Offerings by the Institute for Liturgy and Spirituality To view the winter/spring schedule with course descriptions, details and deadlines go to Registration required for all courses. There is no online registration for Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion & Lector training Level I. However a printable registration form is available online or at your parish office. Standard course fees: $4 per class hour per person; $3 per class hour per person when two or more register for the same class from the same parish. Members of these parishes that pay the annual fee attend free of charge: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, Christ the King in Southaven, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, St. Augustine, St. Louis, St. Brigid and Church of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Approval This course of study is a three year intensive program for adults, which leads participants from basic catechesis to the threshold of the study of Catholic theology. It is organized around the four major constitutions of the Second Vatican Council. By focusing around these constitutions we cover the length, breadth, height and depth of Catholic faith and practice. The learning process is one that involves the engagement of each participant in discussion, prayer and personal faith sharing. Along with the director, Fr. Bruce Cinquegrani, priests and professional religious educators from the diocese will also serve as instructors. A light supper is available before each class 5:30 for $5 per person.
