1 Living In Divine Health Exod. 15:26, 23:25, Prov. 4:20-23, Psalm 1:1-3 In the beginning, God created man from the dust of the ground, breathed life into him, and man became a living being. The life imparted into man gave his spirit, soul and body the capacity to live in strength and health. However, after the fall of Adam through sin, sicknesses and diseases became major challenges to man, ravaging his health and wellbeing in various ways. Man's quest for a final solution to this scourge has taken some large strides over time but the battle for total victory still seems far from being won. Man has not proven quite capable of living above sicknesses and diseases. Nevertheless, as Christians, God's intention for us is to live in health (3John2, 2Cor 5:17). Jesus said, I have come that you may have life and have it more abundantly (Jn 10:10). Our discussion today focuses on supernatural health and God's prescription for us to experience it in our lives. Discussion Is it possible for someone to live life on earth without having to suffer sicknesses, diseases or any form of ill-health? Discuss. The World Health Organisation (WHO), amongst other bodies of experts, have been striving to attain absolute health for humanity, but the limitations of man and science has made this dream appear elusive. The good news is that there is absolute health in Christ. The following are God's prescription for living in divine health: Accept Jesus as Lord and receive God's salvation. Be born again Rom 10:8-10 Study and Meditate on the word of God daily Josh1:8 Live by faith. Refuse to accept sickness as being normal Col 2:8-10 Regularly confess God's Word for your health. Heb 10:23, Prov. 18:21 Guard your faith: Know that what you devote more of your attention to daily, through your eyes, your ears and your thoughts determines the quality of your faith. Matt 13:15 God has made provision in Christ for us to live sickness-free. All the same, the breakthroughs in Medical Science are also part of God's blessing to all mankind and are aimed at providing healing. Therefore, receiving healing through orthodox medicine is not contrary to God's Word, neither does it negate our faith. However, the perfect will of God is that you develop your faith to living in divine health all the days of your life. And this you can, following God's prescription. You will succeed in Jesus' Name.

3 Ahealthy Life Is Your Right. Prov. 4:20-22, Deut 34:7, 3John 2 Most times, when faced with a recurring ailment such as malaria, we tend to think or feel we will always have down seasons in our bodies. But this feeling or thought is a lie of the devil. In the beginning, God's intention for man was and still is to live healthy throughout. Sickness and diseases came as a result of sin when man disobeyed God, but Jesus came and redeemed us by His blood from all the works of the devil, which includes sickness and diseases (1Jhn 3:8, Acts 10:38). Today we will be discovering God's plan for us to remain in health always. Do you think it is possible to enjoy a life of freedom from sickness and diseases? Read Gen 2:7 and John 8:32 If you are born again, you have entered life the life of God which cannot be sick. Below are ways to maintain your health status in Christ; Focus and feed on God's word Jhn 6:63 Declare who and what God says you are Mark 11:23 God's word is more real than anything you are seeing (Rom 4:17-20) Conclusion: Believe what God's word says about your health and it shall be to you according to your faith. You will succeed in Jesus' name.

4 14th - 18th Oct., 2013 Building a Healthy Business 3 John 2, Gen. 26: 1-6, 12-14, Prov. 4: God's design is that we should walk in sound health, just as He has destined that we should own, manage and operate healthy businesses. The nature of an organism is conditioned by the quality of life that flows through it. The good news is that those of us who have been redeemed by the blood of Christ do have the life of God (Zoe) flowing in us and can enjoy God's strength and wisdom to live a healthy life. In like manner, one of the fundamental characteristics of a healthy business is operating with the consciousness of God's presence. This is because God's presence gives direction, commands fruitfulness/productivity, brings wisdom to confront challenges, attracts favour, etc. Indeed, our best efforts are in vain without God's assistance (Psa. 127:1). In this outline, we shall explore how to build a healthy business by giving attention to making our businesses and work places conducive for God to operate. In your view, is it practical to follow all of God's commandments for operating a business (such as, don't cut corners, don't cheat, don't give bribe, treat others fairly, etc.) in a challenging business climate such as ours, considering that some are flouting these rules and appear to be making a head way? (Please discuss) The fact that God is present in your business and that you are heeding his commandments does not preclude you from challenges. However, His presence is a guarantee that you will overcome every trial, challenge on your path to victory. Below are tips to aid your efforts to maintain a healthy business: Walk in the fear of God and give priority to know and obey His instructions (Psa. 112: 1 4, Psa. 1: 1 3) Be diligent in the pursuit of your business (Prov. 22: 29, Prov. 10: 4) Be courageous, God is on your side (Josh. 1:9, 2 Tim. 1: 7) Avoid sharp practices. Be a person of integrity (Psa. 15: 1 5) Associate with and learn from the wise (e.g. mentors, role models, etc.) (Prov. 13: 20, Mat. 7: 6) Treat others the way you want to be treated with love and respect (Phil. 2: 2 3) The foundation for a healthy business is giving first place to God in all you seek to do. Therefore, stop trying to run the race on your own energy. Let God help you. Take time to seek His counsel on how to operate your business and act on His instructions (Isa. 48:17, Psa. 32:8). This is the key to unending success in life and business. You will succeed in Jesus Name, Amen.
