The Russian military surprised Western military experts last week by launching 26 high-tech Kalibr shiplaunched cruise missiles, also known as 3M-14s on rebel targets in Syria. 3 Russia makes a major military move into Syria a country that borders Israel on the northeast. Before dawn on Thursday, Sept. 24, Russian marines went into battle for the first time since their deployment to Syria, Debkafile s military and intelligence sources reveal.
