2 Local Missions Monday Pray for all our Centers as we start the New Year. Pray for F and M as they are homeless and living in their van in the desert. They are looking for housing and work. Pray for God s overwhelming comfort and peace for the Doherty family. They lost their young son Hollis. Pray for client M s eye. She s having surgery the middle of January. Praise for winter visitors that have returned to volunteer. Tuesday Pray for S as she starts a new job. Please pray for the Phoenix Center s new home -- praise that construction is finished! Pray for the physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing of our staff, volunteers, and clients. Pray for women in the neighborhoods surrounding the Phoenix Center. That they become aware of the Center. Praise the Lord for all our partners that gave so generously so our clients could provide Christmas for their families. Wednesday Pray that our women and children would experience Christ s love every time they walk through our doors. Pray for our clients to seek out healthy relationships! Pray for D as she is struggling with grief, anger, and health issues. Pray for wisdom, discernment, and grace as we work with the families in the Parent University program. Praise the Lord for all of our volunteers and their dedication to serving through the ministries of Hope Women s Center. Thursday Pray for Client E as she battles cancer. Pray for healing and that God will draw her to Himself in this season. Praise the Lord M and G had healthy babies over the Christmas break. Praise the Lord for hearts open to the Gospel and opportunities to share. Pray for the spiritual growth of new believers in all three Centers. Pray that they would be able to get connected in a church family. Pray for Client D as she is dealing with physical and mental health issues and has isolated herself and is in great need. Friday Pray for peace for client S who struggles with debilitating anxiety. Pray for wisdom and love with every phone call. Pray for our new volunteers as they go through the training program. Pray for client G as she is a young woman who is very angry and has just recently lost her father. Pray for clients D, J, and E for their salvation. They are attending parenting and pregnancy classes and are all three involved in the occult. Pray for safety at our new Phoenix Center and for protection of the property.

3 Osborn Health and Rehab Ministry Sunday Please pray for Carl, the new Administrator, that he hire and schedule workers who care for the residents with dignity and justice. Ask our Father to bring S close to Jesus, that he would know that Jesus forgives his sins of the past. For God to bring S to faith in Christ. Her mom is staying with her in the room. For God to raise up incredible staff for these dear ones. Monday Please pray for J, that God heal her and restore her. Pray for I, that God heal her husband and that perhaps they can be together at Osborn as he is healing. Ask God to touch P, that God has forgiven her in Jesus. That God would speak truth to her, and overcome some of her Catholic training. Tuesday Please pray for T, that God heal her body so that she can eat physical food. She is being fed through a tube at this time; she is in her 30 s. Pray for T, that God bring him music, people and his family to love him. Ask God to heal P s roommate at Osborn. Wednesday Ask God to provide ideas, volunteers, and musical activities that stimulate the mind and body, with Molly Johnson, the activities director, and her staff Pray for C to draw near God s love and for healing. Ask the Lord of the Harvest for 4 new members of the leadership team with a heart for these residents. Thursday Please pray for the nutritional staff, that they make good decisions on how they provide for the residents. Please pray for each person on the leadership team: Beth, Linda, Mardette, Elaine, Keith, Kim and David, that we listen to God and how to respond to the needs. Ask God to heal M of her arthritis. She is in much pain, that God would comfort her. Friday Ask our Father to raise up 4 men and women from CBC who will adopt a resident, and participate in the Order of Worship on the first and third Sundays. Pray for pianists from CBC who can play for the Worship Services at Osborn. Praise God for I being restored. For God to continue working in her heart. Saturday Ask God for 2 more community groups to catch a vision for these dear ones, playing games, reading books and the Bible, listening to music and listening. Pray for I, for a clear understanding of God s love in Jesus. Ask God to bless the activities of the Holm s community group

4 Global Missions Missionary Spotlight Isaias and Ginny Colop-Xec Guatemala The Colop-Xec family works among the Quiche people of southwestern Guatemala. The Quiches are the largest (numbering two million people) of the 22 indigenous tribes of Mayan descent in Guatemala. Isaias is from the Quiche tribe. There are many churches among the Quiches, but they are making very little impact in the nation. There is much legalism within the church and many mix traditional Mayan beliefs and practices with Christianity. For this reason, the Colop-Xecs are working to teach and train church leaders so that their churches will become beacons of light in a dark place. They are very encouraged to see Quiches becoming true servants of God. This is the grace of God working in people s lives. Spiritual warfare is recognized as the source of many tribulations stimulating more requests for prayer in this area.

