1 Praying Thru Ramadan 2017, on: 2017/5/26 8:03 Brothers and Sisters, Today is the first day of Ramadan. This is the start of the fast where Muslims will seek their god. Let our prayers be that they seek the true and living God. Lord willing I will be sending out a prayer each day. These prayer points will be taken from the calendar that Open Door s has prepared to pray through Ramadan. These prayer points will also encompass the persecuted Church in Islamic Na tions. I pray these daily prayer points will help focus your prayers on the harvest of Muslim souls. But should you choose to us e another prayer guide or just a pray on your own. During this month of Ramadan please pray that Muslims will find savi ng faith and life in the Lord Jesus Christ. Day 1 Pray for believers who are battling fear at the thought of the Islamic extremists throughout their region. Pray they gladly use their life and death to glorify God. Pray that God would lead them to individuals who can help them, and pray for them to be a witness. Eritrea has been called the North Korea of Africa. Believers there are imprisoned in shipping containers and holes in the ground. Many of them have been imprisoned for years.  Yet they still refuse to recant their faith in Christ. Please keep our brothers and sisters in Eritrea in your prayers.  Please pray they stay hidden in Christ. Please continue to call out for the salvation of Muslims souls during this month of Ramadan. The recent violence by jiha dists in Egypt and the Philippines testify of hearts that are still in the domain of darkness. Please pray that they will be tr ansferred from the kingdom of darkness into the kingdom of His beloved Son. Please pray for comfort of those who have lost a loved ones in the recent violence in the Philippines and Egypt. Pray tha t they will know the abundant comfort of Christ. Pray for opportunities for them to share their faith. Please pray that these saints will be wise as serpents and innocent as doves. Please pray that they will have wisdom in knowing how to share their faith in Jesus. Pray for peace and courage for these secret believers. Pray also for their continual protection as ISIS has declared a jihad against Chriatians during Ramadan. Pray that God would keep them safe during their meetings, and for authorities not to notice the gathering. Pray protection over discipling teams that train church leaders in underground churches in Islamic lands. Please pray that much fruit will come from the preaching of the gospel during this time of Ramadan. Re: Day 9... As they know they could face humiliation or death if found out, pray that their hope would be deeply rooted in Christ. Pray that these Believers will know that Jesus in them is the hope of glory. We are destroying speculations and every lofty thing raised up aga inst the knowledge of God, and we are taking every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. Pray for the salvation of the jihadists. Pray that God will change hearts of hate to hearts of love. Pray that God will release dteams and visions among the Muslems. Pray for God's comfort to be upon those impacted by the jihad attacks in London and the Pbillipines. Though there is some confusion as to win the actual night of power is during the 2017 Ramadan. Consensus seems to be that tonight will be the night of power for ma ny Muslims seeking their god. Because of this I feel led to convene a special Persecution Watch call tonight. Asking those who may, to come and join me in calling out for Muslim salvations during this night as they are seeking their god. Below is an article encouraging u s to pray for Muslims during thus special night. Also there will be suggested prayer points that follow the article and our c all information. â â â â â â â Why should Christians pray during Ramadan? The Night of Power, or Laylat al-qadr, is the night during Ramadan that Muslims believe salvation can be granted. It's p owerful because it is believed to be the night the Quran was first revealed to Mohammad. It is typical to pray and fast thr ough the night, some Muslims even stay at the mosque until morning to pray. It is common to recite prayers extolling Go d as the one who saves and forgives, asking for him to forgive their sins. It is said prayers on this night are worth more t han 1000 months of prayer. God often visits people with dreams and visions during this time. The night changes each year, but it is typically believed to be the 27th night of Ramadan, which would be Wednesday J une 21. This adds just another layer of confusion and fear for Muslims as they cannot even be sure whether or not they prayers were accepted. We want to pray with and for our Muslim neighbors for dreams and visions of the One who offers complete salvation. W e pray for them to know true peace and freedom through Jesus Christ. â â â â â â â Please pray... â â â That Muslens will find Jesus during there night of power. â â â That they will encounter Jesus in dreams and visions. â â â For the protection of those who will share Jesus with their Muslim neighbors during this time. â â â That those seeking Jesus and new believers will have access to the word of God. Particular the New Testa ment that they call in Arabic the Injil. â â â That new believers during this time will be discipled through secret fellowships. â â â that new we'll come out of these new converts. That they will be filled with the Holy Spirit and share Jesus wi th a gracious loving boldness. â â â â â â â Time of tonight's call is... Page 7/8

My father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be my disciples. On the final day of Ramadan, join us in thanking God for all He has done during this prayer campaign, and for the many who encountered God during this time. I realize that I have missed some days in sending out these prayer points. and the month of Ramadan has already pass ed. But let us offer prayers of praise and thanks to the many new brothers and sisters that God has brought into His king dom.
