Overnight: Flight DAY TWO MONDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2016 ARRIVAL 4:20 p.m. Arrive at Ben Gurion International Airport. Welcome by our representative and assistance with arrival formalities. Group transfer to Tel Aviv, known as the city that never sleeps, with its centers of culture, recreation and national history, great beaches and fine stores. Check into the hotel with time to rest and freshen up before dinner. Welcome dinner at the hotel and orientation to the program. Enjoy a Free Evening in Tel Aviv for an opportunity to: Stroll down Rothschild Boulevard, with its many cafés, restaurants, and bars. Experience Tel Aviv Port, with its restaurants and charming boardwalk. Stroll down the Tel Aviv Beach Promenade. Overnight: Tel Aviv DAY THREE TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 29, 2016 THE STILL SMALL VOICE OF THE LAND Breakfast at the hotel, followed by check-out. Depart Tel Aviv, driving northwards along the coastal plain to the ancient city of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caeasar and considered the traditional site of Paul's imprisonment before his trial in Rome and the home of the first gentile believer, Cornelius and of Philip the evangelist; the theatre, aqueducts and Hippodrome serve as a backdrop for the events chronicled in the Book of Acts. Visit Megiddo in the Jezreel Valley, one of Israel's most famous Biblical sites, with its evocative archaeological remains, ancient water system, known as battlefield of the nations, traditionally identified as Armageddon. Visit Nazareth and walk through the colorful marketplace, with a stop for lunch on own. Walk to the Church of the Annunciation and the ancient Nazareth Synagogue. Stop at Mt. Precipice for a grand view of the Jezreel Valley (and its many Biblical stories) and of Jesus' own home town. Drive to the kibbutz hotel in the Lower Galilee for check-in. Overnight: Galilee DAY FOUR WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 30, 2016 IN HIS FOOTSTEPS Drive to the Sea of Galilee and explore the new findings in the ancient town of Magdala. View the spectacular 1st-century AD boat, similar to those used by the disciples. (Matt , Luke 8, 2) Enjoy a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee in a replica of an ancient fishing vessel, much like those used in the time of Jesus. Imagine what it was like as you walk in the footsteps of Jesus, as we visit some of the Christian holy sites around the Sea of Galilee, including: Tabgha, traditional site of the Miracle of the Loaves and Fishes; the modern church preserves fine 5th-century mosaics. Capernaum, on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, the base of Jesus' Galilean ministry, with its remains of an ancient synagogue. The Mount of Beatitudes, traditional site of Jesus' Sermon on the Mount,' overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Lunch on own en route and continue with visits to: Korazim, the remains of a 2,000-year-old Jewish community, overlooking the Sea of Galilee. Bethsaida, the hometown of some of the disciples and a place of miracles (Mark 8:22; Luke 9:10). Kursi in the Land of the Gadarenes where Jesus cast out demons into a herd of pigs that went crashing off a steep place into the lake (Matt. 8:28-34; Mark 5:1-17; Luke 8:26-37). Visit the Yardenit Baptismal Site on the Jordan River. Return to the kibbutz hotel.

5 Overnight: Galilee DAY FIVE THURSDAY, DECEMBER 1, 2016 FULFILLING HIS PROMISE Visit Caesarea Philippi (Banias), the site where Jesus revealed his mission to Peter and the other disciples. Visit the Valley of Tears on the Golan Heights, site of one of Israel's fiercest tank battles during the Yom Kippur War, and learn about the battle of the 77th Battalion - OZ77. Visit a Druze village for a window into the unique world of the Israeli Druze community, with lunch on your own. Get into it; What does it feel like (then and now)? Meet with local Israelis working in the Golan today who will guide you while you try your hand (or feet) in a Wine Press or an Olive Press. Feel the land, touch the herbs and find yourself transported back to the world in which Jesus lived. View the remains of the Second Temple-period town of Gamla on the Golan Heights, site of one of the fiercest battles fought against the Romans during the Great Revolt. Return to the kibbutz for dinner. Making Sense of It All: Use this time to gather your thoughts, pray and reflect on your experiences. Overnight: Galilee DAY SIX FRIDAY, DECEMBER 2, 2016 DRIVING THE RIFT Check out, depart the kibbutz and travel south, stopping en route at Beit Shean, (1 Sam. 31, 8-31) - The Philistines killed King Saul and his three sons in battle and hung them on the walls of Beit Shean. Drive south via the Jordan Valley, stopping for lunch on own. Get a close view of Jordan and visit Kasser Al Yahud, the narrow part of the Jordan River, and stand at the spot traditionally believed as the place of where the baptism of Jesus took place, and the place where the Israelites crossed over the Jordan River entering Israel. View Jericho, one of the world's oldest cities; archeological excavations have shown that civilization existed in Jericho from very ancient times; here Jesus healed blind Bartimaeus and his companion (Matt. 20, 29-34) Zacchaeus. Jesus was tempted by Satan in the Judean wilderness. Ascend to the holy city of Jerusalem, entering the city from the east and stopping for a panoramic view of the city from Mt. Scopus. Continue to the hotel for check-in. DAY SEVEN SATURDAY, DECEMBER 3, 2016 ON HIS PATH Good Morning Jerusalem: Set your eyes on the city of Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives. Descend to Gethsemane and spend time for prayer and worship in the olive grove, where Jesus prayed prior to his arrest and crucifixion. Enter the Old City through St. Stephen's Gate, and visit the Pools of Bethesda, where Jesus told the lame man to take up his mat and walk. Visit Ecce Homo/Antonia Fortress, where it is believed the site of Jesus' trial by Pontius Pilate. Lunch on own in the Old City. Continue along the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher, traditional site of the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. Make your way outside of the Old City to the Garden Tomb for a special communion service. Return to the hotel for dinner. Free time in the Mamilla pedestrian arcade, a very contemporary shopping area with a whiff of the past, located outside the Jaffa Gate of the Old City. DAY EIGHT SUNDAY, DECEMBER 4, 2016 THE LAYERS OF JERUSALEM Watchman on the Walls, These words, spoken by God to Isaiah, may resonate loudly as you walk on the walls of the Old City of Jerusalem. Guided visit to Mt. Zion, including the Upper Room, where

Stroll along the Ben-Yehuda Street and Nachalat Shiva pedestrian malls, joining the many Israelis out on the town. DAY NINE MONDAY, DECEMBER 5, 2016 MASADA & THE DEAD SEA BASIN Depart Jerusalem and descend to the Dead Sea Basin. Visit Qumran, a settlement of the 1st century Jewish sect known as the Essenes and site of the discovery of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Stop for an overview of Ein Gedi, where David hid from King Saul. Lunch on own at the base of Masada. Ascend by cable-car to visit Masada, Herod's mountain palace and site of the Jewish Zealots' last stand against the Roman legionnaires. Explore the rich archaeological remains from the Roman period. Experience the weightlessness of the Dead Sea as you float in its waters. Return to Jerusalem. Hustle & Bustle Around the Clock: Enjoy the bars, restaurants and tastes of Jerusalem at night, while walking through the Machaneh Yehuda open-air market. DAY TEN TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2016 CREATING MEMORIES Visit the city of Bethlehem, the traditional birthplace of Jesus. Experience the historical city to with a visit to the Milk Grotto, the hiding place of Jesus's family, and a walk through the Old city to the Church of the Nativity. Lunch on your own, en route. Visit the Yad Vashem complex, the Jewish National Memorial to the six million Jewish victims of the Holocaust, including: The Avenue of the Righteous The Historical Museum The Children's Memorial A concluding Memorial Service
