2 From Fr. Liguori, Our Missionary Cooperative for 2017 Every year we are paired up with a missionary cooperative. Our mission to support this year is The Diocese of Ondo, Nigeria. Father Peter Akin Otiko, the judicial vicar for the Diocese of St. Augustine and the pastor of Resurrection Parish, is on loan from the Diocese of Ondo. He will celebrate the Sunday Masses next weekend, January 28/29, and a 2 nd collection will be taken to support our mission for (I will be away attending a conference in Naples, FL) No morning Mass Friday, January 27 The Blessed Sacrament is Exposed on Tuesday evening in the church from 6:00 pm 7:00 pm for your quiet prayer. Come and make a visit! OPEN REGISTRATION FOR SCHOOL YEAR Open registration for the new school year, , begins in February, after returning students and their siblings have registered, followed by any parishioners with school children, and then Catholics. There will be an open house at the school on Sunday, January 28 from 10:00am 12 noon FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE Step Up for Students. The scholarships are based on a number of factors so all families should apply AAA Foundation serving eligible low income children through the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship Program. St. Patrick Catholic School is without a doubt a Catholic School that has reclaimed strength as a vibrant Catholic institution where children are nurtured spiritually, academically, and socially on a daily basis. Preparation for the sacrament includes pre-registration for for Engaged Encounter or Pre Cana, completing the PREPARE/ENRICH or FOCUS inventory, and taking a full course of Natural Family Planning (for couples of child-bearing age). 4

5 2017 Diocese of St. Augustine Annual Catholic Charismatic Conference January 27 thru 29 th The conference will be held in the Sacred Heart Parish Center. The theme for this year s conference is Receive the Holy Spirit (Jn. 20:22). Keynote speaker is Jim Murphy. Other speakers include: Tom Edwards lay Catholic evangelist and missioner from St. Augustine, Fl, Greg Trainor lay Catholic evangelist from Jupiter, FL, and Fr. Peter-Akin Otiko, pastor of Resurrection Parish, who will celebrate the mass with healing prayer. Music and Praise will be led by Philip Militante, gifted singer and worship leader. Most. Rev. Felipe J. Estèvez, Bishop of St. Augustine will celebrate the concluding mass on Sunday.