5 Moffitt, Bob and Judy: USA Sun. 1/29, 2/12 Pray for an effective week with training YWAM students in Lausanne, Switzerland 2/6-10. Pray the same for students in three locations in Columbia 2/24-3/1. Ask the Lord to bring appropriate participants to our DNA Forum in Prescott AZ, 3/6-9. Landro, Doug and Marina: Ukraine Mon. 1/30, 2/13 Pray for our lead church s Evangelism School for Leaders 2/6-10. Pray for our second semester of Roma youth mentorship for 10 weeks starting 2/15. They learn to write business plans to submit for sponsorship. Pray for an exploratory partnership with Gospel in Action 2/23-3/1. Pray for Clinton as he is in the US 1/19-2/28 to raise up new supporters. Blanchard, Marie: Spain Tues. 1/31, 2/14 marieasu@yahoo.com Praise and prayer for the student leadership training classes I co-teach, we need wisdom and creativity. Pray for the student council to be making good plans, for diligence and teamwork as they prepare for the high school banquet on 2/11. Pray for the administrative team to have wisdom in all our decisions as we begin planning for next year. Pray for the urgent staff needs including 2 elementary teachers and an ELL secondary teacher. Pray I would depend more on the Lord, spend more time in prayer each day as I grow in my relationship with Him. Blanchard, Tom and Lucy: France Wed. 2/1, 2/15 tomblanchard@gmail.com, lucyblanchard@gmail.com Praise our church in Haguenau presented the Christmas message and short concert 5 times in one afternoon to full crowds. Pray eyes were opened and hearts softened. Pray for my teaching OT in Lyon 2/ Doing a late Friday eve and all day Sat. is harder for me now. Praise the biopsy on my eyelid was negative, just something to keep an eye on. Goodman, Craig and Ruth: USA Thurs. 2/2, 2/16 cgoodman@maf.com, RGoodman@maf.com Pray we keep up with the daily responsibilities of finding parts, getting advice on repairs, clarification of maintenance manuals, cost of repairs, etc. Pray for safety as roads here are slippery, snow and freezing rain even kept us from working a couple of days. Continue prayer for MAF Haitian relief and for more pilots and mechanics to join MAF. Pray for the Lord to meet our large support shortfall. Pray for Julianne as she works through some significant life questions.

