Please send all comments, corrections, and suggestions to anne@anneelliott.com before February 15, I am noticing that using the Bible to learn grammar is not easy! I used to think that students should get almost 100% of their grammar lessons correct, but I m finding that this is a tough standard when using the complicated wording of the Bible. If your student needs more work to understand grammar, to memorize prepositions, to find verbs, or to identify sentence patterns, you may wish to assign these Extra Practice lessons. However, these are not easy. If you are looking for 100% accuracy in the normal lessons, you should probably only reasonably expect 50-75% accuracy in these extra practice lessons. Honestly, I think you ll see the most progress if you ll put the answer key in front of you, then sit next to your child and do these lessons together. Laugh together be curious together and be amazed at the wisdom and complexity that the Bible reveals about God Himself. ~Anne PAGE 3 Foundations of Grammar 2011 Anne Elliott
