2 DECEMBER st Saturday 24 days to Christmas Prayer: Lord God, I sense Your power, Your might and I stand in awe, painfully aware of how poor and weak I am before You. As I begin this Advent journey, teach me to turn to You in my fear and sorrow. I don t want to keep making my heart hard against You turning a deaf ear to Your invitation. Only You Lord, can help me soften, to be like the clay in Your gentle potter s hands. Amen. Bishop of DWM and Archbishop of the Province of South East Asia: *Pray for Wisdom from God as he directs the Diocese of West Malaysia. *Pray for good health and strength. *Pray that God will fill him with power, courage and grace. 2 nd Sunday 1 st Sunday of Advent Prayer: To God our Father, who has given us the grace to wait in graceful hope for the revelation of our Lord Jesus Christ, show us Your Mercy Lord. Sanctify us in mind and body, keep us without sin until the coming of Your Son. Make us walk these days in holiness, and live upright and devout lives in this world. Lord, help us to stand watchful and ready, until Your Son is revealed in all His glory. Amen. Rev. Dato Charles Samuel and Rt. Rev. Dr. Jason Selvaraj. *Pray for the anointing of the Holy Spirit to be upon them *Pray that they will earnestly seek God s will and be committed to instant and complete obedience ready for God to work powerfully in and through their ministries. Prayer Warriors: * Praise God for the Prayer Warriors in our Diocese. * Praise God for those who are willing to intercede on behalf of others and stand in the gap for those who need Jesus. *Pray that many, many more will raise up to uphold our Diocese and the Nation in prayer. 4 th Tuesday Archdeacons of the 6 Archdeaconry: *Ven. Dr. Stephen Soe of Upper North, Ven. John Kennady of Lower North, Ven. Eddie Ong of Upper Central, Ven. Charles Fraser of Lower Central, Ven. Edward M. John of Southern and Ven. Stephen Chan of Eastern. *Pray that the Archdeacons will remain bold in proclaiming spiritual truth * Pray that the lives of our Archdeacons will be marked by integrity and Godliness. Church: * Pray for visible unity in the Body of Christ. * Pray that Christians will live out authentic holy lives that manifest Jesus love and compassion. Being salt and light in this world. * Pray for Christian leaders to be godly, humble and loving towards one another

You have a people and You have a plan that will not fail. No matter what, Your purposes will prevail. You are in Your church and indwell Your people. In this we take great hope. Strengthen Your people, Lord! Strengthen Your church in Malaysia. Let us rise to the battle cry and faithfully stand firm! Stir up our passions and desires for purity, holiness and intimacy with You. Let us walk in the unquenchable fire of Your Spirit. Prayers for Revival & Spiritual Awakening: * Ask God to bring deep conviction of sin, spiritual brokenness, a holy fear of God and genuine repentance among His people. * Pray for deep cleansing, genuine repentance, and spiritual power to engulf our Clergy, Church Leaders & the Congregation. * Pray for Revival in the Diocese of West Malaysia. 7 th Friday Prayer: Look with favor, Lord God, on our petitions and in our trials, grant us Your compassionate help, that, consoled by the presence of Your Son, whose coming we now await, we may be tainted no longer by the corruption of former ways. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Christmas Services and Programme: * Pray for all the services and programme in all our churches. * Pray that in the midst of all the celebration Jesus Christ will not be missed. * Pray that the Gospel will be preached in every service and programme. 8 th Saturday 17 days to Christmas Prayer: O God, who sent Your Only Begotten Son into this world to free the human race from its ancient enslavement, bestow on those who devoutly await Him the grace of Your compassion from on high, that we may attain the prize of true freedom. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Bishops and Clergy: * Ask for God s hand to rest upon our church Leaders that they will operate in His wisdom. * Ask God to pour His Spirit of Discernment upon them. * Pray for their health and protection
