This event is truly a crowning moment of the Leadership you provide to the Association, to the many missionaries you lead and to the communities that rely on your direction.. Exploring and Exposing Vocations & Professions Sunday 5 th June 2011 Greetings of peace and goodwill in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. is a group composed of young Catholics with the common purpose of strengthening their bond while positively furthering their development and the community that they serve. With a growing membership, the group has affiliation to over twenty (20) parishes in Kenya with members drawn from the age of 25-45years i.e. in their prime-time. We are pleased to extend an invitation to you and your organisation to the 1 st Careers-A-Thon exposing and exploring vocations & professions from 0800h 1700h at St. John The Baptist Riruta Nairobi. Four (4) focus areas relevant to members will guide the main presentations and debates: a) Spiritual Development b) Professional Development and Work Life Balance c) Education and Education Opportunities d) Entrepreneurship and Business Development Join in exposing and exploring vocations & professions by: a) Set up a display and information booth onsite for your company products (table and seat provided) b) Speak at the event with a presentation on your Organisation; programs, products and careers c) Distribute your materials including brochures with the participants and other organisation items (in advance) d) Recruit from a talented pool of young adults and professionals on the day e) Support with advance publicity within your networks f) Invite your colleagues and families; young people between 25-45years and youth 18-24years to the event During the 1 st Careers-A-Thon, at least 200 members drawn from member Parishes (Churches) will participate. This is in addition to the parishioners (members) of the host parish Riruta who are well over 1,500members on any Sunday and the Community around with a population of over 10,000people (Kawangware,Dagoretti, Karen/Junction).
