The joy of salvation that the Lord bestowed on me on that day, still remains in my heart even today. I praise Him for His constant grace that has been guarding me from that day till now. 3 I will multiply thee exceedingly. Genesis 17:2. I have been acquainted with a brother who is in business. Once, he shared with me certain events from his life: He launched his business against all odds. Every day, he had to sell the items that he had produced and only with the money earned, he could buy things for the next day's production. In those difficult circumstances, if any servant of the Lord visited him, he found it difficult to give an offering of even fifty rupees and this pained him a lot. Even if he had fifty rupees less, he couldn't buy material for the next day's business. He used to feel sorry about his inability to part with even fifty rupees as offering. One day, when a servant of the Lord came to pray for him, he could hear the voice of the Lord speaking to him: First, give to my servant; I shall then bless you. So, from the money he had kept aside for the next day's business, he took an amount and offered to the man of God and sent him. From that day on, God began to bless him. As he was giving more and more, the Lord began to multiply his business exceedingly. Today, his business and the number of employees working for him have greatly expanded. A few years ago when he met me, he was extremely thrilled as he shared his experience with me. He said, Today, by God's grace, I offer Rs. 35,000 each week for the Lord's ministry. After a few months, again when he spoke to me on telephone, he said, The Lord has blessed and expanded my business so much that I am able to give an offering of 50 thousand rupees each week for ministry. See how true is the promise of the Lord, I will multiply thee exceedingly. (Gen. 17:2) The Lord who has promised, I will bless you and multiply you (Heb. 6:14), is giving you yet another promise today: I will multiply thee exceedingly. (Gen. 17:2) The Lord who had given His promise to Abraham and also fulfilled it in his life, shall do the same for you too. Jesus Redeems 1 March 2009

4 He shall exceedingly increase your wisdom! He shall increase your anointment! He shall greatly enhance your well being! He shall increase your income exceedingly! He shall greatly expand your business and your industry! He shall multiply your property! He shall exceedingly expand your ministry! He shall exceedingly multiply your family! You shall multiply exceedingly. It is the Lord's desire that you shall multiply. However, to witness the expansion of your blessings, you should do something. The Lord who has given us His promise, has given us his commandment too. Only when we obey His commandment and follow it in our life, can we realize the full extent of the blessing of His promise. The Lord who had given the promise, I will multiply thee exceedingly, to Abraham had also given him a command: the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect. And I will make my covenant between me and thee, and will multiply thee exceedingly. (Gen. 17:1,2). Walk before me, and be thou perfect. This is the command of the Lord! It was because Abraham was perfect before the Lord, that He blessed him and multiplied him exceedingly as He had promised. Today God tells you, My daughter, my son, walk before me, and be thou perfect. I shall bless you and multiply you. The LORD shall be with the good. (II Chron. 19:11) No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. (Psalms 84:11) The Lord has given these promises to those who are upright. Who is the upright? What does walking uprightly entail? What does the holy Bible say in this regard? Let us meditate on this and dedicate ourselves to be good and upright. ONE WHO IS PATIENT IS UPRIGHT! The patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit (Ecc. 7:8). When God made promise to Abraham (He said) surely blessing, I will bless thee and multiplying I will multiply thee. And so, after he patiently endured, he obtained the promise. (Heb. 6: 13 15) Abraham was a patient man. God appeared to Abraham when he was 75 and gave His promise (Gen. 12:4). When this promise was fulfilled, he was 100 years old (Gen. 21:5). Abraham was patiently waiting for 25 long years, to get his promise fulfilled. On the other hand, we are always impatient. If God makes us a promise in the morning, we expect its fulfillment by evening. But, God shall fulfill His promise in its time, in His own pace. We should wait patiently for His time. For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. (Heb. 10:36). Jesus Redeems 2 March 2009