4 9 th Sunday 2 nd Sunday of Advent Prayer: Lord Jesus Christ, judge of the living dead, we pray, Come, Lord Jesus! Jesus, you came to save sinners, protect us in times of temptation. You will come in glory to be our judge, show in us your power to save. Help us to keep the precepts of your law with the strength of the Spirit, and to look forward in love to your coming. Help us to live devoutly and temperately in this life, as we wait in joyful hope for the revelation of your glory. Amen. Diocese of West Malaysia * Pray for Wisdom from God as he leads our Diocese in formation of 3 Dioceses Diocese of the Northern Peninsula, Diocese of the Central & Eastern Peninsula and Diocese of the Southern Peninsula. * Pray that our Diocese, Clergy and Leaders become more surrendered and poured out to Christ, so they can have spiritual breakthroughs by seeking the fear of God and the mind of Christ and the Spirit s leading. 10 th - Monday The Officers of the Diocese: *The Chancellor Lay Canon Andrew Khoo. The Standing Committee of the Diocese, Bishop s Chaplain Rev Canon Emeritus Fred David. *Pray for a powerful anointing of the Holy Spirit upon them * Pray for Godly wisdom as they plan, direct and build our Diocese for the Glory of God. Clergy and Leaders in our Diocese: Lord, guide our leadership in faithfully shepherding the flock. Thank You, Lord, for the gift of Clergy and leaders. Strengthen our leaders faith and joy in the gospel and help them faithfully and unashamedly fulfil their ministry of shepherding the church and equipping the saints for ministry. Give them great wisdom and direction in every aspect of ministry, and may their example show the church and the world who you are. Bless the wives and families of our Clergy with great gospel joy in the ministry. Help us honor them as your shepherds who sacrifice much for our sake. Diocesan Prayer Gathering Klang valley: A time of Prayer for our Diocese & our Nation. Welcome all those who would like to pray. Time : 10am -1pm Venue: St. Mary s Cathedral. Come let us pray as God s people of this land. Amen 11 th - Tuesday Church & Congregation: * Pray that believers will have an increasing hunger and thirst for God s Word and truth, and that their faith, understanding and wisdom would increase. * Pray that believers everywhere will have access to effective discipleship, so they will be able to persevere in their faith through testing, trials and temptations. * Pray that people professing faith in Christ will be strengthened in their ability to discern between true and false teaching. Pray for the Leaders in Malaysia: Pray for the Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir bin Mohamad, Deputy Prime Minister Dato Sri Dr. Wan Azizah Wan Ismail, and all politicians * The fear of God, wisdom and truth to govern their thoughts * Make wise decisions based on justice and righteousness * Uphold Constitutional rights and the freedom to worship - 4 -
5 12 th - Wednesday Pray for the Provincial Gathering at Lake Toba, Indonesia: 18 th - 21 st Feb 2019 * For wisdom & discernment * For grace & favour * For understanding & harmony among Leaders Pray for our Clergy: * Pray that they would have the wisdom of Solomon to know what to say. * Pray for patience, peace and joy in their ministry. * Pray that they will be true men and women after God s own heart. Prayers for Revival & Spiritual Awakening: * Pray for God to bestow spiritual hunger in His people and draw them to fervent intercession. * Pray that God will pour out His Spirit like a mighty purifying flood. * Pray that all churches in the Diocese of West Malaysia will be anointed and blessed. 13 th- - Thursday Prayers For Malaysia II Corinthians 6:17 God, call Your people to come out and be separate. All across this land, call Your people to set aside worldly wisdom, pride and appearances, materialism, the need for approval, idolatry of all sorts. Lead us out and lead us up. Malaysia is a holy nation, a royal priesthood, set apart for worthy purposes. Stir in each and every heart to come out and be different! Gospel: * Pray for Workers: The harvest is plentiful But the workers are few. Pray for workers to be raised up to minister around the world. Pray for the Gospel to be preached. * Pray for Open Doors: Ask the Lord to open doors for the world mission endeavour to proclaim the mystery of Christ among even more people. Pray for the Gospel to be preached. * Pray for the Gospel to Spread and to be Honored: Our prayer should not only be for workers and open doors, but for the message to spread and find a place of honor in the hearts of people. Pray for the Gospel to be preached. 