3 NAMES OF ALLAH AL MUHMIN CONTD.. INTRODUCTION We need to think positive in life. We need to upgrade ourselves by thinking about a collective picture. Our belief in Allah will erase all the negativity in our lives. Inner Security Al Muhmin not only gives us security but He also gives us confirmation to everything that gives us security too. We have security when we believe in Allah s promises, but the one who s insecure will be harsh in his dealings. There are things in the universe that give us security, this is called universal laws e.g. 1. Fixed universal laws give us security e.g. the characteristics of objects is stable e.g. solid, liquid etc. 2. We build our home from bricks or wood to give us security. 3. The skies and the rising and setting of the sun gives us security. 4. The gravity gives us security. 5. The stretching of objects due to heat and the shrinking in the cold weather. 6. The free fall of objects give us security. 7. The job of each of our limbs is fixed and this gives us security. Allah raised the skies and placed the balance. Everything in life is balanced except for people s action will bring insecurity. All the laws in the universe to protect our five senses. No one has right to harm a person. No one has a right to harm your property, your

4 honour, your chastity and your religion. Everyone has right to feel secure. HOW TO LIVE SECURE LIFE? The answer is in Surah Al Noor Surah Al Noor 55 We cannot harm people to get security. It is only belief in Allah alone and doing righteous good deeds for His sake will give us security, unlike someone who doesn t believe thus he doesn t have anything to hold on to. What makes us to believe in Allah? Knowing Him Looking at the universal signs and ayat Doing good deeds to increase our faith Avoiding sins which decrease our faith Good companions: good friends will remind us of Allah and bad friends will remind us of he, she and it and the duniya 2

5 The more we believe and do good deeds, the more Allah will make us established. It s important we think good of Allah and know that he will do this for us. Allah will make the person who is secure to be established. We need to feel good about Allah and he will make things easy for us. We should not surround ourselves with negative people as it makes us insecure. Surah Anaam Ayah 82 This Ayah tells us how to have a secure life. 1. To have Belief 2. To not associate partner with Allah. We shouldn t ascribe perfection to anyone besides Allah. When we attach to Allah alone then He will never let us go; there will never be any disappointment. But there will always be disappointment when we attach to other than Him. There is no disappoint when you are with Allah. To live a secure life, don t scare or terrify the people. Don t disturb the security of people. Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad None of you should point out towards his Muslim brother with a weapon, for he does not know, Satan may tempt him to hit him and thus he would fall into a pit of fire (Hell)") - Sahih al-bukhari

6 Hadith of the Prophet Muhammad Abu'l-Qasim (the kunya of Allah's Messenger, may peace be upon him), said: He who pointed a weapon towards his brother the angels invoke curse upon him even if he is his real brother so long as he does not abandon it (the pointing of weapon towards one's brother Muslim).) - Sahih Muslim The one s who believe in Allah in the duniya will be given security in his journey to the Akhirah Surah Fussilat (Ayah 40) The one who believe in duniya, Allah will give security to them in akhirah. 4

7 Surah Naml (Ayah 89) Anybody who will do righteous good deeds, like smile or any small good deed, the day of judgement they will be secured. The amount of security on the day of judgement is dependent on the good deeds done by the person. For security in duniya and akhirah, fill your day with good deeds. Surely the awliya of Allah, those who believe in Allah and who do not follow their desires, they don t have any fear or any sadness. The more cautious you are, the more secure you are. Surah Ahqaf (Ayah 13) Those who proclaim that Allah is their lord, it is not just believe in the heart. They are not ashamed and they are saying with their tongue, and after affirming then they are steadfast. These people will have security even in their feelings, they will not have any fear or grieve. 5
