Simple ways to Build Your House in Jannah Simple ways to Build Your House in Jannah بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم So you might be struggling to get your house in this world. Maybe it s the high cost of real estate, Interest loans, or your financial situation is tight. At any rate don t let that get you down, because the houses we buy in this life are only temporary residences for us anyway, but In Jannah there are houses, mansions and castles. Those accommodations only share the same names with those in this life. A house in Jannah is your permanent residence. Houses made of gold and silver. There is the option to own as many as you want-inshallah. In this article I ll present some authentic hadith including things we can do daily to build our palaces next to Allah. 1. They say: He praised You and said: Inna lillahi wa inna ilaihi raji un (We belong to Allah and to Him we shall return). Allah says: Build a house for my slave in Jannah and name it Baitul-Hamd (the House of Praise). [8]

Explanation of the 3 Linked Chain Hadith of Imam Ad- Darami [255H] Explanation of the 3 Linked Chain Hadith of Imam Ad-Darami [255H] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم ح د ث ن ا ج ع ف ر ب ن ع و ن أ ن ب ا ن ا ي ح ي ى ب ن س ع يد ع ن أ ن س ر ض ي الله ع ن ه ق ال : ج اء أ ع ر اب ي إ ل ى الن ب ي صلى الله عليه وسلم ف ل م ا ق ام ب ال ف ي ن اح ي ة ال م س ج د ق ال : ف ص اح ب ه أ ص ح اب ر س ول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ف ك ف ه م ع ن ه ث م د ع ا ب د ل و م ن م اء ف ص ب ه ع ل ى.ب و ل ه A Bedouin came to the Masjid and urinated, and the people yelled at him, but the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: Leave him alone. So they left him alone. When he had finished urinating, he ordered that a bucket (be brought) and poured over it. This is the first of the three chained hadith in Sunnan Ad- Darami. The total amount of 3 chained narrations in his collection is 15.

This hadith was collected by Imam Ad-Darami and placed in the book of Wudu under chapter number 62: Urinating in the Masjid. The Men in Isnad The 3 men between Imam Ad-Darami and the Prophet are; Ja far ibn Awn Yahya ibn Sa eed Anas ibn Malik 1. Anas ibn Malik:[ الله عنه Died [رضي in 93H after living a 100+ years His name is Anas ibn Malik ibn An-Nadr. He was an Imam, a Mufti and a Reciter and a major narrator of Sunnah. Narrations from: The Prophet,[ﷺ] Abu Bakr, Umar,Uthman, Abu Hurayrah and others. Narrators from him: Hasan Al-Basri, Ibn Sireen, Abu Qilabah, Umar ibn Abdil Aziz, Az-Zuhri and others. Anas ibn Malik served the Prophet for 9 years. The ulema differ on his age at the time of his death. Some say he was 103 or 107. He narrated about 2286 hadith and among those collected in both Bukhari in and in Muslim are a 180, and Al- Bukhari has 80 narrations that Imam Muslim didn t report and Imam Muslim has 90 that Imam Al-Bukhari didn t report. Abu الله عنه] Hurayrah [رضي said: No one s prayer resembled the Prophet s like Anas s. The Prophet made dua for Allah to grant him wealth, many children and a long life. He had wealth, lived a long life and had 106 children.[1] 2. Yahya ibn Sa eed : [ narrations in the 6 books ] died 143H Narrations from: Anas ibn Malik and Sa eed ibn Al-Musayab

