12:2 CJB JUNE 2017 VOLUME 39 ISSUE 6 EXPERIENCING A FRESH BREEZE When the Lord starts working in a fresh way, it is hard to find adequate words to describe it.

Instead, keep letting yourselves be transformed by the renewing of your minds so that you will know what God wants and will agree that what He wants is good, satisfying and able to succeed. Rom. 12:2 CJB JUNE 2017 VOLUME 39 ISSUE 6 EXPERIENCING A FRESH BREEZE When the Lord starts working in a fresh way, it is hard to find adequate words to describe it. We can sense the Lord taking us by the hand and gently leading us to a new place in the church and school. With it there is a mystery of where He is taking us combined with deep knowledge that His way is good really, really good. There is definitely a fresh move among us: In the church there is a fresh working of the Holy Spirit in our young people, the worship team, the men s and the women s groups, Sunday school, small groups and outreach. In the school we are seeing refreshing results from continuing education studies and the short course we are giving the teachers. Pray with us that we will be sensitive to the Lord s leading and be quick to obey. UNDERSTANDING THE PURPOSES OF GOD We had an outstanding time with Marty Shoub, Canadian- Israeli, who ministered here during the last week. The Lord has given him insight into Biblical truths that leave the fragrance of the Lord and new understanding of God s plan. In addition to our church body and leaders, he ministered to our youth and school children with a challenging message. Marty also ministered in a sister church as well as to the national leaders of an international ministry here. The message the Lord has given him was well received and we trust he will be back again to share with us. GOD ANSWERING PRAYER We asked for prayer for the weather and the Lord heard and answered. The forecast for us was continued rain throughout this month, but for the last two weeks, although it still rains every night (but not heavy thunderstorms), the days are sunny and bright. This is a huge change after more than a month of heavy rain. Those trying to give the scientific reason for the change contrary to the forecast said that there was a strong wind that came through and changed everything! Praise God Marty with youth

We rejoice in the Lord s faithfulness. We are now faced with raising $15,000 to be able to put up the retaining walls against the weakened mountainside.

We rejoice in the Lord s faithfulness. We are now faced with raising $15,000 to be able to put up the retaining walls against the weakened mountainside. Please pray for this urgent and necessary project for the safety of our school and church and ask the Lord concerning the part He would have you to take. May the Lord richly bless you. Yours in His service, COMING CHALLENGES We still have the challenge of putting in the retaining walls as the mountainside has been weakened. But God is faithful and the damage we received was minimal in comparison with what it could have been and naturally speaking, probably should have been. The Lord answered our prayers and we thank you for having been a vital part in this. In the next days I will be traveling to Canada to be with my daughter Sarah and family. Her husband is out frequently at this time due to to his heavy work schedule during the summer, and I will help with the family!