6 Picard, François and Valérie: Quebec Fri. 2/3, 2/17 Pray for conflict resolution within the Board of Elders of several churches which is slowing the expansion of the gospel. Pray for my coaching of these elders. Pray for an alliance of elders, pastors, church planters to combine strengths and spiritual gifts to reach the Montreal West Island area. Praise and prayer for the Vaudreuil Church where many are being trained to become shepherds, and for a relief team to be rising. Pray my son will lead a soul to Christ at school. Richardson, Kurt and Susie: USA Sat. 2/4, 2/18 kurt.richardson@cru.org, susie.richardson@cru.org Praise God for 9 new believing students in the Middle East Pray for a new team to replace them as this location is becoming a harder sell. Pray 20 graduating seniors for the NE join our three teams overseas. Pray for a BIOLA team who may join our S. Africa summer mission. Pray for mobilization of 300k Christian college students in the US. Colop-Xec, Isaias and Virginia: Guatemala Sun. 2/5, 2/19 colopshep@gmail.com Pray for Pastor Cotiy whose daughter Juana, married 1 month ago, went to live with her in-laws and is being mistreated by them and refusing to take her for medical care needs. Pray for our student Agusto, who resigned as pastor from his church plant since his supervising pastor wouldn t allow him to follow biblical principles in problem resolution there. Pray God provides another place for him to serve. Pray for David as he learns and adjusts to helping us with administrative tasks and for the Lord s guidance for his future plans. Oliveira, Cleiton and Elly: Brazil Mon. 2/6, 2/20 coliveira@harvestfoundation.org, eoliveira@harvestfoundation.org Pray for renewal of our pastors, missionaries and church leaders and give them wisdom, physical protection and discernment. May the Lord reveal Himself to the groups we serve; the Guaranys, inmates and Haitian immigrants. Pray for my next trip to Brazil in March and all our work in Pray for partners who can provide $15/month to support our ministry. Praise God for our young leaders who work daily in areas of violence and injustice; assaults, murders, physical abuse, as a result of drug traffic. Through the word, prayer and community relationships they are agents of transformation. Older leaders are learning from them and 31 new Harvest workers have been commissioned. Sinko, Pavel and Jane: Slovakia Tues. 2/7, 2/21 sinko@lc.psg.sk Pray for Jane and me as we take part in the School of Counseling meeting to focus on supervision and trauma, and that God would bless this time. Pray for the preparation meeting the second week of Feb. as we prepare the seminar, for it to be an encouragement and time of equipping for ministry. Feb a Slovak youth conference for Christian Slovaks is expecting to have 400 young people. Pray for this to encourage them in their spiritual walk.

7 Nziramakenga, Simon: Rwanda Wed. 2/8, 2/22 Praise many local people came to Christ at Christmas and New Year s in our church. Praise our primary school passed the national exam with high scores and will be promoted to the best high schools. Half of those twenty children are sponsored by families in Phoenix, including CBC. Pray for more scholarships. Pray we will receive the Lord s blessing for our Nyarutarama for Jesus outreach, and we would reach every person in a wholistic manner. Our plans are to build a house for a widow, food for the poor, Samaritan Strategy and the Jesus Film. Banegas, Jonathan and Elena: Spain Thurs. 2/9, 2/23 jonathan.banegas@spain.younglife.org The most life changing experience in YL is the YL USA Camp. Feb. 6 is the deadline to have host families commit in San Diego, Chicago, and Seattle, or we will need to cancel. Please pray. Pray for the 30 students signed up to attend meetings about this camp and for more to be recruited in Feb. Pray for our YL Western Europe Prayer Summit on 2/3-5, a very important time of prayer and fasting for staff, volunteers and committee members. Feb. 28 Judith, our oldest, takes the exam for medical residency and 13,000 are competing for 1,000 openings. Please pray. Mateene, Buingo and Esther: DR Congo Fri. 2/10, 2/24 matbuingo@rocketmail.com Esther s vascular problems need supervision every 3-6 months per her doctor in Belgium. Pray for her needs of vascular bandages, physiological serum and other medicines. Esther needs to return to Belgium this year. Pray provision for all these things. Please keep praying for the equipment needed to show The Jesus Film. The political system and danger in the DRC has made the price of food unbearable. Pray for safety and peace as the people desire to see a change in power. We still need prayer for us to buy land for a place to worship and for trainings. Roldan, Marlon and Yoyit: Philippines Sat. 2/11, 2/25 marlon.roldan@caremin.com Pray for relief, recovery and development of 35,955 households affected by landslides and flooding from the typhoon in Mindoro, Visayas and Mindanao. Praise God for provisions to continue the leader training for the ten bases of International Care Ministries Feb. 17. Each Global Partner is supported through our church s general fund. 8 LOCAL Global Camelback Missions At Camelback, we believe the call of the great commission is to extend the love of Christ boldly out into the world. Our church family is one of many that God is using all around the world. We are dedicated to supporting ministries locally and globally that help establish the body of Christ as a global light in a dark world. We have designated two pastors to oversee our ministry partnerships. Locally, Pastor Julian works to strengthen relationships with ministries that are seeking to procalim the gospel through word and deed in our city. Globally, Pastor A.C. communicates with missionaries in foreign countries, seeking to support the growth of the local church worldwide.