Narrators from him: Malik ibn Anas, Az-Zuhri, Sufyan Aththowri and Ibn Uyaynah and others. Imam Ath-Thahabbi said he was [ فقيه حجة [حافظ in Al-Kashif # 6173 Yahya ibn Sa eed in Qays ibn Amr is his complete name. He was a major scholar in Madinah during his lifetime and a student from the 7 Fuqaha of Madina. He was a judge and a Mufti in the Prophet s Masjid. The Hadith, Actions are by intention, from his chain of narration,it branched to over 200 narrators, who then reported it. [2] 3. Ja far ibn Awn:[narrations in the 6 books] died in 206H Narrations from: Hisham ibn Arwa, Al amash, Abu Hanifah and others. Narrators from him: Ishaq ibn Rawhoowiya, Ahmed ibn Hanbal, Abdu ibn Humayd and many others. Some scholars like Imam Abu Hatim said he was [صدوق] while others concluded that he was [ثقة]. This was opinion of Imam Adh-Thahabi in Al-Kashif # 795 as well as Imam Al-Albani in Irwa [6/266] The status of the Hadith The isnad of this hadith in Ad-Darami s is Hasan Sahih and the Hadith is Sahih as it s been collected by Imam Al-Bukhari (221) and by his student Imam Muslim(285). Issues derived from the Hadith Vocabulary A Bedouin is an Arab or non-arab who lives in a far remote place.

The Man who urinated in the Masjid Al-Hafith Abu Musa and Ibn Al-Athir said: The Bedouin in this hadith was Thul Khuwaysara.[3] Health Issues If a person is urinating it isn t good to stop then continue again. This is harmful on the meatus and urethra. Social interactions A person is excused for his ignorance. An ignorant person isn t treated the same as knowledgeable person. The caller to Allah s Religion must show gentleness to the ignorant. The ignorant person is taught about his error in a polite fashion. Methodology Issues It s obligatory to enjoin what is correct and forbid what is wrong if you have the ability to do so. The person enjoining what is right and preventing evil must weigh the situation and take the outcome into

consideration before acting. The Prophet [ﷺ] allowed the Bedouin to finish before educating him. If someone is going to cause a greater harm then they mustn t be allowed to continue with their action. The Prophet [ﷺ] stopped his companions from stopping the man while urinating. If there are 2 evils then the lesser of the do is chosen and done.i.e The Bedouin urinating in the Masjid is bad, but stopping him could have been worse. For instance his urine would have splattered elsewhere, or his private parts would have been exposed to others to see, or if they stopped him he might have grown angry and left the masjid and never returned again. The Masjids must be maintained The Masjids must be respected. Whoever notices something dirty in the masjid must remove it or otherwise inform those in charge. The urine from the Son of Adam is an impurity. One of the conditions for prayer is a clean place, clean clothes and Water removes urine[4] Prepared by Abu Aaliyah Abdullah ibn Dwight Battle Academic / Khateeb for Qatar Religious Endowment [1] Siyr 4/ [2] Siyr 5/284 [3] Fathul Manan sharh Musnad Ad-Darami/vol4,pg379, Abu Assim Al-Ghamari [4] Refer to the explantion of Riyadus Salaheen by Imam Al- Uthaymeen, Shaykh Saleem Al-Hilali # 636

The Rights of a Muslim over another Muslim The Rights of a Muslim over another Muslim Abu Hurayra reported Allah s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: There are six rights of a Muslim over another Muslim. It was said to him: Allah s Messenger, what are they? Then he said: 1. When you meet him, offer him greetings; 2. When he invites you to a feast accept it.

3. when he seeks your council give him, 4. and when he sneezes and says: All praise is due to Allah, you say Yarhamuk Allah (may Allah show mercy to you) ; 5. and when he falls ill visit him; 6. and when he dies follow his bier. Benefits for this topic; This Hadith has been reported on two companions of the Prophet [ﷺ] Abu Hurayrah and Ali ibn Abee Talib رضي الله عنهما] ]. The narrations from Abu Hurayrah vary. In some cases the hadith mentioned the rights of the Muslim over another are 5, and others it s mentioned they are 6. In both cases the scholars of hadith graded both narrations as being authentic. The narrations that mention 6 rights were collected by Muslim ((5778)), Ahmed ((2/372, 412)),Ibn Hibban ((242)), Al-Bukhari in Adab ((925)),Al-Baghawi ((1405)), Al-Bayhaqi in Al-Kubara ((5/347)) on Abee Hurayrah Another Sahih narration that mentioned 6 rights was narrated by Ali ibn Abi Talib and is found in Imam Ad-Darami s Sunnan, ((2633)). The wording from Ali ibn Abi Talib s narration has the extra words, Love for you brother what you love for yourself

