1 Rules and Regulations All Nasirat should attend local, regional and national Ijtema. TILAWAT-E-QUR AN Every Nasira MUST recite their Tilawat with text in front of them so no possibility of error is made to Quranic text. Judges will deduct marks for rule not followed. Most points will be allocated for BASIC pronunciation and Tajweed. Translation Reference: Maulvi Sher Ali (ra) ENGLISH & URDU SPEECH COMPETITIONS Nasirat, with guidance, should write their own speeches. Judges will award points for speech content, delivery and their content to be easily understood by children and relevant to their age group. Memorisation NOT needed. Speeches time limit: Age: minutes Age: minutes Age: minutes There will be a leeway of 15 seconds either way. So, no marks will be deducted if they are 15 seconds over or under. HIFZ-E-NAZM Verses may be repeated. Judges will mark for voice, tune/control and pronunciation. Extra marks will be awarded for originality/creativity. All Nazms MUST be memorised at Regional and National Level. HIFZ-E-QUR AN Masha Allah, due to the growing number of our Nasirat, Hifz-e-Qur an must now be tested at Local level and prizes given out at Regional level. The judges for this competition must be approved by the local Sadr, and should be chosen on her correct recitation of the Holy Qur an, and she must neither be too strict, nor too lenient. Nasirat should NOT be judged on Arabic pronunciation, translation or Tarteel for Hifz-e-Qur an. If more than one judge is required, then they should all work on the same set criteria so that all Nasirat are judged fairly. It is also permitted to invite judges from neighbouring Majalis if that is deemed more suitable by the Sadr. 1

The only worry they have every day & night, is however to please their beloved Lord. Time and time again, they give up their lives and wealth unto Him. Still, they remain fearful of the worthlessness of their sacrifice. Kalaam-e-Mahmood To the youth of the Jamaat, I wish to say a few things, but there is one condition - my message must not go unheeded. I want to give you some words of advice, Lest I be accused (of failing in my duty). He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. Nay! he shall surely be cast into the crushing punishment. And what should make thee know what the crushing punishment is? May it be that your lips always bear witness to the Oneness of God; May your heart be fragrant with the sweetness of faith. May God bestow on you such a virtuous nature, that you cannot commit any wrong Kalam-e-Tahir The Holy Master of the children of Adam Peace & blessings of Allah be upon him! 6 ی TILAWAT-E-QUR AN (Mohsinaat 13-14) Surah Al-Jumu'ah verses 1-5 In the name of Allah, the Gracious, the Merciful. Whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth glorifies Allah, the Sovereign, the Holy, the Mighty, the Wise. He it is Who has raised among the Unlettered people a Messenger from among themselves who recites unto them His Signs, and purifies them, and teaches them the Book and wisdom, although they had been, before, in manifest misguidance; And among others from among them who have not yet joined them. He is the Mighty, the Wise. That is Allah s grace; He bestows it on whom He pleases; and Allah is the Master of immense grace. Why do you habitually deny the truth you yourself are witness to? O insolent man, a dire punishment shall befall you one day For I am one who will not be touched by any fire kindled for me Kalam-e-Mahmood If I leave your doorstep, where will I go? Where will my heart find tranquillity and my soul find contentment? If I do not cry before you, where would I cry? If I do not scream before you, where would I scream? If I do not spread out my arms before you, who would I spread them before and where?
