The flat top of the rock has a rhomboid shape, elongated from north to south. Its height is 440 above the Dead Sea (50 m above sea level), and it is isolated from its surroundings by deep gorges on all sides. This position forms a natural fortification, and the place is natural to build a fortress. The access in ancient times (as Josephus describes) was by a steep "Snake Path" from the east (from the Dead Sea), "the White Rock" from the west, and two approaches from north and south, all of them rather difficult to climb. Today there is an easy 10-minute ascent from the west, and the cable-car from the east. The "Snake Path" is still open for tourists wishing to use this ancient trail. The 80 s brought about a shift in attitude and living in Tel Aviv-Jaffa once again became the objective of the young, sophisticated and educated generation. Over the next decades, there was massive renovation and development throughout Tel Aviv-Jaffa, giving the city a makeover whose finishing touches are still being improved upon. Tel Aviv-Jaffa of today has developed a unique style combining the best of both a relaxed Mediterranean seaside town with an edgy urban vibe. Tel Aviv's are passionate about their city and are proud to live in a center of commerce, culture, style and entertainment. With leafy boulevards filled with people at all hours, a thriving business sector, countless charming cafes and restaurants, a beautiful beachfront and rich cultural offerings, 100 years later, the vision of the city s founders has come alive. Tour Tel Aviv - the business and the cultural center of Israel. Visit famous Dizengoff street Continue to Rabin Square, named after the assassinated Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin Israeli society. Continue to Rothschild Boulevard to explore a Bauhaus tour. Beginning at Habima Theater at the top of Rothschild Blvd, work your way down the blvd and then move onto Yehuda Halevi St, which should bring you directly to Neve Tzedek. Neve Tezedek certainly one of the nicest neighborhoods in Tel Aviv. It offers a variety of exciting views and activities. Start off at the Suzanne Dellal Center and walk around one of Tel Aviv's nicest squares. If time permits, visit the colorful market of Tel Aviv "HaCarmel Market", and the famous colorful and amazing Flee Market in Jaffa. Tel Aviv Port The port of Tel Aviv is a flourishing area with new restaurants opening all the time, a multitude of events and beautiful views. The focal point of the port is a relatively small area packed with seaside restaurants, bars, café's and nightlife.

Here we will visit the Grotto of the Annunciation and the Church of St. Joseph. These churches are located over the traditional site where Mary and Joseph lived. We will also visit the site of the Synagogue of Nazareth where Jesus preached his first sermon, and stop at the ancient City Well where it is believed, the Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary. From there we will proceed to Caper Nahum, located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee and consider the center on Jesus' ministry. It was here where Jesus gathered his first disciples, walked on the water, preached and performed many of his miracles, see the ruins of an ancient synagogue from the 5th century and the house of St. Peter. Friday, October 28 th Optional trip to Jerusalem (Minimum number required: 20 People) We begin our day with a spectacular view of the 4000-year old city of Jerusalem from Mount of Olives. Thereafter, continue to the Church of All Nations and Rock of the Agony; enter the Old City via the Dung Gate, see the holiest site in Jerusalem - the Western (Wailing) Wall. View the Temple Mount to view the third holiest shrine of Islam the golden Dome of the Rock from where Mohammed ascended to heaven, and the Al Aksa mosque. Follow Via Dolorosa (Way of Sorrows), tracing footsteps of Jesus after he was condemned to death and taken for execution, we reaching the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, where Christians believe Jesus was crucified, buried and resurrected.

It is customary in Israel to pay gratuity of 12 15% for personal services rendered. Please note the following when booking your International Flights: The meeting starts at the Dead Sea. Your flight will arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport outside Tel Aviv. Transfer arrangements will be arranged from the airport to the Dead Sea, approximately 2 hours drive. This transfer will be organized for October 23 rd only and for groups of 6-10 people or more each time, during all day. If several participants will arrive on other days, transportation to Dead Sea Resort will be provided according to a minimal number of people and the plane confirmed arrival time. Visit Masada national park, UNESCO World heritage site- the mountain that became a symbol of determination and heroism. Masada, the ancient fortress built by King Herod the Great, a top, a lofty natural plateau, overlooking the Dead Sea. The site preserves a grand first century Roman villa, the remains of the most complete Roman Siege system in the world, and tells the story of the tragic events leading to the last chapter of the great revolt of the Jews against the Romans.
