Phil. 1:20 REACHING OUT TO OTHERS Late in May we had an outreach to children, mainly from our neighborhood. This is a project in conjunction with the Billy Graham Association who sends presents for the children who attend. As a result of our outreach, several children and adolescents have shown a sincere interest in knowing more about the Lord and are starting to attend our meetings for their age group and some are already being discipled. A few of the parents have shown interest as well. Please pray that they will come to know the Lord in a real, LOOKING FORWARD This school year the Lord helped us to bring about changes that needed to be made in the school. One change was the position of chaplain rather than the director of discipline, and another to offer healthier snacks for the students in the kiosk. For the new school year in September there are more changes that we want to make in the curriculum or course content. Obviously the school needs to follow the government s academic requirements, but at the same time maintain the Biblical worldview, a combination that requires wisdom. The academic consultant has proven to be a great blessing in this area. For two of the required high school courses - ethics and philosophy - the government has not set yet parameters for content thus leaving the content of these subjects to each school. We will include apologetics in philosophy and the Lord has provided an excellent Christian teacher for this subject as, along with a strong Christian worldview, he has a degree in philosophy and a love for high school students - and has a campus ministry. Our chaplain, a seminary graduate, will be teaching ethics using Biblical values and principles as a basis. For literature we have been able to include some Christian books along with the classics. We are really looking forward to what the Lord is going to do in the lives of the students this school year. We need a two or three more teachers and ask prayer that we find the ones the Lord would have for us. Please pray for the school, students, teachers, administration and for the 22 scholarships we need the next school year. Neighborhood outreach

GOING FORWARD IN THE LORD Early this month we baptized five people, mainly young people, who have given their lives to the Lord and have been discipled. It was a special time as we celebrated with them the changes that the Lord has made in their lives. Ministring at home FROM THE HEART I am writing from Canada where I am visiting my daughter and her family this month, and fellowshipping with other Christian friends and ministries that I have made on previous trips. We sincerely appreciate your prayers and giving. Your sharing in the ministry has enabled us to reach many for the Lord. Financially we live month by month, but even in these difficult times we see the Lord s provision through you who stand with us. Thank you so very much. May the Lord richly bless you. bless you.
