He who does this shall be punished for his sin
Dear brothers and sisters I was reciting some verses from Surrah Furqan. I have already explained some of these verses during my last Khutba. In these verse Allah Rabul-Alamin describing the most important characteristics of Ibad-ur- Rehman "the true servants of Allah Rabulalamin". Those important deeds which distinguished Ibad-ur-rehman from Ibad-us-Shitan. Those deeds and those specific characteristics which naturally emerged in a person when he consciously decided to convert himself from Ibad-us-Shitan to Ibad-ur-Rehman. Those important characteristics are as that true servants of Allah walk humbly on the earth and when ignorant and Jahals address them with bad words, they try to ignore them and say them "peace to you" and who spend their nights in Ibadat and standing before Allah Rabul-alamin, who pray for forgiveness and who spend their wealth in the way of Allah. After describing these deeds, Allah Rabul-Alamin describes the most important and most distinguished characteristics of Ibad-ur-rehman and actually on this characteristic the whole building of our religion is standing and this important thing is "TAUHEED" and to believe in God.
Allah Rabul-alamin says that Ibad-ur-rehman are those who call not any other along with Allah. Ibad-ur-rehman are those who knows the true menings of "Lailla-ha Illa-Lallah" and who actually apply this Qalma on their lives. A hadith is naratted in Bukhari, Muslim and Tirmizi. It is narrated by Abdullah bin Mas'ud that when some one asked Rasul-Allah (PBUH) about the worst sins he replied, (1) "It is to set up someone as equal in rank with Allah, Who has created you, (2) to kill your own child for fear of his food, and (3) to commit adultery with the wife of your neighbour." (Bukhari, Muslim, Tirmizi, Nasa`i, Ahmad). In another Hadith which is also reported in Bukhari. Mu'aadh Ibn Jabal (Radhiallaahu 'Anhu) said that the Prophet (PBUH)- said: O Mu'aadh, do you know what is the right of Allaah upon His servants? He said: "Allaah and His messenger know best." Prophet (PBUH) said: That they should worship Him and not associate any partners with him. Do you know what their right upon Allah is? Muaadh said: "Allaah and His messenger know best." Prophet (PBUH) said That Allah shall not punish them.
1) Dear brothers and sisters Tauheed and to believe in only and only one God is the purpose of the creation of Man and jin. Allah says in Quran And I have not created the Jinn and the men but that they may worship Me. In this verse Allah Rabul-alamin explained the drive behind the creation of man and jin. Allah have not created them just for doing fun in this life, not created them just for collecting food and money for their families, not created them for the service of others. Allah created them only for His service. All man and jin should serve Allah because He is their Creator. When no one else has created them, no one else has the right that they should serve him; Allah says in Qurane-Hakim This is so because it is Allah alone Who is the Truth and all others, whom they invoke/call besides Him, are falsehood, and Allah is the Supreme and the Exalted One.
The word `ibadat (service, worship) in this verse has not been used in the sense of only prayer, fasting and other kinds of such worship so that one may understand that the jinn and men have been created only for performing the Prayer, observing the Fast and for praising and glorifying Allah. Although this sense also is included in it, this is not its complete sense. Its complete sense is that the jinn and men have not been created for the worship, obedience and carrying out of the orders of any other but Allah. They are not created to bow in front of any other, to carry out the orders of any other, to live in fear of any other, to follow the religion made by any other, to look upon any other as the maker and destroyer of ones destiny, and to pray any other than Allah for help. It is not possible that you believe in One Allah but you have fear from any other, you believe in one God but you accept the orders of others. 2) Dear brothers and sisters "Tauheed" and to believe in one God is the actual message of all the Prophet Alayhem-asslam who were sent to this earth after its creation. Allah says in Surrah Al-Anbiya' verse 25.
And We sent not before you any Messenger except that We revealed to him, that "There is no God but I; so worship Me alone". This is "Tauheed" and invitation towards the order of one God that has been the real cause of the conflict between the Prophets and their righteous followers, on the one hand, and the worldly kingdoms and tyrant's governments and dictators on the other. The Prophets have been trying their best to make the tyrant and dictator rulers like Feron, Namrood to acknowledge the sovereign and absolute rights of the Lord of the Worlds. But they in return have been claiming sovereign powers and rights for themselves. These dictators of past and present, also considered every such person as a criminal and rebel, who invited them towards the orders of Allah Rabul-alamin. Dear Brothers and sisters, now I come towards the true meninges of "Believe in One God". Actually Musharkeen-e-Makkah also believes in one God. For instance, when Abraha invaded Makkah, the Quraish did not invoke or call their idols to save the Ka`bah from him, but they begged from Allah to save it. Allah also says to Musharkeen in Surrah Almominoon:- Say to them, To whom belongs the earth and whatsever in it, if you know? They will say, "Allah's". Ask them, "Then why do you not understand this"?
