5 Matt 6:33 But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. 34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. 5

6 You can pursue success as a destination, or you can experience success as a byproduct of something greater.. 6

7 Success as a destination can be self-seeking. 7

8 Will your success glorify God? 8

9 Will your success be the expense of someone else? 9

10 Will your win, cause someone else to lose? 10

11 Will your success be to your benefit and no one else? 11

12 Will your success keep you so preoccupied and distracted? 12

13 Will your success steal your heart from God, your family and other people? 13

14 Now significance is Success

15 He is concerned about a world that he gave His son to pay the price for our sins and bring us into right relationship with himself. 15

16 Act 26:16 But rise and stand upon your feet, for I have appeared to you for this purpose, to appoint you as a servant and witness to the things in which you have seen me and to those in which I will appear to you,17delivering you from your people and from the Gentiles to whom I am sending you 18 to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. 19 Therefore, O King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision, 16

17 God is more concerned about people turning from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God, than he is about you achieving some goal in this world that will not matter in the face of eternity. 17

18 SEEK FIRST the Kingdom of God that is seeking what is important to God's heart, and he will provide the power to fulfill what is in his heart and grant you as bonus things that are in your heart. 18

19 1 KINGS 3:3* 3 Solomon loved the LORD, walking in the statutes of David his father, only he sacrificed and made offerings at the high places. 4 And the king went to Gibeon to sacrifice there, for that was the great high place. Solomon used to offer a thousand burnt offerings on that altar. 5 At Gibeon the LORD appeared to Solomon in a dream by night, and God said, Ask what I shall give you. 6 And Solomon said, You have shown great and steadfast love to your servant David my father, because he walked before you in faithfulness, in righteousness, and in uprightness of heart toward you. And you have kept for him this great and steadfast love and have given him a son to sit on his throne this day. 19

20 1 KING 3:7-9 7 And now, O LORD my God, you have made your servant king in place of David my father, although I am but a little child. I do not know how to go out or come in. 8 And your servant is in the midst of your people whom you have chosen, a great people, too many to be numbered or counted for multitude. 9 Give your servant therefore an understanding mind to govern your people, that I may discern between good and evil, for who can govern this your great people? 20

21 1 KING 3: It pleased the Lord that Solomon had asked this. 11 And God said to him, Because you have asked this, and have not asked for yourself long life or riches or the life of your enemies, but have asked for yourself understanding to discern what is right, 12 behold, I now do according to your word. Behold, I give you a wise and discerning mind, so that none of you has been before you and none like you shall arise after you. 13 I give you also what you have not asked, both riches and honor, so that no other king shall compare with you, all your days. 14 And if you will walk in my ways, keeping my statutes and my commandments, as your father 21 David walked, then I will lengthen your days.

22 Solomon could have asked for anything. But his motive and desires were concerned about the advancement of God s cause, the people of Israel. 22

23 You can get anything in life that you want, by helping enough people get what they want. Zig Ziglar 23

24 The key to significance is a true motive and desire to advance the cause of Christ in the earth, through living out your purpose for being in this world. 24