Imam Al-Bukhari avoided the narrations that mentioned 6 rights in his Sahih, but narrated it in Adabul Mufrad. In his Jami As-Sahih he mentioned the narration from Abee Hurairah that stated there are 5 rights on every Muslim. There are other narrations that carry the same meaning which mention there are 7 things that every Muslim have towards each other. Al-Bara bin Azib said: The Messenger of Allah commanded us to do seven things, and forbade us form seven things. He commanded us to visit the sick, to reply (say: Yarhamuk Allah, may Allah have mercy on you) to one who sneezes, to fulfill our oaths, to support the oppressed, to spread the greeting of Salam, to accept invitation, and to attend funerals. And he forbade us from using gold rings, silver vessels, Mayathir, the Qasiyyah, Al- Istabraq, silk and Ad-Dibaj. This hadith is collected by Al-Bukhari and Muslim. In this hadith there are two extra commands not mentioned in the previous hadith. Fulfill the oaths Support the oppressed The narration that mentioned there are 8 rights, then Imam Az- Zayla ee [762H] said its origin of narration was unknown to him,so he didn t make a ruling on the hadith.[1] Lastly the narration that mentioned there are 30 rights of Muslims over another Muslim was collected by Abul Qassim Al- Asbahani[ 525H] in Targheeb wa At-Tarheeb # In the

Isnad there are some unknown people. Although the Isnad is weak the meaning found in this hadith is correct. Some of the extra wording is; Forgive him if he wrongs you Ask forgiveness for him after his death Cover his faults Don t search and follow up his errors Accept his excuses Silence those who backbite him Maintain his friendship Safeguard him Accept his gifts Help him when he needs you Interceded on his behalf if you have the abilty to do so Thank him when he shows you kindness Help him when he s lost The things you dislike for yourself, equally hate them for him as well. Help him regain his right that was wrongfully taken from him. Be charitable towards him Aid and support him when he needs you Show him love and not your hatred These words are beautiful and no one would doubt that implementing these things will bring about a strong Muslim unity, but only after the Tawheed and Aqeedah are corrected. Al-Ameer As-San anee[1182h] said the numbers mentioned in these hadith aren t restricted those amounts.i.e There are other rights that Muslims have over each other that weren t mentioned in the hadith.[2]

Six are the rights of a Muslim over another Muslim Imam Ahmed Al-Qurtubi mentioned: These rights are equally shared between Muslims when they meet each other. The word rights in Islam is used to mean obligatory, Sunnah and used for a stressed act of worship. This is similar to the wording in the hadith, Witr is a right [3] This hadith mentions the rights that are shared between Muslims and some of them are obligatory and others are Sunnah. For instance beginning the greetings with another Muslim is Sunnah, but returning them is Wajib. Answering the invitation of your brother for a Waleemah is a must, and for everything else it s Sunnah. Giving advice is obligatory if he asks for it,while in other instances it based on the situation. The scholars differ about the sneezing person. Visiting the sick is a duty on some of the Muslims to fulfill and not on every single Muslim.[4] When you meet him, offer him greetings; To either begin with them or return them once they are given. Spreading the Salams removes animosity between Muslims.[5] When he invites you to a feast accept it Ibn Al-Jawzi[597H] said: This applies to any meal offered, but when it s a wedding feast then its obligatory to attend on the1st day, its sunnah to go on the 2 nd of the feast and it s not Sunnah or Wajib to answer the invitation on the 3 rd day. If he attends the Waleemah while he s making up a day from a previous Ramadhan fast, then he mustn t break his fast, but just attend and make dua for the host then leave; however if it s a voluntary fast then he should break his fast and eat some food. If this wedding party has musical instruments then he evaluates the situation. If he s able to get them to stop playing music then he can attend, and if cant then he doesn t go.

