The atmosphere at a Camp meeting is always charged with anticipation and excitement for what the Lord will do. We know that the Spirit of the Lord will be present so that we will experience a time of refreshing, of challenge and renewal. As people come and commit this time to Him, and come expecting, I know that God will move in our midst in a mighty way teaching and guiding us how we as families should prepare for Jesus Coming. We plead for God s blessings on us as we meet, greet and fellowship with loved ones. Once again, welcome! Neville W. Carolus District Pastor Dear Church Family, As we prepare and gather for Camp Meeting 2018 may we be reminded that: Home Is the Heart of All Activity- Society is composed of families, and is what the heads of families make it. Out of the heart are the issues of life ; and the heart of the community, of the church, and of the nation is the household. The well-being of society, the success of the church, the prosperity of the nation, depend upon home influences. [AH151]. Christ is coming soon may we as families get ready and stay ready. 11 11 Northern Peninsula 2 District Camp Meeting 2018 SEMINARS SATURDAY, 2 1 JULY SATURDAY, 21 JULY 2:45-3:15 PM Dr Cecil Beukes Christian Education as Centres for Evangelism Dr Beukes is a representative of the Cape Conference of Seventh-day Adventists and he will be sharing with us the importance of Christian Education. He will talk about our church education policy and philosophy amongst other aspects. Beukes will also be available to answer questions on Christian Education and other Conference matters like the session, etc. 3:30-4:30 PM Pr Wayne Claasen The Parable of the Talents Pastor Claasen is serving as the district pastor for the West Coast area. Matthew 25:14-30: Jesus was coming again! Though the exact time was uncertain- He made them understand that the Event itself was certain. Hence we wait! 12 12 Northern Peninsula 2 District Camp Meeting 2018 MUSIC GUESTS SATURDAY, 21 JULY 5:00 PM Voices for Christ The mission of VOICES FOR CHRIST is to proclaim to all people, denominations, churches and organizations, the Everlasting Gospel of Jesus Christ through praise and ministry in spiritual song as instructed in Ephesians 5:19 "Speak to one another with psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. Sing and make music in your heart to the Lord" and Psalm 95:2 "Let us come before Him with thanksgiving and extol Him with music and song". There is one thing we do on earth that we will continue to do in Heaven and that is to praise and worship God. That is why we should view life on earth, for those who love Jesus, as choir practice for Heaven. One of the most important activities of the human heart is to praise and worship God. This is the reason we exist. Supporting this activity is the purpose of VOICES FOR CHRIST.

13 Northern Peninsula 2 District Camp Meeting FEATURED SPEAKER PASTOR SKHUMBUZO MDLULI. Skhumbuzo Mdluli is born in Swaziland. He did his theology at the University of Eastern Africa in Kenya. He loves the Ministry especially sharing the good news of salvation and that's one of the reasons he joined ministry. I'm new in the ministry, just over 8 months, pastoring in the Swaziland conference (Lubombo region), says Mdluli. Skhumbuzo started preaching at 19. His father being a pastor also influenced his decision in pursuing theology. Mdluli has ministered in a number of camp meetings and evangelism campaigns in Swaziland and Kenya. We pray that he will be a blessing to you as well.