14 th Friday Prayer: Grant that your people, we pray, almighty God, may be ever watchful for the coming of your Only Begotten Son, that as the author of our salvation himself has taught us, we may hasten alert and with lighted lamps to meet Him when He comes. Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Prayers for 2019: * Heavenly Father, I confess and repent of all sins I committed throughout the year I confess and repent of all sins of omission or commission. And I pray that all through the year 2019, You will help me to live a life free from sin, in Jesus name. * O LORD, anoint my thoughts and my tongue so that every word that proceeds from my mouth, will be acceptable and pleasing unto Thee. May they be seasoned with grace to produce fruits of righteousness and blessings for thy Kingdom, in Jesus name. 15 th - Saturday - 10 days to Christmas Prayer: May the splendor of your glory dawn in our hearts, we pray, almighty God, that all shadows of the night may be scattered and we may be shown to be children of light by the advent of Your Only Begotten Son. Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Bishop of DWM and Archbishop of the Province of South East Asia: * Pray that he will look up to God Almighty * Pray for Wisdom from God as he leads our Diocese in formation of 3 Dioceses * Pray that God will pour His discernment upon Archbishop - 5 -
6 16 th - Sunday - 3 rd Sunday of Advent Prayer: O God, who see how your people faithfully await the feast of the Lord s Nativity, enable us, we pray, to attain the joys of so great a salvation, and to celebrate them always with solemn worship and glad rejoicing. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Christmas: *Pray God will continue to prepare your heart to receive the greatest Christmas gift of all, His Son, Jesus Christ. * Pray you will "Go and Tell" the good news of Jesus' Birth. *Pray for all the Christmas programmes and services in all the churches to proclaim that Jesus is Lord. 17 th - Monday The Bishop of the Diocese & Archbishop of the Province of SEA * Pray for Archbishop, The Most Rev. Datuk Ng Moon Hing. * Praise God for Archbishop s leadership and pray that he will make godly decisions. * Pray that he will lead with a shepherd s heart. Launching of Diocesan Theme 2019 * Diocesan Theme 2019 Bringing In The Sheaves * Pray for the Diocesan Theme Coordinator -Rev. Canon Dr. Jacob Bau and his team * Pray that God will bless our Diocese. 18 th - Tuesday Christmas: * Pray the world will see and know that Jesus Christ is Lord and the true reason for the season. * Pray peace would come to Malaysia and it would begin with us. * Thank God for sending His Beloved Son to us. Prayers for Malaysia II Chronicles 7:14 Lord, You promise that when your people pray, humble themselves, and seek You, You will hear and answer us. You even promise healing over our land, Malaysia. Lord, Malaysia needs your healing and I believe that it starts with me. I humble myself before You right here, right now. I seek Your face. I ask You to grant me a spirit of repentance so that I may be an instrument that ushers in Your blessing for my nation, Malaysia! 19 th - Wednesday Pray for our Clergy, Deaconesses, Lay Leaders, Lay Pastors & Evangelist: * Ask the Lord to make our clergy strong against every trick of the enemy, and that every satanic agent sent to them shall be disappointed. * Ask the Lord to give them divine revelation to work purposefully, to be like men of Issachar, who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do. * Ask the Lord to equip them with power gifts of the Holy Spirit. Christmas Services and Programmes: * Pray for all the Christmas programmes being planned by all the churches in the Diocese of West Malaysia. *Pray that in all the planning Jesus Christ will be glorified. *Pray for Peace, Love and Joy during this Christmas
