Balance of the day is at leisure to rest, relax and acclimate to your new time zone. Perhaps, walk along the bustling beachfront promenade, stop at a café and just people-watch! Overnight: Tel Aviv, Israel Meals: Hotel Dinner Thursday, January 17th - Caesarea, Nazareth Village, Sepphoris, Tzipori Begin the day with a drive north along the crystal-blue waters of the Mediterranean coast to ancient Caesarea. You will visit the Church of the Nativity, commemorating the birthplace of Jesus Christ, with many restoration projects instituted throughout the years. Presently the facade of the Church of the Nativity is encircled by the high walls of the three convents: the Franciscan on the northeast side, and the Greek Orthodox and the Armenian Orthodox on the southeast side. A shopping stop for local souvenirs and olive wood handicrafts, a principal source of local income, is included in the tour. Thursday, January 24, Depart Israel After checking out of the hotel before noon, we will drive to Jaffa Port with its fascinating Arab heritage. Perhaps, visit some contemporary art galleries, artisan boutiques and the dynamic Sarona Market complex, heart of Israel's culinary art scene. We will have a guided introduction of Jaffa, and some free time before meeting for one final dinner at a local restaurant.