Say to them, Who is the Lord of the seven heavens, and the Lord of the Great Chair or Throne? They will say, "To Allah" Say, "Then why do you not fear Him". Say to them, "Tell me, if you know, whose is the Sovereignty over everything? And who is that Being who gives protection while none can give protection against Him?" They will surely reply, "This power belongs to Allah." Say, "How then are you mislead?" The fact is that We have brought the Truth before them and undoubtedly these people are liars. Dear brothers and sistes, the Quraish and the other Arabs attributed their belief to Prophet Ibraham and looked upon their religious and social customs, particularly their Hajj rites as part of Abraham's religion. They also knew that Prophet Ibraham was a worshipper 'of Allah and not of idols. They also had traditions to show the people when they had started idol-worship, and which idol had been brought from where, when and by whom. The incident which changed the heart of Akrama bin abi jahal also reflected the believe of common arab in one God. When he was trying to flee from Makkah after the success of Islam, the storm approached the small boat in which he was travelling. Then all passengers of boat supplicated and begged to Allah for help. No body called the idols. Then Akrama thought that if we call one Allah in an hour of problems and difficulties then why not during normal time. At that time he decided to convert into Muslim.
Actually dear brothers and sisters Allah is so much sensitive about his "Tauheed" that Allah does not like to have even any minor impurity in his worship and Ibadat. Allah says in Surrah Al-bayyinah Yet all that they had been commanded was that they serve Allah, with utter sincerity, devoting themselves exclusively to Him, and that they establish Prayer and pay Zakah. That is the Right Faith. My dear brothers and sisters have you ever thought why Allah made Kabbah "His House" in so deserted, isolated, barren and infertile place where there is no greenery, no vegetation. Allah could also make His house at any other place. He could build this at any attractive, beautiful and recreational place. When Ibrahim started his journey by the orders of Allah Rabul-alamin from Phalastine towards Makkah, and when Allah ordered Ibrahim to make the home of Allah and to leave his wife and child, he passed away from many beautiful places where there was greenery all-around, fountains were flowing, gardens
were full of fruits. He asked many times to Jibrail: Jibrail should we stop here. But Jibrail said no we have to go forward. And when they reached Makkah. There was no life at Makkah. Completely isolated, completely barren, no water, no food. In these circumstances Allah ordered Ibrahim to leave his wife and son there, that son which he got at the age of 86, that son which he got after so many prayers and Allah gave him when he was getting old.. Dear brothers and sisters, try to imagine those circumstances in which Hazrat Hajra asked Ibrahim, Ibrahim why you brought us here and why you left us here, where there is no food, no water, even no human being. Are you angry from us or its order from Allah? She asked him three times. Ibrahim was slinet and his eyes were full of tears and then he replied Hajra I left you here by the orders of Allah Rabulalamin and then Hazrat Hajra said instantly then there will be no worry, then there will be no fear Dear brothers and sisters this is true believed in God and this is the reason why Allah said in Surrah Nahal, verse 120: Abraham was indeed a paragon of virtue, obedient to Allah, ever inclined to Him, and he was not of those who set up equals to God;
And this is the reason why Allah made His house in such deserted and barren place. He needs that people should come there only to visit His house. Only come there for His Ibadat. They should have no material or recreational reasoning behind their visit. Allah says in Surrah Al-Inam, verse 88: if they ever associated others with Allah in His divinity, then all that they had done would have gone to waste. Now I want to explain another important aspect of "Believe in one God" and that is why to believe in one God. Allah invites to Mushrakeen and infact all human beings at several several places to think about the "Creation of this Universe" to think about the presence of Allah Rabulalamin and its divine kingdom and rulership. Allah says in Surrah Al-raad verse 4: And it is Allah Who has spread out the earth, and fixed the immovable mountains in it, and made the rivers flow on it. Allah has created in pairs every kind of fruit, and He covers the day with the veil of night. Surely there are great Signs in these for those who think upon them.
Allah asked this thing at several several places to Musharkeen that If you have any sense and wisdom and if you meditate and think then it would be possible that you did not follow the path of your ancestors and recognize Allah Rabulalamin. Allah says in Surrah Al-mominoon Have the disbelievers never think upon this Quran Allah Rabul-Alamin invited all people who have wisdom just in the start of Quran to think upon this book. At the same time He also challenged them to find any false thing in this righteous book of the Universe. This is a perfect Book; there is no doubt in it; it is a guidance for the righteous, Dear brothers and sisters whenever Allah give challenge to anybody, He also said that they do not believe in Allah because they have no wisdom and because they have no knowledge. Allah says in Surrah Al-araf verse 179.