7 20 th - Thursday Prayers For Malaysia Isaiah 6:1 Oh Lord, we need to see You as You truly are, not as what others say You are. Let Your people see You high and lifted up! Let us see You as holy. Let us understand Your nature, character and sovereignty. Let us know Your word. Sweep across Malaysia and reveal Yourself like never before. Let us know You, God! Pray for the Provincial Gathering at Lake Toba, Indonesia: 18 th - 21 st Feb 2019 * For wisdom & discernment * For grace & favour * For understanding & harmony among Leaders Holy and Righteous Church * Pray that the Malaysian church will stand out as a prophetic community, impacting society, and live out authentic and vibrant Christian lives that will be salt and light in the nation, for then only can the Church act and speak with credibility and moral authority, and be taken seriously by the nation s leaders. (Prayer United) 21 st Friday Prayer: May Your grace, almighty God, always go before us and follow after, so that we, who await with heartfelt desire the coming of Your Only Begotten Son, may receive Your help both now and in the life to come. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. Prayers for 2019: * Father, I pray, in 2019, empower me that no corrupt communication proceed out of my mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers, in Jesus name (Ephesians 4:29). * O LORD, I want to be more Kingdom minded in the coming year. Please show me areas You have endowed me to serve thee in Thy Kingdom and help me not to look unto man, but unto Thee as I render my service to Thee, in Jesus name. 22 nd Saturday 3 days to Christmas Prayer: O God, Creator and Redeemer of human nature, who willed that Your word should take flesh in an ever-virgin womb, look with favour on our prayers, that Your Only Begotten Son, having taken to himself our humanity, may be pleased to grant us a share in his divinity, Who lives and reigns with You in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen. The Diocesan Staff: * Kannagi K, Margaret Tan, Ensa, John, Keneth, Chun Peng, Soosan, Selvam, Kien Min and Gary (joined on 3 rd December 2018). * Pray that Jesus will meet all their needs and wants. Thank God for them. * Pray for good health and strength. Pray for unity and oneness as they work in the Diocesan office. Pray for good health and strength. 23 rd Sunday 4 th Sunday of Advent Prayer: Almighty God, you make us glad with the yearly remembrance of the birth of your Son Jesus Christ: grant that, as we joyfully receive him as our redeemer, we may with sure confidence behold him when he shall come to be our judge; who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. Christmas: * Pray you will keep the Christ Child the focus of Christmas. * Pray the baby born in Bethlehem would become a reality to each person who hears the telling or the retelling of the Christmas story. * Thank God for His Love for us
8 24 th Monday - Christmas Eve Christmas: * Pray you give as Christ gave sacrificially and without restraint and experience the true joy of giving. * Pray for the care, companionship, and comfort of those who are alone or experiencing their first Christmas without a loved one. Christmas Prayer: Almighty God, you have given us your only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him and as at this time to be born of a pure virgin: grant that we, who have been born again and made your children by adoption and grace, may daily be renewed by your Holy Spirit; through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. 25 th Tuesday Christmas Day Prayer: Come, thou long expected Jesus, Born to set your people free; From our fears and sins release us, Let us find our rest in thee. Amen. Prayer: Purify my conscience, Almighty God, by your daily visitation that your Son Jesus Christ, at his coming, may find in me a mansion prepared for himself, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for Your forgiveness. I believe You died for my sins and rose from the dead. I trust and follow You as my Lord and Saviour. Guide my life and help me to do Your will. In Your name, Amen. 26 th Wednesday Stephen, deacon, first martyr Prayers for 2019: * Father I pray 2019, will be a blessed year. From January to December, we shall be blessed in our going out and in our coming in, in Jesus name. * In 2019, our seeds shall bear fruit, and we shall have great harvest in the areas of peace, love, finance and health, in Jesus name. Pray for our Clergy, Deaconesses, Lay Leaders, Lay Pastors & Evangelist: * Ask the Lord to help our Clergy know Him more and more, grow stronger and stronger, and add more leaders to their numbers. * Ask the Lord to baptize our leaders with the Holy Spirit and Fire and become too hot for the Devil to handle or stop. * Ask the Lord to remember them for good, for all their labours. 27 th Thursday John, Apostle and Evangelist Prayers For Malaysia Psalms 33:12 Lord, Your blessing has been upon this nation, Malaysia and I thank You for your kind mercies! But Your word says that the blessed nation is the one whose God is the Lord and Malaysia has turned from You. God, on behalf of myself and my people, I confess our disregard of You. Bring Your people to repentance and let Malaysia once again be one who calls You Lord. Province of South East Asia: * Thank God for the missionaries who brought the good news * Thank God for all our clergy and deaconesses who work hard to spread the gospel and draw people to Christ * Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit upon all churches in the Province of South East Asia - 8 -
