrims or wanderers. We will live in e City - Jerusalem. Yeshua will live in His permanent dwelling - Jerusalem. The wandering is finished!! EXAMPLE: (2 Chronicles 7:8-10) The alter of Solomon s Temple was dedicated for 7 days, en ey kept e 7 day Feast of Tabernacles, en e 8 Day Feast, en Solomon sent e people rd home on e 23 day of e mon. THE SEVEN YEAR CYCLE MIRRORS THE WEEKLY CYCLE Leviticus 25:2-7, Israel was to sow e land for six years. The seven year was to be a rest for e land. They were to again sow e land in e eigh year. (Lev. 25:22) Leviticus 25:4 But in e seven year ere shall be a sabba of solemn rest for e land, a sabba to e LORD. You shall neier sow your field nor prune your vineyard. NOTE: Noing is sown. No harvest. During e 7 year. Question: Will people be won to e kingdom during e 7 millennium? Answer: No. Question: When will ere be a harvest of souls for e kingdom? Answer: The 8 millennium. ( Sow e land in e eigh year. Lev 25:22)

TH THE JUBILEE - e 50 YEAR Begins on Yom Kippur in e 7 mon of e 7 year (e Sabbatical year). On e Day of At-one-ment. Hebrew servants free. (Lev 25:40) The land returns to original owner - Yeshua!! NOTE: The Jubilee year WAS e 50 year, but it was also e 8 year following e Sabbatical year of e last 7 year cycle! [6+1] [6+1] [6+1] [6+1] [6+1] [6+1] [6+1] +1 (Jubilee year) NOTE: 6+1+1=8!! It was a separate year - at e end of e 7 year cycle, but began 5 mons+20 days, BEFORE e end of e civil year and 12 days BEFORE e end of e ceremonial year (before 8 Day Feast). It was not e first year of anoer 7 year cycle, because e command was to work e land for six years - before e Sabbatical year. (Lev 25:3) They could NOT work e land during e Jubilee year, so e next six years of work had to begin after e Jubilee finished. THERE IS NO RECORD THAT ISRAEL EVER KEPT A JUBILEE YEAR. FULFILLMENT: The Sabbatical (day/year/millennium) will begin when Jesus returns. I believe at Yeshua will return on Yom Kippur. THE Jubilee will begin 1000 year later - also on Yom Kippur. Yeshua will take possession of e ear. We - wi Him will return to e ear. We will build Ezekiel s temple, and en celebrate e feast of Sakkot, which was not celebrated because e return of Christ cut short e year. NOTE: The first feast celebrated by e captives returning to e land from Babylon was Sakkot. (Ezra 3:4) Very interesting - a man named Joshua led out in building e alter! SERVANTS AND SLAVES Hebrew debt servant to anoer Hebrew. Free after 6 years service. (Exodus 21:2) (Jer 34:14) OR free at e Jubilee (Lev. 25:40), whichever came first. Not to be sold to anoer as a slave. FULFILLMENT: We will be free when Yeshua returns. Deuteronomy 15:12-14 If your broer, a Hebrew man, or a Hebrew woman, is sold to you and serves you six years, en in e seven year you shall let him go free from you. (Wi gifts for his years of service.)

Hebrew debt slave to a non-hebrew Can be redeemed for money by a near-kinsman (price determined by time to Jubilee) Is to be e Jubilee. (Lev 25:54) SYMBOLISM: Yeshua is OUR near-kinsman, who has paid e redemption price for us. Non-Hebrew slaves. NOT Jubilee. Can be kept as property - as permanent slaves. (Lev. 25:45-46) SYMBOLISM: Non-Israelites are never free. They will die as slaves of Satan and sin. THE PROPHECY OF HOSEA 6:1-2 Come, and let us return to e LORD; For He has torn, but He will heal us; He has stricken, but He will bind us up. After two days He will revive us; On e ird day He will raise us up, That we may live in His sight. After 2 days - Yeshua would revive his disciples. Two days from e first day IS THE THIRD DAY! If Friday was e first day, en Sunday was e ird day. (... one day is wi e Lord as a ousand years, and a ousand years as one day 2 Peter 3:8 ) The Passover Lamb was chosen on e 10 day - and sacrificed 4 days later, on e 14. Yeshua was chosen 4000 years before HIS dea. The sin of Adam took place on what would later be called Passover. In e cool of e day - e LORD made coverings for em - from e skin of an animal. The first blood was shed. (Wi e LORD a ousand years is as a day.) Two ousand years (2 days) from His dea - He will revive us On e ird day - He will lift us up. THIS IS THE RESURRECTION!! 4000 years from Adam s sin - Yeshua died as e Passover Lamb of God years (2 days) from His dea - He will return to raise us up. =6000 yrs from e Fall. YES - WE ARE ALMOST THERE!!