(7:179) And certainly We have created for Hell many of the jinn and mankind; they have hearts with which they fail to understand; and they have eyes with which they fail to see; and they have cars with which they fail to hear. They are like cattle - indeed, even more astray. Such are utterly heedless. Dear brothers and sisters if you find time to read Quran, Allah invited all human being at several several place to think upon the creation of this universe, to think upon the existence of God and He made this challenge to every one that If someone has wisdom and knowledge then it is not possible for him to negate the presence of Almighty Allah. Dear brothers and sisters here question arises Does Allah demand blind faith on Him or demand such faith which is also based on knowledge and wisdom. Dear brothers and sisters, I like to quote very beautiful quotation of Hazrat Ali. He said I am doing my Ibadat not for getting Jannah, I am also doing it not because of fear from Hell. I did my Ibada because Allah rabul-alamin deserved this. Allah rabulalamin really deserved this that all His creature should bow in front of Him, should get help only from Him, should get fear only from Him, should pray only and only in front of Him.
Dear brothers and sisters actually it is not possible to negate the presence of Allah if someone try to look upon his own creation, if someone try to think upon the creation of this universe, if some one try to think about the blessing of Almighty Allah. Allah says in surrah Al-naba about his countless blessing: Have We not spread the earth like a bed, and fixed the mountains like pegs, and created you in pairs (as men and women), and made your sleep for rest, and made the night as a covering, and made the day for the activities of life and built
P above you seven strong heavens, and we have made the sun as a bright lamp and sent down abundant water from the clouds so that We may thereby bring forth grain and vegetation, and gardens dense with luxuriant growth? Dear brothers and sisters it is my and your Allah who tell us about the complex phenomenon's of universe, science and life 1500 years before when there was no medical and astronomical sciences. I want to quote only two examples from Quran, only two examples. Fact is that all Quran are full of such miracles. Allah says in Surrah Al-zariat, verse 47 And it is We who have constructed the heaven with might and verily, it is We Who are steadily expanding it The word "heaven," as stated in the verse above, is used in various places in the Qur'an. It is referring to space and the wider universe. Here again, the word is used with this meaning, stating that the universe "expands." Dear brothers and sisters until the dawn of the 20P th century, the only view prevailing in the world of science was that "the universe has a constant nature and is not expanding." In 1929 modern science proved that universe is expanding. American astronomer Edwin Hubble discovered that the stars and
galaxies were constantly moving away from each other and I just now read in news paper that this expansion of universe is now going with very fast speed. Dear brothers and sisters, Allah said about this complex phenomenon in Quran 1500 years before that Universe is expanding. Then dear brothers and sisters Scientists are now certain that the universe came into being as the result of an unimaginably huge explosion, known as the "Big Bang". The Big Bang theory states that around billion years ago the universe came into existence from one single extremely hot and dense point, and that something triggered the explosion of this point that brought about the beginning of the universe. Quran says about very complex theory of big bang 1500 years before in Surrah Al-anbia verse 30 that: Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heavens and the earth were a joined entity, then We separated them, and made from water every living thing? Then will they not believe? (Quran 21:30) Dear brothers and sisters, do you ever think about the creation of this universe, do you ever think about the wordings of Quran, do you ever think about this life
and hereafter. To my extent I believe in one God because we are Muslims by herritage. We are muslims because my father and grandfather is Muslim. If I believe in one God then how possible that we believe in one Allah and tell lie just for small advantages of this world, we believe in Allah but we spend our whole life just running after krones and dollers, we believe in one Allah but just degrees and jobs are our final destiny, we believe in one Allah and we are never ever stopped to deceive others. We believe in one Allah and we are trying to collect money by all due and undue sources. We believe in one Allah but instead of loyal to Him we are more loyal to our communities, we are more loyal to our nations, we are more loyal to our tribes and we are more loyal to our caste. No no this is not believe in one Allah. We are only trying to deceive ourselves. Dear brothers and sisters lets hear whats Quran are teliing to us when we believe in one Allah: ل ن ت ن ال وا ال ب ر ح ت ى ت ن ف ق وا م ما ت ح ب ون You shall not attain righteousness, you shall not attain the love of Almighty Allah until unless you make sacrifice of those things which you loved them most.
Dear brothers and sisters, when we believe in one Allah then the way of thinking is changed, then the destinies are changed, then the standards for success and defeat is changed. Dear brothers and sisters lets tell you something from the serat of Sahaba when they decided to say ا ن ص لا ت ي و ن س ك ي و م ح ي اي و م م ات ي ہلل ر ب ال ع ال م ين Surely my Prayer, all my acts of worship, and my living and my dying are for Allah alone, the Lord of the whole universe. Dear brothers and sisters, Prophet sent some group of sahaba's towards some tribe to preach: when this group reached there, the tribesmann attacked on them. A man thrown his javelin towrds Hazrat harram and that javelin crossed his body. He fell on the ground and the fountain of blood thrown from his body but dear brothers and sisters you know what Hazar Harram said. He said I am successful. I am successful. Just think about a man who is dying hundered kms away from his house in a deserted desert but he is saying I am successful, I am successfull. That man who throwed that javelin converted into muslim just to see the Iman of hazrat Harram.
