For if the dead are not raised, not even Christ has been raised; and if Christ has not been raised, your faith is worthless; you are still in your sins. (1 Cor 15:16-17) But now Christ has been raised from the dead, the first fruits of those who are asleep.. (1 Cor 15:20)
So, we are celebrating Rosh Chodesh, which is of in itself, an expression of FIRSTFRUITS Nisan is the FIRST month of the Lord s redemptive calendar The FIRST month is mentioned 30 times in scripture exceeding every other month We are celebrating on the FIRST day of the week The Tribe of Judah is the associated tribe for this month JUDAH ALWAYS GOES FIRST (Num 10:14) For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. But each in his own order: Christ the FIRSTFRUITS, (1 Cor 15:22-23(a) He chose to give us birth through the word of truth, that we might be a kind of FIRSTFRUITS of all he created. (James 1:18)
The FIRST of all the FIRST FRUITS of every thing, and every offering of everything, of all your offerings, shall be for the priest: you shall also give to the priests the FIRST of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on your house. (Ezek 44:30) If the FIRST FRUIT is holy, so is the lump. If the root is holy, so are the branches.(rom 11:16)
5778/2018: A Year to Break Captivity and Come into a New Identity! ( Post from Chuck Pierce/Thursday Feb 1, 2018) Dear Focused Ones: We are living in one of the most incredible and historic junctures in the history of mankind. I say that with complete confidence and, I believe, accuracy. In this year of eight (8), 5778 or 2018, we must remember and contextualize everything within the understanding that we are entering a New Beginning. All eights (8 s) are linked with some new beginning. I love Isaiah 43:18-19 which says: Stop dwelling on past events and brooding over times gone by! I am doing something NEW! It s springing up can t you see it? I am making a road in the desert, rivers in the wasteland. (CJB)
5778/2018: A Year to Break Captivity and Come into a New Identity! ( Post from Chuck Pierce/Thursday Feb 1, 2018) This will be a year of FIRSTS, New Beginnings, and Kingdom Demonstration. No matter how established you are, there will be new beginnings in your life, ministry, and spheres of authority. We, the Body of Christ, must manifest who we are and Who we represent! God has a FIRST ORDER that will be required of His people this year. The Spirit of God is drawing out a FIRST ORDER that you have never seen for yourself or the mission that you are called to complete.
The next 3 months are: Nisan, Iyar, and Sivan, which correspond to the tribes of: JUDAH ISSACHAR ZEBULUN The 1st month of Nisan officially begins the SPRING Season the 4 tribes, prophetically corresponding to the 4 points of the compass and the 4 seasons of the year To everything there is a season, A time for every purpose under heaven (Eccl 3:1) PURPOSE: chêphets, khay'-fets; A U T U M N pleasure; desire We ve now entered into a new Prophetic SEASON Scripture will reveal to us, what the Lord is wanting to accomplish during this season and His PURPOSES (Pleasure/Desire) W I N T E R S U M M E R S P R I N G

She called to her husband, and said, Please send me one of the servants, and one of the donkeys, that I may run to the man of God, and come again. He said, Why would you want go to him today? It is not a new moon or a Sabbath. (2 Kings 4:22-23) It s imperative that we understand what the Lord is saying in every season but, it s particularly critical now. There s a daily onslaught of world events, both good and evil how do we navigate through all the changes, shifts and shakings? Personal and Corporate For with you is the spring of life. In your light shall we see light. (Psalm 36:9) Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. (Rev 2:17(a)) In Researching all the scriptures that used the FIRST MONTH (30 in all) I found 12 major themes, that will help direct our steps this month and beyond: 1. Passover/Redemptive timing 7. Inheriting the Promises/Heart 2. Temple Complete and in Order Preparation 3. Starting Afresh/Leaving the Past 8. Victory Over the Enemy Behind 9. Restoration/Intimacy 4. Clear Communications from Heaven 10. Sanctification 5. Deliverance 11. Angelic Encounters 6. Divine Protection 12. The Blessing & Favor of the Lord
12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 1. Passover/Redemptive timing: This month is to be for you the first month, the first month of your year. (Exodus 12:2) Therefore watch carefully how you walk, not as unwise, but as wise; redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Therefore don t be foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is. (Eph 5:15-17) Purge out the old yeast, that you may be a new lump, even as you are unleavened. For indeed Christ, our Passover, has been sacrificed in our place. Therefore let us keep the feast, (1 Cor 5:7-8(a)) We redeem the time, when we enter into God s redemptive calendar Passover itself is a FIRST FRUITS offering, being the 1 st appointment of the Shalosh Regalim