5 In the year 1972, God graciously met me and gave me salvation. As soon as I was saved, I started praying for the salvation of my family. As I was praying for them, God made this promise to me: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. (Acts 16:31). I believed that my family will be saved in fulfillment of this promise. I often used to pray repeating this promise; yet, years were passing by and no one in my family experienced salvation. I, on my part, believed that somehow or the other the Lord would save them as He had promised. After a long waiting of 8 years, the Lord met my mother and she began to read the Bible and pray. We had a 'puja room' in our house, known as the 'temple house'. The room had pictures of Gods and brass lamps with which they used to worship God. I used to pray in one room and in this puja room, my family used to conduct worship. During such times, I never ever argued with my family saying, These objects are despicable; throw them out. I was only praying, repeating the Lord's promise. One day, as I returned home after doing ministry in another town, I found those pictures and lamps missing from that room. I enquired with my mother about this matter and she replied, I really don't know how it came about! Your father came in unexpectedly and said, 'Throw away all these pictures; let us from now on worship only Jesus.' Thus the Lord met my father too and he entered into his heavenly abode with the experience of salvation. My grandmother was responsible for bringing me up as a devout person; I was praying for her salvation too, repeating God's promise. The Lord met her too and saved her. In our family which was a Hindu family for generations, my Grandmother had the first Christian funeral service. Thus I had to wait patiently for many years for my family to turn to the Lord one by one. Yet, the unchanging God of promises fulfilled His promise at the right time. God shall fulfill His promise in your life too at the right time. Wait patiently and receive the blessing of His promise. The promises that the Lord made, when He called me to His ministry, took 20 long years for their fulfillment and I had to wait patiently till then. But, what a joy it is to see them happening! As you wait for the realization of the promises, you may have to encounter trials and tribulations. You my be faced with circumstances leading to the doubt, Will this promise be fulfilled at all? Just think of the Biblical verse, patient in tribulation; (Romans 12:12) At the end, you will realize the miracle in your life. Fulfilling His promise, I shall bless you and multiply you, (Heb. 6:14) certainly He shall bless you and multiply you. ONE WHO LOVES GOD IS UPRIGHT! The upright love thee (Song 1:4), proclaims a devotee to the Lord. That is, those who love God are upright! Jesus Redeems 3 March 2009

6 Abraham loved the Lord very deeply. He lived so close to God that he was known to be the friend of the Lord (James 2:23). Abraham loved God to such an extent that the Lord himself proclaimed, Abraham is my friend (Isa. 41:8). We too shall love the Lord as Abraham did. We all love the Lord; but, do we love him up to His expectations? Let us think! And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment. (Mark 12:30) So said Jesus Christ. Hence, we shall love the Lord with all our heart, all our soul, all our mind and all our strength. Do we love Him much more than we love our loved ones in this world? If we love Him so much we will never murmur against Him. We will never accuse Him whatever may happen to us. Job lost his entire possessions; even then, he never blamed the Lord. The reason was that he loved the Lord more ardently than he loved his children, his property and all that he owned. We too should love him so much. The founder of 'Thuthi' ministry in Madurai, my dear brother Sankar, was taken into the heavenly glory by the Lord a few years ago. The news of his death was a big blow to me. With tears, my family and the brothers of Jesus Redeems Team rushed to Madurai. On the way, within myself I had this perplexity: Bro Sankar's family is a Hindu family and they are slowly getting to know the Lord only now. This death may affect them and draw them away from the Lord. We reached Madurai. When I observed Bro. Sankar's sisters, one of them told me, When my brother was alive, he used to tell us, 'Jesus our father will do everything for our good. So, whatever happens, we shall only praise Him.' Now that the Lord has taken away my brother, we think that even this may be for good, and we praise the Lord. I was astonished at the dimension of love that they had for the Lord which never questioned or murmured against Him but only continued with praise, even at the event of such a great loss! Do we love Him to this extent? Only those who love Him are upright, and God will love only the upright and the good and multiply them. ONE COMMENDED BY THE LORD IS UPRIGHT! For not he that commendeth himself is approved, but whom the Lord commendeth (II Corin. 