5 ADULT BIBLE STUDY Kerygma Program The parables Thursdays 9:30-11:30am or 7:30-9:30pm March 5, 12, 19, 26, April 2, April 16 & 23. We may be tempted to underestimate the power of the parables. We may think of them as nice stories that teach a moral, or as lessons presented as stories to make them a little more interesting. In this study we will look more closely at these familiar scriptures opening our minds to the idea that parables are profound, and often complex. These are dynamic stories that can change our lives. Please join us for a discussion of this relevant topic. This is the story of a young mother grappling with the ramifications of her young son's diagnosis with autism, written by an author with an autistic child of her own. Melanie Marsh has what seems to be the perfect life: an American woman living abroad in London, she and her husband, Stephen, have two beautiful children.