12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 2. Temple Complete and In Order In the FIRST month in the second year, on the FIRST day of the month, the tabernacle was raised up. (Exodus 40:17) Now the children of Israel after their number, the heads of fathers households and the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and their officers who served the king, in any matter of the divisions which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year of every division were twenty-four thousand. Over the first division for the FIRST month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his division were twenty-four thousand. He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the FIRST month. (1 Chron 27:1-3)
12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 2. Temple Complete and In Order As we just completed the last month of God s Redemptive Calendar, and now we begin the cycle again, there s a sense that what the Lord wanted to complete and bring into Kingdom order (in this last season) needs to be finalized so that we can move on He was of the children of Perez, the chief of all the captains of the army for the FIRST month (1 Chron 27:3) PEREZ: Perets, peh'-rets; An eruption, invasion, violence a bursting forth There are times when it s necessary to be spiritually VIOLENT in order to break through strongholds in our lives, so that we can get our TEMPLES in order
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. 17 3. Starting Afresh/Leaving the Past Behind But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. (Phil 3:13(b)-14) 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH In the first month the whole Israelite community arrived at the Desert of Zin, and they stayed at Kadesh. There Miriam died and was buried. (Numbers 20:1) We can t do anything about the past, except learn from what we ve experienced and move on Testimony (dream) Though your beginning was small, yet your latter end would greatly increase. (Job 8:7)

Clear Communications from Heaven 10. Sanctification 5. Deliverance 11. Angelic Encounters 6. Divine Protection 12. The Blessing & Favor of the Lord
12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 4. Clear Communications from Heaven The Lord spoke to Moses in the Desert of Sinai in the FIRST month of the second year after they came out of Egypt. (Numbers 9:1) Because of all the shifting and shaking we need to hear clearly from Heaven Praying In the Spirit is probably one of the best ways to hear For God does speak now one way, now another though no one perceives it.. (Job 33:14) In the twenty-seventh year, in the FIRST month on the first day, the word of the Lord came to me:. (Ezek 29:17) Bottom Line: we need to embrace every form of communication from heaven! Anyone who speaks in a tongue edifies themselves, (1 Cor 14:4(a))

12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH DELIVERANCE is the Major Theme of this month All things are lawful for me, but not all things are expedient. All things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of anything. (1 Cor 6:12) 5. Deliverance The Israelites set out from Rameses on the fifteenth day of the FIRST month, the day after the Passover. They marched out defiantly in full view of all the Egyptians (Num 33:3) I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt so that you would no longer be slaves to the Egyptians; I broke the bars of your yoke and enabled you to walk with heads held high. (Lev 26:13)
5. Deliverance Keith Krell Freedom From Slavery 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH One of the most famous chimpanzees of all time is one by the name of Washoe. Some soldiers picked up Washoe in West Africa. In 1966 she was adopted by two doctors who raised her almost like a child. In 1970, however, she was turned over to another pair of doctors and taken to the University of Oklahoma. Here she went through rigorous training to become the first non-human to learn American Sign Language. She learned over 140 signs! It was discovered, however, that she was just mimicking all that she had been taught. After several years the staff decided that she was able to try to conceptualize. She is going to say what is on her heart! the staff declared. In her safe and secure cage, well taken care of, Washoe said the first three words of her own initiative: LET ME OUT!!! She signed these words several times.
Even in animals, there is a desire for freedom. Given the chance most animals would leave safety for the chance for freedom. Humans long for freedom as well. We yearn to enjoy life, free from guilt and despair. He goes on to say: We want to live significant lives. Moreover, God has created us for freedom it is our intended destiny. Yet the great Christian paradox is that we are freed from the slavery of sin to become slaves to God. We could put it like this: True freedom is slavery to Christ.

Clear Communications from Heaven 10. Sanctification 5. Deliverance 11. Angelic Encounters 6. Divine Protection 12. The Blessing & Favor of the Lord
12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 6. Divine Protection Testimony Carmen home alone Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4) On the twelfth day of the FIRST month we set out from the Ahava Canal to go to Jerusalem. The hand of our God was on us, and he protected us from enemies and bandits along the way. (Ezra 8:31)
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. 28 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 7. Inheriting the Promises/Heart Preparation The people came up out of the Jordan on the tenth day of the FIRST month, and encamped in Gilgal, on the east border of Jericho. (Josh 4:19) Before the conquest of the Promised Land began there was a time of Sanctification (separation for a holy purpose) They were also obedient to the Lord s timing (Passover), and to His covenant (Circumcision) Joshua said to the people, Sanctify yourselves; for tomorrow Yahweh will do wonders among you. (Josh 3:5) Prior to crossing the Jordan (the signs and wonders), the Lord had the people prepare their hearts It is no different for us sanctification is a continuous process that requires obedience to God s timing and to His commandments
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the assemblies. 30 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH These are those who went 8. Victory Over the Enemy over the Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all its banks; and they put to flight all who lived in the valleys, both toward the east and toward the west. (1 Chron 12:15) This Victory verse comes after a lengthy description of David s mighty men But, they we re not Mighty until they came under David s Apostolic leadership

Clear Communications from Heaven 10. Sanctification 5. Deliverance 11. Angelic Encounters 6. Divine Protection 12. The Blessing & Favor of the Lord
9. Restoration/Intimacy 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of Yahweh s house, and repaired them. (2 Chron 29:3) This is the beginning of Hezekiah s reign, and He begins by REPAIRING the Door s of the Lord s House Doors allow things to come in and to go out what are the condition of your doors? what needs to be restored? Jesus is the WORD MADE FLESH as we meditate on His Word, we are meditating on HIM He is the DOOR and the more intimate we are with Him, the safer our DOORS will be He ll keep them restored If we disconnect from the Word, then we disconnect from the life source that flows from Jesus. He is a Healthy, Living Vine, and we as the branches, must stay connected to stay healthy.

