4 4 ACKNOWLEDGEMENT My respected parents, family members and numerous friends and colleagues have liberally offered their sincere and dedicated cooperation, advice and prayers in the preparation of Min-al-Qur-aan. But that particular person who drew my attention to the basic concept of Min-al-Qur-aan for the first time and who brought home its urgency and its potential role and who kept on inspiring me during long drawn out years of its formulation and sequencing, he is MUHAMMAD AKRAM ZIA, a friend and colleague of mine. I have yet to mention two more friends who have laboured hard to make this work acceptable; they are Muahammad Amin for typing, and Mian Ghulam Mustafa Saleemi for proof reading and refining write up. I am grateful to all of them with my utmost sincerity and I pray for their best herein as well as hereafter.

5 5 ΠP R E F A C E Qur-aan is the Divine text book for all the people. Mankind has yet to grow to its zenith by developing its potentials and making use of its nearly infinite authority in the light of Quran. It has yet to fulfil the pupose of its creation by establishing a strong universal, fair, just caring, loving, and respecting socio-economic-political system on this globe. It is in view of these noble targets that the responsibility of spreading the message of Quraan in a scientific manner to every corner of this world lies on each and every one of us. Min-al-Qur-aan is a unique series of books compiled according to the latest scientific principles of effective communication of teaching Quraan to the teaming millions of children and youngsters. These are 13 volumes starting from Prep to Pre-Univ. class. The message of Qur-aan has been presented in Qur-aan's own words. The beauty and captivating qualities of divine language of Quraan have been retained as such. The most peculiar feature of these volumes is perhaps that the divine message has been selected, sequenced and organized according to natural temperament, intellectual level, environmental awareness, level of knowledge and specific needs of the youth. The underlying idea is that the divine message may reach the souls and minds of the youth with maximum ease and comfort in minimum time. The sole purpose of this effort is that both youth as well as grown ups may learn this, vital message with smiling faces and having greatest of liking and enjoyment. It is only through this approach that Qur-aan will ultimately perform its long awaited miracle of triggering the awakening process of immense hidden dynamic forces of mankind. The Quraan will thus not only keep him on right track during one's strenuous and complicated struggle of life but will no doubt lead such person ahead of all in no time. Min-al-Qur-aan will be printed in colour. Appropriate pictures, sketches, cartoons and maps are being provided for most components of the divine message for enhancing, accelerating and facilitating their understanding and increasing their effectiveness. Moreover, it is planned to be translated in all modern languages of the world in order to make it easy, accessible and understandable to each and every one on this globe. In order to further facilitate the learning of Qur-aan by western Muslims in particular, it is proposed to bring all the European languages in comformity and in unison to Qur-aanic language by printing the pronounciation and word for word meaning of Qur-aanic words in mirror reflection of their normal writing i.e. from right to left. In this way Qur-aanic words(text), their pronounciation and their word for word meaning will march hand in hand in unison to each other and the reader will learn and imbibe the message and its spirit in a very natural and easy way. In the end all readers are requested to kindly convey their valuable suggestions and share their experiences for making Min-al-Qur-aan more attractive and effective and progamatic. May Allah accept this effort. Dr. Masood A.A. Quraishi December 12, 2008 F o r m e r l y P r o f e s s o r University of Agriculture, Faisalabad. 8 8 [255:2] Efforts be made to pass on the following concepts about Allah Almighty. Loving Allah is symbolically associated with heights and heavens although He is everywhere. He is traditionally described as light or "Noor" although He is not like any light-like thing that we know. The heavens the earth and every thing in between came into being and exist because of Him/His Noor/Amr Human beings also exist because of His support or Noor. He has a cubical house on this earth in the city of Makka which is made of ordinary grey stones. He says it is His house but He does not live in it. It is His sacred physical symbol which we can see and touch. There is a black stone embeded in one corner. It is considered as if it is His hand. It is also very sacred. It is generally kissed because of respect and love for it as being symbolic representative of hand of Allah.

9 9 äö #Ö]ø [255:2] ALLAHU LOVING ALLAH Most loving Allah is highest over all heavens, biggest over all mountains, strongest over all strongs, all making, ever living, light like but not our light. He cannot be seen. LOVING ALLAH CREATED EVERY THING Ðø øìø pû ô Ö$ ]ø [1:96] KHA-LA-QA WHO CREATED ALLA-ZEE HE IS THAT It is He Allah alone Who has created every thing. These entities are not visionary or conceptual. These are most correct, most beautiful and most balanced physical realities. There is a supereme purpose of their creation that is to serve human beings and to render maximum benefits to them so that they in turn may serve Allah Almighty. It may be recalled that srving Allah is in man's own interest. No one can escape or avoid this return and his presence. There is no loope hole and there is no exception. The only option is that we should always do good deeds and prepare ourselves for our return and our explanation. He used to make purchases from the market. He received injuries and got sick. He felt cold as well as heat. He was happy as well as in grief at various occasions. Sayyidina Muhammad (Peace be upon him) was Allah's last messenger. He used to receive Allah's message. He was always the first to follow Allah's guidance most faithfully. He would then pass on Allah's guidance to other people truthfully. All messengers are always completely truthful and fully trustworthy.
