2 For the first time King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center at Dirab opened its gates for a high level International Event under the patronage of His Majesty The Custodian of The Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. King Adulaziz Arabian Horse Center (KAAHC) at Dirab is the pride of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as it is breeding and maintaining the original strains of Desert Bred Arabians as well as different lines of Pure Bred Arabians from all over the world. Its facilities in continuous development and improvement include: barns, paddocks, a state of the art equine clinic, breeding center, the registration office for the Arabian horses of the Kingdom (WAHO member) and newly set Show facilities where King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center International Championship Show took place. KAAHC International Championship Show was an International A Show under ECAHO rules which saw the attendance of Judges from all over the world and many excellent quality horses from all over the Kingdom as well as abroad. Very important guests have attended this event such as members of the Saudi Royal Family and Saudi Ministers and of course the owners of the main Studs. The atmosphere of the Show was joyful and lot of people acclaimed the winners with enthusiasm.

3 The first day started with the Classes dedicated to the yearling fillies. As almost 50 fillies were presented, the Class was divided in A,B and C. The Championship of the Yearling Fillies saw the Gold Medal going to DELIGHT'S DIVAH RB (Ajman Moniscione Honey's Delight RB), winner of her Class with points. She is owned by Khalid Bin Said Bin Abdulllah Al Sayed (Al Sayed Stud) and bred by Adriana Esoindola B De Moura. The Silver Medal went to LATIFA ATHBAH (Aja Justified Ermina) owned and bred by HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Athbah Stud) and the Bronze Medal went to HAWAZIN AL MUAWD (Psytadel Kuboara ) owned and bred by Sons of Abdullah Bin Muhammed Al Subaiee (Al Muawd Stud). The same day also the Colts have been dived in 2 Classes. The Yearling Colts Championship saw the Gold Medal going to the gorgeous WARSONG CS (Sf Veraz Mostlys Love Song) owned by Sons of Abdullah Bin Muhammed Al Subaiee (Al Muawd) and bred by Jeff, Sybil Collins, James & Sandra Smith. The Silver Medal went to MINJED AL JANADRIYAH ( Bandar Nejood) owned and bred by Stables of King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz & Sons and the Bronze Medal was given to BAD'E AL HAWAJER (Marajj Valentyna F) owned by Abdulaziz Bin Mohammed BuKhamseen (Al Khamsin Stud) and bred by Dr Ghanam Al Hajri. Fillies Championship saw as Gold Medal the beautiful 3 years old UL SID PARMA(El Sid Ca Kupona) with outstanding points gained in her Class on the second day. She is owned by HRH Prince Saud Bin Sultan Bin Saud Al Saud and bred by Ulrichsd Al Arabians. The Silver Medal was given to the 3 years old OFW ANA ( Da Valentino Hafati Julianna) owned by H.P. Turkai Bin Fahed Bin Mashari Al Saud (Al Jalawiyah Stud) and bred by Harold Or Dolly Orr and the Bronze Medal went to the 2 years old EVANGELEEN IA owned by Sons of Abdullah Bin Muhamed Al Subaiee (Al Muawd Stud) and bred by Richard Dewalt.

4 For the Colts Championship the Gold Medal was gained by RAZI AL KHALEDIAH (Marquis Cahr Halah) proudly owned and bred by HRH Khalid Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Khalediah Stables). The Silver Medal went to MASHOOR AL MOHAMEDIA ( Abha Qatar Abha Palma) and the Bronze Medal to NAWAF AL MOAHAMEDIA (F.Shamaal Saida Bint Shalia) both owned as well as bred by HRH Abdullah Bin Fahad Bin Abdullah Bin Mohammed Al Saud ( Al Mohamadia Stud). Moving to the Mares Championship the winner of the Gold Medal was, with points gained on the second day, ONCE UPON A THYME (Pyro Thyme SA Elegancebuversa Ce ) owned by Sons of Abdullah Bin Muhammed Al Subaiee (Al Muawd Stud) and bred by Mindy Millwee.The Silver Medal was given to MARYLLA ( Gazal Al Shaqab Margotka) owned by Mr Abdul Mohsen Bin Adulmalik Al Al Sheikh and bred by Blommerod Arabian Stud and the Bronze Medal went to FABRYSZKA (Gazal Al Shaqab Fula) owned by HRH Turki Bin Fahed Bin Mashari Al Saud and bred by Sk Bialka Stud. The Stallion Championship saw HRH Prince Khaled Bin Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (Al Khalediah Stables) as the winner of the Gold Medal with his beautiful MARQUIS CAHR (Marwan Al Shaqab Rohara Magnifica) with unbeatable points gained in his class the second day. He is owned by His Highness and bred by Dr.R Graham Sandrapowell and the winner of The Silver Medal with FAKHR AL KHALEDIAH ( Marquis Cahr Barah Al Khalediah) owned and bred by His Highness. He was not far from his father with points. The winner of the Bronze Medal was MPA GIULIANI (MPA Giovanni Rohara Whispers) owned by Sons of Abdullah Bin Muhammed Al Subaiee (Al Muawd Stud) and bred by Karen&Andrew Wilson.

5 The Desert Bred Arabian Horses are deeply present in the history of Saudi Arabia and considered as part of the heritage. King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center at Dirab is one of the main breeder of this special breed together with other Studs which as the Center are proudly maintaining the original strains and every year with attentive selection succeed to compete with excellent results. In the special Classes dedicated to the Desert Bred, for the Fillies the First Place went to the beautiful ASALAT DIRAB (Khaleel Dirab Azbat Dirab) proudly owned and bred by King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center. The second place went to FELWA ATHBAH (Namar Mandoba) owned by HRH Prince Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and bred by Athbah Stud. The third place went to FARAHT WATAN (Khaeel Dirab Azbat Dirab) once again owned and bred by King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center. The Desert Bred Colts saw as winner FAHAD ATHBAH (Namar Mandoba) owned by HRH Prince Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and bred by Athbah Stud. On the second place was KHERAISAN ATHBAH (Dera Al Thani Khameesah) owned by HRH Prince Ahmed Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and bred by Athbah Stud and the third place went to JAAFER AL HAMDANI (Al Maz El Shariea Wajabah) owned by HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saad Bin Abdullah Bin Jalwi Al Saud and bred by Barahat Al Kheil Stud. For the Desert Bred Mares the First Place went to WASSAYEF AL THLITHA (Nader El Barsaa) owned and bred by Stables of King Abdulaziz Bin Abdulaziz & Sons, also proud owners and breeders of the second place AL DIRIEYAH AL THANIYA ( Kayid Al Thani Ghazwa Al Thaniya). The third Place went to AL HAMADIYAH ( Al Sarim Al Basamiyah) owned by Zaid Bin Mohammed Bin Zaid Al Hussein Al Tamimi and bred by Abou Nasiah Stud. The First Place for the Desert Bred Stallions went to SAQER DIRAB (Rezaiq Khuzamah) owned by Tamim Bin Muhammed Al Tamimi and bred by King Abdulaziz Arabian Horse Center. The Second Place went to MATLOOQ AL YAMEEN AL AZIZYAH ( Zeeban Al Thani Badrah) owned by HRH Prince Abdulaziz Bin Khaled Al Sudairi and bred by Al Aziziyah Stud. The third Place was given to HABBAR (Haleem Bajrah) owned by Abdullah Bin Fahad Al Haqbani and bred by Al Tinhat Stud.
