It is very important that we identify the classification were used in both of these passages. That indicates a change not in one s behavior, but rather in the fundamental nature of our being. The unregenerate man becomes regened through rebirth. This divine exchange is spoken of throughout Paul s epistles, and is precisely what Jesus was teaching Nicodemus. The following scriptures will give us an even fuller understanding of this truth. 2 Corinthians 5: that if One died for all, then all died; and He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them Therefore, from now on, we regard no one according to the flesh, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. This passage, based on our understanding of the regenerated and un-regenerated man, clearly illustrates the divine exchange that takes place. The born-again believer is no longer considered as flesh, or un-regenerated, but rather as new in Christ. This new identity is in fact defined as sonship, and is granted to those who receive Him. John 1: But as many as received Him, to them He gave power to become the sons of God, to them that believe on His name: Which were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh nor of man, but of God. It is essential that we recognize this birthing, not as God doing something to us, but rather what God does in us. When we truly identify Christ as the only begotten Son, we can begin to understand that His spirit living in us is how God recognizes us as sons! John 3: 16..He gave His only begotten Son,... 2 Volume 3, Issue 2 SEED FOR THE SOUL April TRUSTING THE LORD ~ Antono Gurrola May the Grace and Peace of the and Savior Jesus Christ be with you all my brothers and sisters in the faith. I would like to write to you all about trusting in God even when we can t see Him working. I know it s easier said than done, but we have to stand on His Word and on His promises. I would like to share one of my favorite parts in His Word where we see three young men completely and fully trusting in God regardless of the circumstances. In Daniel 3:12-29, even though these three young men Shadrach, Meshach, and Abendego were pressured and forced to deny God or be thrown into the fiery furnace. We see them fully place their faith and trust in the one true God knowing and believing that the God they served was more than able to save them (v.16-18). As the story goes on we not only see that God delivered them, we also see that He was with them through the fire! That having being said, whenever we are going through the fire or through the storms of life, we have to trust in Him with all our hearts (Proverbs 3: 5-6). I know firsthand that when we are going through those things it s hard to trust in Him, but God knows what s best for us. He has brought us this far and you best believe that He will carry us the rest of the way, and will not be done with us until the day that He returns (Philippians 1:6). Last but not least my brothers and sisters, let s continue to pray for one another and continue to trust in the even when those trials and tribulations come our way. He is always working behind the scenes of our lives for He Himself has said, Never will I leave you, Never will I forsake you. (Hebrews 13:5) Amen!!! THOUGHTS ON FAITH ~ Richard Moore Law of Contrast (Isaiah 14: 12-14) Satan is a murderer. What does this tell us? 1. The nature of self-exaltation (sin) in it s pure adulterated form (essence) is the personification of evil. It will destroy everything else in the interest of self-preservation (fear) leading us to conclude 2. Sin nature (satan) is the negative to all that is true and righteous (divine nature) Darkness / Light - Fear / Love Error / Truth - Death / Life Doubt / Faith - Satan / God These are mutually exclusive opposites God made it this way (Genesis 1: 4) See the following verses: 1 John 1:5, 1 John 2:21, 1 John 4:18, John 5:24, John 8:44, Acts 26: The negative is necessary in order for the positive to have any power or force. These things are, by definition, the absence of the other. They can be defined no other way. For example, attempt to define truth apart from the concept of error. It cannot be done. There can be no meaningful manifestation of the truth apart from the concept (existence) of error. It s the positive and negative coming together that creates power or force. In conclusion, God allowed satan/sin to operate and enter the world to provide the necessary negative that He might manifest who He is by way of contrast. Also and equally, providing the necessary moral choice/options required in a free will decision to love. The law of contrast is an integral part of our understanding of the gospel and the nature of reality Knowing God from the beginning.

I thank my God always concerning you for the grace of God which was given you in Christ Jesus, that in everything you were enriched in Him in all speech and all knowledge, so that you are not lacking in any gift, awaiting eagerly the revelation of our Jesus Christ. I pray that God will continue to pass over your lives as we celebrate Passover, I pray that the see s the precious blood of the Lamb applied to your Christian walk This is our due season for every Christian who has put their trust in the risen Savior, our season for increase, a season for divine healing a season to call those things that be not as though they were!!! I declare and decree this is due season, so don t grow weary in well doing for we shall all reap if we faint not. Remember your breakthrough is in your PRAISE!!! Love, Elder E. Walker. TESTIMONIAL ~ Derek Dormna Three years ago today I was in max. security jail sitting on a mandatory minimum of 7.5 years in prison, getting drunk off hooch with a few fellow inmates in celebration of St. Patty s day. A few months prior to that I was in the process of destroying my life. I had no identity. I didn t know who I was so I wore a mask. I had an uncontrollable anger issue and I was bound by lust and confusion. The six months leading up to my arrest date my foster mother had passed so I was trying to turn my life around in honor of her (Isabel Espinosa RIP LOVED Jesus with all her heart). I was a full time college student, I had my own apartment, my bills were paid, I was getting grants from school and I had a nice car, a girlfriend, and a couple good friends. I was going to church and I even got baptized. But I neglected and abused all of those blessings including my relationship with God. I drove the car without a license and got both revoked. I didn t take my grades serious and was failing my classes, I was squandering all my money instead of saving it, I punched and shot holes in my apartment and let people destroy it. I had an unhealthy dysfunctional relationship with my girlfriend and I was EXTREMELY selfish and took advantage of all my friends. I renounced God every time I didn t get my way and I was 100% controlled and governed by my emotions (which were erratic and unhealthy). One day, being led by those emotions changed my life forever. I put a gun in someone s face and threatened to blow their brains out. About two months later, I was given a mandatory presumptive of 7.5 years. After 4 months in jail I died to myself and surrendered my life to Jesus Christ in exchange for my

4 Volume 3, Issue 2 SEED FOR THE SOUL April freedom. Little did I know, I d not only be set free on the outside, but I was set free on the inside. About a week later I was released from jail. A couple months after that I was convicted of my charges and given a sentence of 3 years on probation. My judge said that I was the first person in her entire career to get probation for my charge. She said Never in my entire life of being a judge have I ever seen anyone with this charge NOT go to prison. The last three years have been a constant battle between the old man I was and the new creation I am in Christ. But Christ is the victor every time. I used to love me (at least I pretended to). Now I m in love with who I am in Christ. I look in the mirror and I see a great man. I see an accomplished man. Not that there isn t work to be done in me because LORD KNOWS I am wretched and dirty. But I mean I believe the accomplished His mission to get me in His kingdom and in His love. Now, 3 years later... I m about to be off probation, I have a car, I have my bills paid, I am a full time college student, I am learning how to save money, I have healthy friendships that I cherish and the Holy Spirit is teaching me how to be selfless, I have healthy emotions and I am learning not to be governed by them, I appreciate and take care of the home I live in. I even have a spiritual mother who is what my foster mother was to me before she passed. I m no longer angry and most importantly my relationship with Jesus is my #1 priority above all... God has restored everything I destroyed, and he s giving me a 2nd chance to steward His blessings and live my life the right way this time. I trust Him with my life and my decisions. The last 3 years have been a mercurial bittersweet hell and a half but I love who I am because of it. Many people are skeptical about the gospel, but you can t argue a changed life, homie... Thank you Jesus for saving me from the pit of hell. And thank you, for saving me from myself. And thanks to all y all who ve kept it real with me and have loved me through my journey Happy St. Patty s day.