Dear brothers and sisters, do you know about Hazrat Abdullah, who was captured by some Mushrak tribes and they sold it to Abu-sufyyan. Abu sufyan told Abdullah several times to convert from his religion but he refused to accept his all offers. Then musharkeen killed him and Ravi told that his every part of body was cut. First his both hands, then both legs and then his whole body part by part. But he only said this thing. I am successfull. What is this success and how it is possible to know about this success because for us only the degrees, jobs, krones, tribes and nations are every thing. Dear brothers and sisters I want to finish this khutaba by telling the conversation between the Rabi bin Amir and persian commandar Rustam. Before the battle of Qadissiyyah the Rustam sent letter to the Muslim Commander saad bin abu Waqas to depute one of his trusted men for negotiations. Saad sent ribi bin Amir. Rustam decorated his court and all court was carpeted with cloth of gold. Ribi came to the golden carpeted floor and dismounting from his horse. He then moved forward by cutting into carpet and making holes in it with its sword and sat beside Rustam. There was long conversation between rabi and rustam whose detail can be found in any historical book but one thing which I like to mention is the question of Rustam. Rutsam asked Rabi, Just few years back Arab's were nothing, you were week. We ruled upon you and you were like goats and sheeps but now what happened
to you that you are attacking on us and you are standing in front of us. Rabi replied, Rustam you are right we were nothing, we believed in several gods. We are divided into different tribes and nations but then Prophet of Allah came to us who invited us to believe in one God and who free us from worshiping many gods. Now We promote justice and Islam in place of atrocities and false religion and we shall fight with whoever stands in our way until we go either to paradise or attain victory. Dear brothers and sisters this was the answer of Rabi and that was the conditions of Muslims at that time who although small in number but believe in only one God and were like one nation and now see our conditions. We are more than one billion but Kufar are killing us like goats and sheaps, they are making feast on our resources, they are killing our men, women and children. We are more than one billion and we also believe in one Allah but 1 million people only killed in Iraq and no tear comes out from our eyes, 100,000 people killed only in Kashmir but we did not have any feelings for them, 2 million people killed only in Afghanistan but they are Afghanis what is our concerned with them. Hazrat Abu-Hurairah said, I heard from the Prophet that soon the nations will gather together and invade you in the same way as the people invites each other to share in a feast. His companions said, O massenger of Allah that is because we will be small in number, the Prophet said No, you will be many like the foam
on the sea but you will be like the rubbish and the scum that is carried by the flood and Allah will take from the hearts of your enemy a fear of you and into your heart He, Allah will cast "Wahan". Companions said O Messenger of Allah Whats is Wahan, and Prophet said "Love of the world and fear of death" Dear brothers and sisters, It is not like so that Kuffar are making feast on our resources, taking the resources of Muslim and distributing among themselves, like we go to feast here and say that"brother take this" "brother take that" we share it out amongst each other. This is what they are doing with us not only with our natural resources but also with our intellectual resources as well, not only with our lives but also with our respect and dignity. But Instead of all these atrocities we are still divided into shia, sunni and many different sects, we are still divided into so many small nations. We are still after the small advantages of this world. Lets hear whats Allah say in surrah At-taubah

O Prophet, tell them plainly, "If your fathers and your sons, and your brothers and your wives, and your near and dear ones and the wealth which you have acquired and the trade you fear may decline and the homes which delight you-if all these things-are dearer to you than Allah and His Messenger and the struggle in His Way, then wait till Allah passes His judgment on you; or Allah does not guide the wicked people or does not guide the fasqeen" O ye who believe! what is the matter with you that, when it is said to you, go forth in the way of Allah, you sink heavily towards the earth? Would you be contented with the present life in preference to the Hereafter? But the enjoyment of the present life is but little, as compared with the Hereafter. If you will not march forth, He will punish you with a painful punishment, and will choose in your stead a people other than you, and you shall do Him no harm at all. And Allah has full power over all things. Dear brothers and sisters, the only message of today's Khutaba is Tauheed "to believe in one God" in its true sense and meninges and this we will not find until unless we read the Quran and follow the life of Prophet and Sahab's. If we will read the quran then we will find the orders of Allah, then we will find that what type of life Allah needs from us and then we will find what is real success and what is the real failure.
Dear brothers and sisters I was reciting some verses from Surrah Furqan. I have
