Exhibition Islam is an independent nonprofit making organisation that specialises in promoting a greater understanding of Islam in both the domestic and international arenas by utilizing alternative educational resources that are delivered through professional museum style exhibitions. Exhibition Islam creates a dynamic setting that allows visitors to discover the richness and intensity of the Islamic faith. Exhibition Islam partially owes its success to its unique approach. Through a combination of our professional approach, breathtaking design and accurately delivered information, Exhibition Islam creates an environment that is thoroughly educational and enjoyable for visitors from all backgrounds. The atmosphere is further refined through the fusion of additional sights, sounds and smells from the Islamic world. Exhibition Islam was launched in London in 1993 and immediately started to capture the imagination of many organisations throughout the UK. By the turn of the new millennium, Exhibition Islam had emerged as the leading exhibition provider in this field. Over the last seven years, Exhibition Islam has been at the forefront of raising global Islamic awareness and promoting a greater understanding of Islam. 7 Achievements Domestic arena Exhibition Islam Professional Quality Modern Outlook Market Leader Diversity & Creativity Having attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors over the past decade, Exhibition Islam has established its name as the leading Islamic exhibition provider in the World. Exhibition Islam has delivered and hosted exhibitions in many different locations including museums, mosques, universities, training schools, prisons, schools, shopping centres, and many other venues around the UK and the world. To date, Exhibition Islam has exhibited at numerous locations and sites in the UK. Some of the more renowned organisations that Exhibition Islam has worked with are: Central London Mosque (Regents park), Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre (London), London Muslim Centre, East London Mosque (Whitechapel), Ashmolean Museum (Oxford), London HSBC Bank (Canary Warf) and St James Park (Football stadium). Apart from hosting and co-hosting regular events, Exhibition Islam also offers its services to special events and ceremonies. In the past, Exhibition Islam has provided support material for the openings of Edinburgh Mosque, London Muslim Centre and the Muslim Cultural Heritage Centre

8 Exhibition Islam in Denmark Exhibition Islam A proven and established track record. Exhibition Islam has now expanded its services to Europe and the Middle East. Since 2006, Exhibition Islam has showcased exhibitions in Denmark, Norway, Qatar and Dubai. June 2006 witnessed the introduction of Exhibition Islam to Copenhagen, Denmark. Later that same year, Exhibition Islam co-hosted a groundbreaking exhibition during the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar proved to be an eventful year for International exhibitions. Exhibition Islam has already displayed highly successful exhibitions in Norway and Dubai. Further exhibitions have been booked for Saudi Arabia and South Africa in

10 Resources Project management Exhibition Islam is managed by a team of experienced and enthusiastic professionals who provide expert project management. The team is dedicated to providing each event with the best possible resources to present Islam. The Exhibition Islam project management team work alongside the host from inception to completion to deliver a professional exhibition. To date the project management team has successfully delivered many exhibitions throughout the country. The team can also aid in bookings, invitation letters, advertisement and produce a complete project plan for your whole event. Design team Mobilisation team Exhibition Islam fields an experienced and reliable mobilisation team to aid exhibition set-up and delivery. The mobilisation team works closely with the design team and host organisation, to guarantee a successful event. Exhibition Islam is also able to implement Health & Safety of visitors and provide security during an event. Presentation team Our experienced personnel help the host organization to not only set up but run the exhibition as well. Whether it is to present Islam to the general public or give a seminar to dignitaries, Exhibition Islam is able to present Islam in a friendly, professional and coherent manner. We also have a small team of curators to help us take care of the very rare Quranic manuscripts and other Islamic artefacts on display. Exhibition Islam s design team will complement the management team to design and implement a bespoke event at the venue of your choice. To date the design team has designed and produced a unique and extensive collection of Islamic posters, all of which are made available to event organisers. If required our design team is able to produce a virtual reality walk through of your event. Exhibition Islam produces its own display material for its projects and is continuously upgrading and expanding the range of display material and the artefacts it uses. Exhibition Islam has built up a huge range of resources that can be used for any event. All our material can be customised to suit any specific need. We aim to deliver exhibitions that are designed in a walkthrough format that can be customized to fit into small exhibition rooms or large conference theatres. This allows visitors to experience Islam in a unique atmosphere, in which they can learn about Islam in a relaxed environment. The design team can carry out feasibility studies, plan settings that conform to current Health and Safety standards, and can also assist in multi-media as well as artwork design. Our structure is split into four experienced teams; project management, design, mobilisation and presentation. All these elements combine to deliver a unique event

