1 Suggestions for the use of this Notebook: Kids usually mark a fresh page and then go onto the next and the next without even finishing the first page they were just on. Then they complain that all the pages are finished, when, in reality, they are not. Only a little bit of coloring has been done on one page after another. The child needs to finish one page completely before he moves onto the next coloring page. The end result of following this advice will be a lovely, memorable Convention Keepsake for this year s Regional Convention. Encourage your children to do a good job by taking their time. It will make you proud of them PLUS they will have a sense of accomplishment in producing a beautiful keepsake from our 2016 Regional Convention. The Pages can be an asset for you, too, to work with your child, keeping their attention on, not only the actual talks given from the platform, but fun ways to help kids relate to the information. References featuring Jehovah s provisions of food, clothing, and friendships are found in some of the pages. There are Mazes: Simple ones, generally. At lunch, see if you brought any of the foods to the Convention that appears on the page. There are more difficult pages that you have to know how to read to do, but, if your young one doesn t know how to read, perhaps their brother or sister could help them figure out the answer. (But don t whisper during the brothers talks.) In between sessions is a good time to play these games, and a good time to work together as a team. Remember: Share, Share, Share. There is a lot to do, so, share with someone who doesn t have a notebook like this one. Work on a page. Try to quiz each other - giving hints about a certain page: The Word searches may be hard. Have a friend, a brother, or s sister, even Mom or Dad help the young one learn how to look for the words and then circle the entire word with a pencil. I know they can do it, even if they need a little help! Now, have fun and enjoy this year s convention. Make friends, learn a lot, sing loud, listen carefully, and, most of all, honor Jehovah. Your friend and sister, Linda