10:18). The Lord commends Abraham thus: he will command his children and his household after him, and they shall keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him. (Gen. 18:19) Thus Abraham was leading a life dear to the Lord and that was why the Lord blessed Abraham and multiplied him. We too should lead a life to be commended by the Lord. Daniel received a testimony that he was greatly beloved to the Lord (Daniel 9:23). The reason was that Daniel was prayerful and standing at the gap, he was praying for his nation and his people. 7 the Lord. You too should pray for the others and for the nation standing at the gap to be praised by the Lord. When the centurion came seeking Jesus and prayed to Him, his strong faith surprised Jesus so much that He praised him for his faith thus: " Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." (Matt. 8:10) We too should have such a strong faith in Jesus Christ (Heb. 11:6). A poor widow who visited the church dropped the last of her coins for God in the offertory box. When Jesus took notice of this, he commented, That this poor widow hath cast more in, than all they which have cast into the treasury (Mark 12:43). Thus he commended the widow's offering. Do we give so much as to be praised by the Lord? offering? Does God bear testimony to our God testified of his (Abel's) gifts (Heb. 11:4). Will God testify of our gifts? Once, at the end of a prayer meeting, when I was praying for the needy, I laid my hands on an elderly lady's head and immediately the Holy Spirit revealed to me all her problems and induced me to pray for them. When I was praying for her, tears rolled down her eyes. After returning home I asked the Lord, Lord, you used me to pray for hundreds of people. But about one woman you gave a special revelation and asked me to pray; why? Then God replied: That daughter of mine never demands anything for herself whenever she prays. She always entreats me, only for the others. Her prayer is dear to me. Thus God testified of her. Today, what kind of testimony can the Lord give for you? Those who are commended by the Lord are upright! And he shall bless and multiply the upright. You too shall commit yourself to lead a life commended by the Lord. The Lord shall bless you too and multiply you exceedingly. Please offer this prayer in faith: The Lord of blessings! I thank you for giving me the promise, I will multiply thee exceedingly! I dedicate myself to wait patiently for the blessings of the promise! Lord, I commit myself to love you with all my heart, all my mind and all my strength! Father! I dedicate myself to lead a life in such a way as to be commended by you! Transform me to be beloved of you! As you have promised, you are blessing me and multiplying me exceedingly. 8 News from House of God - Nalumavadi:- IN THIRAPPIN VAASAL PRAYER CAMP GOD GAVE US VICTORY! In obedience to God's commission to stand up in the gap for prayer for the nation, we have been conducting Thirappin Vaasal Fasting Prayer Camp every year during Pongal holidays. Accordingly, this year, the fourth such camp was held on 14,15,16 Jan. 2009, by God's grace. The prayer warriors, 5000 in number, who stood at the gap for prayer, were double the number than in the previous year. That He would reveal himself during the meetings as the God of Victory, as spoken by the Holy Spirit in the beginning itself, kindled the faith of everyone. God dealt with the Camp in a way, different from other camps. He brought to the camp Bro. Bernard Blessing (Ghana), a mighty prophet of God over the world and used him to bring the impact of the spiritual revival. The messages by Bro. Vincent Selva kumar ("Voice of Jesus', Ramanathapuram) on why we should pray for India and what will happen when we pray, exposed the wiles of Satan. God brought to light the events that are going to happen in the country. The eyes of the souls were opened. The congregation was filled with the spirit of prayer, as Bro. Mohan C. Lazarus, Bro. A. Appadurai, Bro. Lional (BYM), Bro. Sam Jebaraj began speaking. In the evenings, God's children prayed in groups, with the map of the State and the District in view in front of them. 10 News from Tirunelveli Dist:- MIGHTY THINGS OF THE LORD IN TIRUNEVELI! It was God's grace that we celebrated the First Deliverance Festival