2 Brian s Testimony I was born in Inverness, FL and raised in a Christian home. I accepted the Lord as my savior at the age of 5 on the back floorboard of my mother's Pinto after a discussion about Heaven and Hell. A couple years later, I was baptized at Faith Baptist Church in Homosassa, FL. In 1988, my family moved to Midland, TX and after some searching, found a church home in Kelview Heights Baptist Church. When I was in high school, I began volunteering with my youth group, first with the sound and media and later leading a student-led small group. A month after graduating high school in 1998, I left for 6 years of service in the Navy's nuclear power program. About a year into my contract, I surrendered to the call to missions, although I had no idea when or where that would be. In 2004, not long after finishing my time with the Navy, I had the opportunity to work with an international children's choir for 7 months. That is where I met my wife, Jezel. Although we were not allowed to date, we soon became good friends and pursued a romantic relationship only after she left the choir and flew back to the Philippines. I had the opportunity to visit the Philippines and work with a small, new church there for a year. During that time, we got married. Once back in the U.S., we both immediately began volunteering with Kelview's youth department. At the time, I was working for Midland County, but had to leave in order to pursue my degree in Information Technology. When that happened, I was offered a chance to intern over the summer at Kelview. That internship turned into an hourly paid office position, and a year in that position led to me being hired as the Media Minister. In September of 2014, I went on a mission trip to Cambodia. I told the Lord that I was open to any field He called me to, but I wanted to be sure in my heart that it was the one He wanted me in. By the end of the trip, I felt that God was finally telling me that it was time to go to the Philippines.

3 Jezel s Testimony I was born in Cebu City, Philippines. I lived near a Christian college built by American missionaries. There was a church that used the college facilities every Sunday. Even though we were catholics, my papa took us to that church. One day in Sunday school, my teacher was teaching us about John 3:16. The truth of an assured, eternal life in Heaven stuck out in my mind. The following Sunday, I accepted Jesus Christ as my personal Savior, and I was baptized the next year. Later, Mr. & Mrs. Duffield, a couple from California, came to serve in our church. They loved us so much, and they showed a great testimony as missionaries. When I was in fourth grade, our teacher asked us to write about "what we want to be when we grow up." I wrote that I wanted to be a missionary like Mr. & Mrs Duffield. In college, I learned how to present the gospel to my fellow college students. I also volunteered to teach the Bible on weekends for a sponsorship program for the poor children of Cebu. As soon as I got out of college, I volunteered to travel in the United States for 9 months as a chaperone for an international children's choir. That is where I met my husband, Brian. A couple of months after the tour, Brian followed me to the Philippines and we got married. We lived there for a year as shortterm missionaries. For 6 years, Brian and I volunteered in the youth department at Kelview Heights Baptist Church. Later, I worked as a church secretary at Kelview. I knew that God was still calling us to be missionaries, I just didn t know when or where. In 2012, I started to work in the Oil & Gas industry as an accountant. I had two children, a great church family, and a job I loved. I was satisfied to stay where we were until Brian came back from a Cambodian mission trip. He really felt that God wanted us to be missionaries to the Philippines. When he asked me about it, I had the peace that only comes from God. I know God wants us to serve and I am looking forward to doing so in my homeland with my family.

Our Ministry Our focus will be seeing Filipinos come to know Christ through the spreading and preaching of the Gospel.

Our plan is to plant our first church in an area known as Cebu I.T. Park. This area used to be a small airfield used for training pilots.

So far, only about half of the area has been developed at this point, so much more growth is expected in the coming years. I.T.

4 Our Ministry Our focus will be seeing Filipinos come to know Christ through the spreading and preaching of the Gospel. When these believers begin to meet together to learn, edify one another, and worship corporately, a new church is born. In other words, our primary goal will be planting churches. Our plan is to plant our first church in an area known as Cebu I.T. Park. This area used to be a small airfield used for training pilots. Now it is home to multiple call centers, condominiums, restaurants, and other businesses. So far, only about half of the area has been developed at this point, so much more growth is expected in the coming years. I.T. Park is only about 1/10 of a square mile, and yet an estimated 100,000 Filipinos work or live in this neighborhood. Most work for call centers that cater to the United States and therefore work all night and sleep during the day. Sadly, no churches or missionaries are making an attempt to reach this huge sea of people. We want to change that. Another area where we see an opportunity to spread the Gospel is with those who have been rescued out of the world of human trafficking. We are still doing a great deal of research and are praying that God will open all the doors necessary to turn such an awful tragedy into the hope of eternal salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord! God has seen fit to give you and your church the opportunity to share in His future work in Cebu and the surrounding regions.