12 Exhibition Islam Quran Collection The Exhibition Islam Quran Collection consists of over a 100 unique and rare manuscripts from around the Islamic World. The Exhibition Islam Quran Collection contains Qurans from the 7th Century onwards. These Qurans hail from across the globe including Spain, Indonesia, Morroco, and Syria. Exhibition Islam Coin Collection Exhibition ISLAM MANUSCRIPT collection The Exhibition Islam Coin Collection exhibits a rare collection of coins minted as early as the 7th Century. This superb collection displays coins discovered from across the world including Jerusalem, Sicily, Greece, Bosnia and Spain. Exhibition Islam Science Collection The Exhibition Islam Science Collection showcases a range of historical medical and navigational tools and accessories from over 1000 years. 13 Books The Islam Guide Exhibition Islam s flagship publication, title The Islam Guide: An insight into the faith, history and civilisation is a thought provoking book that provides an unprecedented exploration of the beliefs, teachings and practices of a religion that encompasses a fifth of the world`s population. The use of iconic symbols of Islamic history, including some of the worlds greatest architectural accomplishments, entwined with the captivating the message of Islam combine to deliver a vibrant and intriguing journey through the faith. This book is written in an informative, factual and concise manner and consists of stunning colour imagery and exquisite photography of the natural world. The Islam Guide is available at all good stockists. Among His Signs Exhibition Islam is currently in the process of releasing another two exhilarating publications. Our next title, Amongst His Signs focuses upon the Creation of Allah (swt). This book utilises some of the latest and most remarkable imagery ever to be published on general release. Amongst His Signs use fantastic imagery to illustrate the perfection of Allah (swt s) Creation, and forces the reader to dwell upon some of the inner, more spiritual aspects of life. A Magnificent History of the Holy Quran A Magnificent History of the Holy Quran is a truly wonderfully unique project that has already generated a great deal of excitement in the publishing industry. This book will be the first ever book that will provide a timeline of Quran. Since the very first compilation, to the modern print version of the Quran, this book illustrates how the Quran has remained unchanged over time. Leaflets Exhibition Islam has designed a series of information leaflets. These leaflets have been prepared due to the high public demand for additional information from visitors. Content for these leaflets has been extracted from an information base that has resulted from years of research from the Exhibition Islam team. These A4, 6 column, full-colour leaflets can be ordered in paper-version through the Exhibition Islam office. 14 Development Plan Introduction Our basic strategy has been to systematically develop Exhibition Islam through a series of four Phases as outlined below. Currently the project has reached PHASE II. Exhibition Islam can comfortably continue to function at the PHASE I level, but for the project to develop further it needs to expand its operations by moving into PHASE II of its development plan. In order for Exhibition Islam to meet the everincreasing demand on its services, the next phase is the most critical in Exhibition Islam s development curve. Our aim is to firmly establish Exhibition Islam as an independent and well-established organisation that not only seeks to portray Islam in its true light, but helps to empower Muslims as well. In PHASE II Exhibition Islam will aim to further develop the structure setup in PHASE I, by establishing a Head Office as its operational base. The Head Office will coordinate all of Exhibition Islam s activities both nationally and internationally. As well as acting as a storage facility the Head Office will also host a prototype Islamic museum in which visitors and potential clients can have a first-hand view of what Exhibition Islam has to offer. PHASE II will also witness the introduction of Exhibition Islam to major exhibition and event venues in the UK. London will play host to the 2012 Olympics and Exhibition Islam aims to host a multitude of events that coincide with that period, which will witness record levels of tourism to the UK. In the medium to long term (PHASE III) Exhibition Islam aims to establish a permanent Islamic Museum in a major UK city, preferably in London. In PHASE III Exhibition Islam will embark upon an unprecedented and momentous project that will serve as a milestone for Muslims living in the West. Exhibition Islam is already in the initial stages of designing the blueprints for the Western worlds first ever Islamic Museum. Over the long term in PHASE IV, Exhibition Islam will establish offices, centres and Islamic Museums around the world. An important part of PHASE IV will be to concentrate on Africa, Australia, North/South Amercia and Europe. Exhibition Islam will seek to train specialists and volunteers who can not only instruct people on Islam but also empower them to contribute to their respective societies. By the Grace of Allah, the Most High, planning for PHASES II and III has already been commissioned. For instance we have already started work on the contents and layout of a permanent museum, and we have already started forming links with other organisations and potential partners. Exhibition Islam is a firm believer in being pro-active and that approach has got us to where we are today. We hope that this hard-working attitude and genuine desire for success can serve us all the way through to our final objectives. 15 Islamic Museum of Europe Status - In discussion In Phase III Exhibition Islam proposes to set up a permanent Islamic museum based on the model developed in Phase II. Our ideal location for this is in Central London. This is a very major undertaking that requires careful planning and dedication. Exhibition Islam believes that it is more than capable of carrying out this task. Our main strength and confidence comes from the fact that we have already developed a museum style exhibition. All that is now needed is a permanent place to display the material. Exhibition Islam International Status - In discussion The long term aim of Exhibition Islam is to establish Exhibition Islam museums in European capitals and Australia, as well as expand operations to other continents including Africa, USA, Canada, South Africa, Middle East, South East Asia. We hope that by the will of Allah the museum will provide the western world with its first Museum dedicated to Islam showing the sights and inspirations of the religion not seen before in the west.