when he seeks your council give him,.. Al-Ameer As- Sana aee said: This means it s a must to give him advice only after he requests it from you. Do your best and be sincere with him. It s not suitable to offer your brother advice if he doesn t ask it from you. Don t take it upon yourself to give him your opinion. and when he sneezes and says: All praise is due to Allah, you say Yarhamuk Allah (may Allah show mercy to you) ;.. There a several etiquettes for the sneezing; After the person sneezes once you say Yarhamuk Allah (may Allah show mercy to you),only after he says Al- Hamdulilah. The person sneezing can say the following dua, Al-Hamdulilah] :الحمدلله] All-praises belong to Allah Lord :الحمد لله رب العالمين] of all the worlds] and when that s said the person responding can say: الله] :يرحمك May Allah show you يغفر الله لنا] says mercy]then following this the sneezer ] mercy May Allah show us :و لكم The person sneezing should try and cover his mouth and nose when he feels he s about to sneeze. الحمد لله على كل] The sneezing person can also say circumstances] All :حال praises to Allah under all The person responds to the sneezer three times afterwards he informs him that he has a cold.[6] Although there is a difference of opinion about responding to the sneezer the strongest opinion to me is that its wajib after discovering Ibn Al-Qayyim s argument in his notes for Sunnan Abu Dawud. and when he fails ill visit him; Ibn Al-Jawzi said: when visiting sick there are two recommended acts. The 1 st is make his heart feel at ease by taking care of his needs and the 2 nd act is to give him a spiritual reminder.[7]

and when he dies follow his bier. Ibn Al-Jawzi said: There are 3 meanings found in following the funeral procession. 1 st,offer the prayer, carry him to the graveyard, then bury him. This is obligatory on some of the Muslims to do. The 2 nd is to help the family with the arrangements and offer condolences. The 3 rd is to take a lesson from that person s death.[8] Lasting reminders from this topic. The word Rights can be used to mean ; Wajib, Sunnah, or for a stressed act of worship. The rights between Muslims aren t restricted to these numbers found in these narrations Among the 6 books of hadith Imam Muslim is the only one who narrated the hadith about 6 rights that Muslims have over each other. The rights in these hadith mean Fard Ayn and Fard Kifiya and the Sahabah understood it. These rights are the most commonly encountered between Muslims If these rights are done the unity and love between Muslims will strenghten. 30 المشيقح, دار العاصمة English Translation Included in this small research are some beneficial fiqh subjects that serve as a reminder for the Muslims about their prayer. The prayer is the first thing Allah will ask us about on the Day of Judgment in regards to His rights. Therefore if it s carried out correctly then the servant will be successful and saved and on the other the hand if is done incorrectly he will be disappointed and lose. Hence I researched and studied the hadith known amongst the scholars as the one who prayed badly or incorrectly. Throughout this paper I summarized the following points: 1: The Matn of the Hadith 2: The chains of the hadith 3:The general meaning of the hadith 4:The status of this hadith among the scholars 5: Some of the Fiqh benefits for the hadith 6: Some of the Fiqh benefits for the hadith about social interaction.

I tried my best to make this paper as simple as possible for the common folk and the student of knowledge to use as a reference. I ask Allah to accept this action from me and place me among those pray correctly in order to earn His Mercy. The Text of the Hadith Narrated Abu Huraira: A man entered the mosque and started praying while Allah s Messenger (ﷺ) was sitting somewhere in the mosque. Then (after finishing the prayer) the man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and greeted him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said to him, Go back and pray, for you have not prayed. The man went back, and having prayed, he came and greeted the Prophet. The Prophet (ﷺ) after returning his greetings said, Go back and pray, for you did not pray. On the third time the man said, (O Allah s Messenger (!(ﷺ) teach me (how to pray). The Prophet said, When you get up for the prayer, perform the ablution properly and then face the Qibla and say Takbir (Allahu Akbar), and then recite of what you know of the Qur an, and then bow, and remain in this state till you feel at rest in bowing, and then raise your head and stand straight; and then prostrate till you feel at rest in prostration, and then sit up till you feel at rest while sitting; and then prostrate again till you feel at rest in prostration; and then get up and stand straight, and do all this in all your prayers. This the text of the hadith found in Bukhari and Muslim, and in other narrations there is some extra wording not found in Al-Bukhari and Muslim. Abu Dawud: ((When you get up to pray, utter the takbir(allah is most great); then recite a convenient portion of the Qur an;)) At-Tirmithi: ((When you stand for Salat then perform Wudu as Allah ordered you. Then say the Tashahhud, and the Iqamah as well. If you know any Quran then recite it, if not then praise