for the year on 22,23,24,25 Jan. 09, converting it into the Blessed Festival in Tirunelveli. It was God's will that the first two days were conducted as Deliverance Festival and the latter two days as Family Blessing Festival. A crowd over 1½ lakhs had flocked to the ground from all corners, thirsting for the Word. We conducted the meeting with full submission to the Holy Spirit. God triumphed over the enemy, who had been cunningly operating against the meeting in every possible way. On the inaugural day, God had collected so large a crowd that the late-comers had to stay outside, leaving no space on the ground. Each meeting was attended by several pastors and other servants of God. Repentance with contrite tears was visible. Two elderly people, crippled on wheel chair, were healed. Those overpowered by suicidal impulse were delivered. The bondages were broken. Miracle receivers queued up to give testimony to God's glory. Bro. Mohan C. 11 A few of the number of miracles Jesus did in Tirunelveli meeting... MADE ME WALK! I was brought to the meeting only on a wheel chair, being unable to do anything of my own for 20 years. On taking the tablets continuously, I could walk only a little. I cried unto God, in conjunction with the Brothers to heal me. Instantly, I felt the sweep of power in me, spurring me to stand up and walk. Praise God! I can freely use my limbs now! - Chelladurai, Thalaippatti. EVIL SPIRIT GONE AWAY! 13 P R A Y! A C T! It has been God's pleasure that we should cover the nation with prayer and fill it with God's Word to ensure a Blessed Tamil Nadu. 14 Come on! Let us Arise and Rebuild! By God's grace the raising of God's Tabernacle has been a non-stop job. As the number of people attending the Thirappin Vaasal Prayer is ever on an increase, there arose a pressing need to undertake the extension of the building, so as to accommodate the additional congregation without any discomfort. In the face of the emerging situation, it was felt that the two separate plots of land lying adjacent to ours, could meet the demand for more space. After much prayer, God helped us to buy one such A HOUSE OF OUR OWN WORTH RS. 20 LAKHS! We had offered Rs. 700/- prayerfully towards the God's Tabernacle. God took this into account, and enabled us to purchase 7½ cents of land. We started building a house there with only Rs. 1,80,000/- on hand, humbly extending a prayer request to the Jesus Redeems Prayer group. Incredibly, God opened the ways to complete the new house with the total expenditure of Rs. 20 lakhs. It is all through God's grace! - Ponraj, Hosur. 17 RBI concerned over inflow of fake currency Reserve Bank of India, Governor Y V Reddy asked all banks to take stringent measures for preventing circulation of fake currency notes that can jeopardise the country's economy. Fake currency is a grave threat to the economy and the onus to prevent its circulation is on RBI, banks, Centre, the state governments and security agencies, he said. He also directed RBI officials to keep a vigil on banks and ATM centres from where complaints of issuance of fake currency notes were received. Reddy said if fake currency was issued from any bank's ATM, that bank would be held responsible and strict action would be taken against it. Ever since more than Rs 2 crore worth of fake currency was found at a State Bank of India branch in Uttar Pradesh, the RBI and the state economic offences wing have stepped into action. Police sources estimate that in the last one month alone close to Rs 50 crore worth of fake currency is suspected to have come across the borders. During the first three months of this fiscal, 69,918 notes were detected to be fake, finance minister P Chidambaram said in answer to a separate question. "Chennai is the major hub for bringing in fake currency notes. The printing usually takes place in Pakistan and the notes are then sent to a Gulf country. From there it is sent to Malayasia before being off loaded in Chennai, a senior finance ministry official said. Some time back, CBI had also in a report stated that Chennai is emerging as a major hub for fake notes. (Rediffnews.com, NDTV Profit, The Financial Express) 45 BONDED LABORERS ALONG WITH 19 CHILDREN RESCUED! 19 children and 45 bonded labourers were rescued by the public, when they were shifted from Bangalore to Kerala in a container lorry. They are all from Karnataka, Chitradurga, and the cable laying company of Bangalore which has a contract with Kerala Electricity Board was taking them to Kerala. They had travelled for 18 hours, from 5 am in a packed container without light or air circulation. They were not even given water to drink.