10. Sanctification 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of Yahweh; and they sanctified Yahweh s house in eight days: and on the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end. (2 Chron 29:3) qâdash, kaw-dash ; to consecrate, sanctify, prepare, dedicate, be hallowed, be holy, be sanctified, be separate and by the first day of the first month they finished dealing with all the men who had married foreign women. (Ezra 10:17) In this process of Sanctification and Restoration, the first thing Hezekiah said to the Priests was this: Listen to me, you Levites! Now sanctify yourselves, and sanctify Yahweh s house, the God of your fathers, and carry out the filthiness out of the holy place. (2 Chron 29:5) What a perfect older covenant picture of what the Lord wants us to do in this season

11.Angelic Encounters 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH On the twenty-fourth day of the first month, as I was standing on the bank of the great river, the Tigris (Dan 10:4) As we re about to read, Daniel wasn t standing for long: I looked up and there before me was a man dressed in linen, with a belt of fine gold from Uphaz around his waist. His body was like topaz, his face like lightning, his eyes like flaming torches, his arms and legs like the gleam of burnished bronze, and his voice like the sound of a multitude. Then I heard him speaking, and as I listened to him, I fell into a deep sleep, my face to the ground. (Dan 10:5-6,9) We are in a season of ever-increasing angelic activity; notice how this relates to Passover: (Acts 12:3,4) When he (Herod) saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This was during the days of unleavened bread. When he had arrested him, he put him in prison
11.Angelic Encounters 12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH We are in a season of ever-increasing angelic activity; notice how this relates to Passover: (Acts 12:3,4,7) When he (Herod) saw that it pleased the Jews, he proceeded to seize Peter also. This was during the days of unleavened bread. When he had arrested him, he put him in prison and delivered him to four squads of four soldiers each to guard him, intending to bring him out to the people after the Passover. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood by him, and a light shone in the cell. He struck Peter on the side, and woke him up, saying, Stand up quickly! His chains fell off from his hands. They said to her, (Rhoda) You are crazy! But she insisted that it was so. They said, It is his angel.

Clear Communications from Heaven 10. Sanctification 5. Deliverance 11. Angelic Encounters 6. Divine Protection 12. The Blessing & Favor of the Lord
12 major themes found in the FIRST MONTH 12.The Blessing & Favor of the Lord Prophetically, this is one of the most exciting aspects of this Month; (Joel 2:23) Be glad then, you children of Zion, And rejoice in the Lord your God; For He has given you the former rain faithfully, And He will cause the rain to come down for you The former rain, And the latter rain in the first month. (Prov 16:15) In the light of the king s face is life. His favor is like a cloud of the spring rain.
Summary How to activate the Promises of Nisan In this month, a Firstfruit offering (Barley) was waved before the Lord as you give your offering, wave it before the Lord declaring: The fullness of my harvest is being secured and every seed I sow will prosper in new ways! As our Passover month, we are standing at the gate of our Promised Land, preparing to enter a new season of inheritance allow the Lord to deliver you from every hindrance that would keep you from entering your place of fulfillment The tribe of Judah was the apostolic, warring tribe Judah means Praise this is a Key TIME to PRAISE! War for your Covenant Promises, and declare the Blood of Yeshua has set you FREE!
Summary How to activate the Promises of Nisan Remember, because Nisan is a Firstfruits month, then it sets the course for your future As a month of Redemption the price has been paid for each one of us, by the blood of the Lamb of God, every prison door is unlocked. (Make a list of your prison doors and declare that you are opening and passing through each one) Again, as we learned through scripture, Nisan is the month of the beginning of miracles - have FAITH even for the seemingly impossible Be very careful what comes out of your mouth negative confessions in this month will create issues for the rest of the year! Deliverance is progressive, THANK THE LORD FOR DELIVERANCE OUT OF THE BONDAGE OF SIN, DISEASE AND DEATH!
Summary How to activate the Promises of Nisan Just as the Israelites took a First Step when they left Egypt step forth in strength and consider where the Lord is leading you in the coming year. This is the time to carefully evaluate your life and consider where you are positioned now is the time to set things right for the coming season. Ask the Lord to give you strategies to rightly align in these times!
If you give the best you have at these celebrations every month the Lord will realign your desires each month In other words, give God the best you have and He will sanctify your desires!