Allah, mention His greatness, and the Tahlil.)) An-Nisa I : ((If you do that then you will have done your prayer properly, and whatever you failed to do properly is going to detract from your prayer. )) Ibn Majah : ((When you stand up to offer the prayer, perform ablution properly, then stand to face the prayer direction and say Allahu Akbar.)) The Chains of the Hadith This hadith has two chains and when we collect all of them we notice that some of the other narrations complete the others with extra information. Two companions narrated: 1-Abu Hurayrah and the strongest view is his name is Abur Rahman Sahkhr(Radi Allahu anhu) Collect by Al-Bukhari (757,793) Muslim (397) Abu Dawud(856) At-Tirmithi (303) An-Nisai (884) Ibn Majah (1060) Al-Baghawi (552) Ahmed (2:437) 2- Rafa ibn Rafa Collected by Musnad Ash-Shaf I (205) Ahmed(4:340) An-Nisa I (2:193) Al-Bukhari reading behind Imam (page 30-32) Ibn Hibban (1784) At-Tahawi in Mushkal Athar (3:78) Al-Bayhaqi I Kubara (2:372) Ibn Abee Shaybah (1:287) The General Meaning of the Hadith One day the [ﷺ] Prophet and some of his companions were in his masjid and a man came inside to offer his prayer; however his prayer wasn t performed correctly, so after he finished he wanted to sit with the prophet [ﷺ] and his companions. He gave salaams to the Prophet, and ordered him to redo his prayer and this occurred three times. Lastly the man told to the Prophet [ﷺ] that the way he prayed was the best he could do. Afterwards he requested the Prophet to teach him how to

pray correctly. The Status of this hadith amongst the Scholars The scholars named this hadith the one who prayed incorrectly; as he didn t properly perform his actions in the prayer properly due to his ignorance and at the same time he wasn t a sinner. The people of knowledge have categorized this hadith under the section the obligation to move calmly during Ruku and Sujud, meaning it s a must to move in this fashion during the prayer. No one prays properly except by offering Ruku and Sujud with ease. Al-Baghawi mentioned this hadith in his Sunnah under the title The Description of the Prayer and Ibn Majah narrated it under the subject the act that complete the prayer. In this hadith the Prophet taught the man the actions that make the prayer correctly. The Fuqaha use this hadith as an evidence that everything the Prophet mentioned is obligatory to do in prayer and everything he didn t mention isn t Some Fiqh Benefits from the Hadith The man who prayed incorrectly in this hadith is Khalad ibn Abee Raa fi.the Prophet [ﷺ] taught him how to pray correctly after he offered the prayer improperly three times. The following actions complete the prayer: 1:Wuud in a condition for the prayer. Allah ordered it and that verse shows Wudu should be made in the order mentioned. 2:Facing the Qiblah 3:Takbirul Ihram. The way it s mentioned is the correctly wording for it and this rejects the argument of Abu Hanifah 4: Recitation of Al-Fatihah and whoever is unable can say((allahu Akbar, Al-Hamdulilah, Subhanallah)) 5:It s legislated to move slowly during Ruku

6: It legislated to move calmly during sujud 7: It s legislated to sit between the 2 prostrations 8: no one is excused from the pillars of prayer, either out of forgetfulness, ignorance or intentionally. These acts are from the Prophet s speech that explains the actions that make the prayer acceptable with Allah the Most High. We ask to accept all of our prayers Ameen. Some of the Fiqh benefits for Social Interaction This hadith doesn t only teach us the obligatory actions for prayer, but we can also learn from it some Islamic mannerisms which are suitable to done between people. Some of these points are: 1: The obligation to enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong. 2: The ignorant person is excuse for what the things that a learned person knows. 3: A students ask a knowledgeable person to teach him. 4: The ignorant person submits to things he doesn t know about at the hands of a scholar. 5: If the Mufti is asked about and there is need to clarify something else to the questioner he does so. 6: Salams are given before speaking 7: Salams can be exchanged over and over again, even though there is no lengthy time period between separation. 8:The person must acknowledge his shortcomings.