9 28 th Friday Holy Innocents Province of SEA Prayer & Fasting Pray for our Bishops: - Archbishop Datuk Ng Moon Hing Diocese of West Malaysia - Bishop Rennis Ponniah Diocese of Singapore - Bishop Danald Jute Diocese of Kuching - Bishop Datuk Melter Jiki Tais Diocese of Sabah Bishops and Clergy: * Ask for God s hand to rest upon our church Leaders that they will operate in His wisdom. * Ask God to pour His Spirit of Discernment upon them. * Pray for their health and protection. 29 th Saturday Prayers for 2019: * 2019 is declared a year of total restoration and all-round victory. I oppose every opposition to our total restoration and victory this year. I bind and cast out of my life, every force that has been a stumbling block in my life, in the name of Jesus Christ. * 2019 shall be a year of increase, abundant grace, divine favor, new beginnings, success stories, victory in all ramifications, prosperity and divine health. It shall be a year that all our needs shall all be met, in Jesus name. Confession: Eternal God, in whom we live and move and have our being, whose face is hidden from us by our sins, and whose mercy we forget in the blindness of our hearts: cleanse us from all our offenses, and deliver us from proud thoughts and vain desires, that with reverent and humble hearts we may draw near to you, confessing our faults, confiding in your grace, and finding in you our refuge and strength; through Jesus Christ your Son. Amen. 30 th Sunday 1 st Sunday of Christmas Prayer: Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to thee, so guide our minds, so fill our imaginations, so control our will, that we may wholly be thine, utterly dedicated unto thee; and then use us, we pray thee, as thou wilt, and always to thy glory and the welfare of thy people; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Amen. Pray for the Provincial Gathering at Lake Toba, Indonesia: 18 th - 21 st Feb 2019 * For wisdom & discernment * For grace & favour * For understanding & harmony among Leaders Prayers: * Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for the gift of life. Thank You for keeping us all through the year, Thank You for Your hand of Love and protection that saw us through the year. May all glory be unto thee in Jesus name. *LORD, I thank You also for the gift of prayer, the gift of Your Word, the gift of the Holy Spirit, the gift of Salvation, and the gift of the Church. You answered all our prayers in 2018 and kept us close to Thee. Even in our weaknesses, fears, faithlessness and sins, You kept us by Your Faithfulness. For this we say, thank You LORD, in Jesus name. * Thank You LORD for Your faithfulness, mercies, blessings, provisions, guidance, support, forgiveness, comforts, deliverances, protections, and grace upon us. O LORD, you started good works in our lives in the past years, and even this year. I am very confident that You will perfect all that concerns us in the coming year 2019, in the Mighty name of Jesus Christ
10 31 st Monday New Year s Eve Prayer of Self Dedication: -Almighty and eternal God, so draw our hearts to thee, so guide our minds, so fill our imaginations, so control our wills, that we may be wholly thine, utterly dedicated unto thee; and then use us, we pray thee, as thou wilt, and always to thy glory and the welfare of thy people; through our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Prayers: * As we come to the Lord at [near] the start of this New Year, let us seek his grace to number our days, that we may apply our hearts to wisdom as we confess our sins in penitence and faith. * Eternal Lord God, we give you thanks for bringing us through the changes of time to the beginning of another year. Forgive us the wrong we have done in the year that is past, and help us to spend the rest of our days to your honour and glory; through Jesus Christ our Lord.
