(Romans 14.12) SOAR LIKE AN EAGLE TEXT: ISAIAH 40: An Eagle is an amazing bird in a class of its own. As a remarkable distinction, it has the unique ability to glide and soar on the wings of the winds onto greater heights up to 10,000ft above sea level. The Eagle also has a powerful vision; its eyesight is estimated at 4-8 times stronger than that of an average human. Its long range vision can spot a rabbit 3.2km away, and sharp enough to locate a fish in the water in spite of the latter's blended skin color. Our ability to soar into greater heights in this year 2018, as has been prophetically declared, rests on closely walking with and trusting in God to see what He has in stock for us and enhance our capacity to achieve it. This is because what we can see determines what we can seize. Today's outline focuses on walking with God at a higher level for a clearer vision Note and the grace to soar to greater heights. 1. As far as your eyes can see, I will give to you' Gen. 13:15. What are the factors that limit people's ability to see? 2. Your future is highly dependent on your ability to see. As a Christians, our ability to see is highly influenced by the Word of God and our walk with God. Soaring to greater heights begins with going higher with God. This year God will deliver to you vision that will define and secure your future permanently. Below are some tips to enhance your capacity to see: a. Spent time in prayer, this give you elevation to see from where God sees. Habakkuk 2:1-2. b. Spend time with the Holy Spirit in fellowship. Job 22:21, John 14:16-17, 26 c. Spend time in meditation - Create new realities for yourself in your imagination. Act 2:16-17 Our environment, culture, systems and natural abilities tend to limit our vision of what God has prepared for us. However, seeing things through the eyes of God will change our perspective and give us foresight into what He has prepared for us. Abraham, by aligning with God, saw Christ coming through his lineage many centuries ahead (John 8:56). He was glad with what He saw and lived in the reality of that grace. In the same way, we have to develop this ability to clearly see what God has prepared for us through our reliance on the Holy Spirit. Definitely, we shall be glad, too. As you commit to going higher with God this year, you will see and enter into the fullness of all He has prepared for you. You will soar higher, effortlessly, in Jesus Name.

Write everything down in your dream book, break it down STEP BY STEP 4. How do you want to achieve it, JUST DO IT! By taking the following steps: Ÿ Having a specific grade or position for each subject at school. Ÿ Reading your Bible everyday Ÿ As God's children, always give your best in everything you do. We are empowered by the Holy Spirit with the capacity to live in glory and produce extraordinary results because we know and can do things beyond human ability. This is a super life where we display virtues and excellence of God by the empowerment of the Holy Spirit through our deep and intimate fellowship with Him. Today's outline helps us to understand how we can distinctly manifest unusual capacity like the eagle as we yield to God's spirit. 1. What is the level or quality of your relationship with God? Discuss 2. God wants us to have a deeper relationship with him so as to show us great and mighty things. This can only be achieved when we yield and maintain a close- intimate relationship with the Holy Spirit. Below are some steps that will help you to achieve this. a. Spend time in prayer Hab. 2,1 b. Spend time to meditate and dream about your future Acts2,17 To soar like an eagle is what every Christian should desire and it is achievable but you have to be committed to do your part with the help of the Holy Spirit. 4 15th - 19th Jan., 2018 B U S I N E S S H O M E F E L L O W S H I P Soaring Like An Eagle Strategic Vision TEXT: Isaiah 40:29-31 Welcome to a brand-new year! One that is new in every way since no day is like any you have gone through before. In this year, the height (strategic position) you operate from and the vision (sight) you operate with, will determine the level of success of your business or career. The manner in which you will accomplish your goals in the marketplace this year is likened to that of an eagle. The eagle is a bird that soars (not fly) to heights (about 10,000 feet above sea level) so far out that it has an aerial view and not a short sighted or lop-sided view of things. From its perspective, it's able to sight things that the regular bird flying at a lower level is unable to see. In addition, because of the power in its vision (ability to see 340 and 4 8 times clearer than 20/20 vision of humans), it can see clearly and position itself strategically to meet its need and achieve its goals. Just as the eagle leverages the power of the wind to attain great heights and vision to meet its needs, God expects us as Christians in the marketplace to leverage the Holy Spirit and other resources ((both spiritually and physically) to achieve our business and career goals. When we leverage the Holy Spirit, He is able to take us to mind blowing heights in our imagination which will then shape our vision and actions for the year and guide us in the effective utilization of the resources God has placed in and around us. Consequently, our focus for today's study will be on how to leverage the Holy Spirit to help set strategic goals, broaden our vision and open our eyes to the steps to take this year to achieve our desired business or career goals. 1) It's the beginning of the year and as individuals or organizations you are setting goals and outlining your strategic vision for your career and business. If the goals and vision will deliver the expected results, it must be sourced from more than just market trends and economic analysis. As a believer in the marketplace how do you intend to define and develop your career or business strategic vision for this year? Discuss. 2) Your destiny is tied to what you can see hence what you see is what you get in life. If you can't envision it, you can't have it. The level of your intimacy with God has a direct impact on what you see. Where are you with God at the moment? Below are some strategies that will help your sight and cause your business to soar higher effortlessly in a) Spend time in prayer with God. It elevates you to see from God's perspective. Hab. 2:1-2. b) Spend time in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Yield your imagination to Him and let him paint the picture for your career and business. Gen 13: c) Spend time in meditation. Meditate about what the Holy Spirit shows you until it becomes a reality in your mind and soul. Acts 2:16-17 d) Be conscious of your association. Stay aware from dream killers and nay-sayers. Associate with co-dreamer. Prov. 13:30; 27:17. e) Learn to promptly trust and obey God's instructions whether they make sense to you or not. Prov. 3:3-5; 1 Kgs 17:3 16. As we embark on soaring higher effortlessly in our businesses and careers, let's remember that it's waiting on God and developing an intimate relationship with Him that gives us capacity for strategic vision. The height from which we see will shape our perspective hence the need to go higher in God to achieve clearer vision. This year as we strategically position our businesses and careers for an effortless soaring with the help of the Holy Spirit, we will succeed in Jesus name. Amen.
