Proclaiming Victory Intercessory Prayer Ministry Law Enforcement Prayer Journal #1 On your walls, Jerusalem, I have placed sentries; They must never be silent day or night. They must remind the Lord of his promises and never let him forget them. (Isaiah 62:6 GNB) I want to thank all of you in advance for your cooperation in fulfilling God s Destiny in each of our lives as we work together to fulfill His Plan for protection, peace, love, deliverance, healing, and the list goes on! God Bless all of you who help me in this endeavor. Now what is Proclaiming Victory Intercessory Prayer Ministry Law Enforcement all about, you may ask? It is about interceding (standing in the gap) for all Law Enforcement Officers including Correction Officers in each of our local areas to lift them up in prayer and petition to the Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. We will have targets (areas to pray about), and bullets (scriptures, confessions and prayers) to speak and pray over them. We can use each journal over and over again, so the officers have continual prayer coverage and, I will be writing more in this series as time permits. We will begin each journal with a teaching on Intercessory Prayer and the Bible. There is so much that we don t know about intercession that we can all learn together as we follow God s leading in this much needed prayer ministry. Please use this journal as a guide for prayer, but also allow the Holy Spirit to lead you as well. Each journal will have a format to follow. 1) Praising the Lord along with the included praises from God s Word (the Holy Bible). 2) Reading the target areas. 3) Reading, speaking, and praying the included bullets (scriptures, confessions, and prayers) over the target areas in each of your state and local areas. 2

4) Find out the results of your praying by watching the news, reading newspapers, asking the Law Enforcement Officers in your area. You may even want to contact them and let them know what you are doing, and get their names to pray for them individually as well. There are sheets included for that information in this booklet. Praying the Word of God #1 Intercessory Prayer Teaching Let us first find out what intercession means. It means praying for people, but there is a whole lot more about interceding for people that we need to learn about. Ezekiel 22:30 from the New Living Translation, gives us an idea of what true intercession is. This is a message from the Lord, and He says, I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn t have to destroy the land, but I found no one. Intercede means intervene, mediate, plead, ask on somebody s behalf, negotiate, arbitrate, and act as mediator. We need to intervene, plead, negotiate, ask the Father in Jesus name for our Law Enforcement Officers for their protection, peace, provision, or whatever else the Lord asks us to pray for them, and act as their mediator for them. The Lord put it to me this way: we, as intercessors, will be representing Law Enforcement to the Lord just like a lawyer represents their clients in a trial or legal situation. We are their representatives. We stand in the gap touching the Lord on one side and touching Law Enforcement on the other side, and allowing God s power and love to flow from Him, through us, and to them. (Matthew 18:19-20 KJV) Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. (20) For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. So, the question now is How should we pray or intercede for them? And the best answer is to pray the perfect prayer or prayers for them. The only One that is perfect is God the Father, God the Son (Jesus) and God the Holy Spirit. So, how can we pray the perfect prayer? By praying God s Word which leads us to our teaching for this journal (#1), Praying the Word of God. We have a few things to establish and then we will begin. 3

First and foremost, Jesus Christ is the Word of God, and the Word of God is Truth. John 1:1, from the Amplified Bible says, In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself. John 1:14 says that the Word (Christ) became flesh and lived among us. And, Revelation 19:11-13 describes Jesus, the Christ, the Son of God He is dressed in a robe dyed by dipping in blood, and the title by which He is called is The Word of God. And God s Word (the written Word of God, the Holy Bible) also says in 1 Corinthians 1:24, that Christ is the Power of God and the Wisdom of God. John 17:17 and Ephesians 1:13 both show that the Word of God is the Word of Truth. And Truth always supersedes (takes over from, subplants, takes the place of, replaces, displaces) what is happening now, and also lies or what is false what our enemy, satan, would want us to believe or fear. So, Intercessors, we need to find out what God s Word of Power, Wisdom, and Truth says and speak those Words in our prayer for our Law Enforcement Officers, so our words of agreement with God s Word changes or supersedes what they are experiencing right now. With our prayer of intercession we can: change how they react to certain things, negative or positive, change the enemies hold on them by stopping the enemy working in their lives, bring protection to them, help them solve cases and problems more efficiently, stop the nightmares of all the negative things that they experience or see, bring them peace, and the list goes on. We can effect change in the lives of people through speaking the Word of God over them in our prayer for them and open up our prayer lives to effect change with dynamic power and wisdom. Remember Who is the Power of God and the Wisdom of God Christ (1 Corinthians 1:24, AMP). Find the Word for the problem (target) + Speak the Word over them (bullets) = Effecting Powerful Change in their lives I think 2 Corinthians 6:7 says it well. By [speaking] the word of truth, in the power of God, with the weapons of righteousness for the right hand [to attack] and for the left hand [to defend]; (AMP) Here, as intercessors, we are attacking the enemy s hold on those we are praying for, and we are defending them from the enemies of fear, death, poverty, turmoil, abuse, etc. by praying and speaking life, the love of God over them, protection, prosperity in every area of their lives, salvation, peace, wisdom, the leading of the Holy Spirit, etc. How do we know that we are in the Power of God? First, we have established that speaking God s Word for the situation is the perfect prayer. We need to 4

know it is God s will to pray the prayers. So let s read 1 John 5:14-15, which says, And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us. And if (since) we [positively] know that He listens to us in whatever we ask, we also know [with settled and absolute knowledge] that we have [granted us as our present possessions] the requests made of Him. (AMP) Matthew 18:19 says, Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. (KJVA) We could be miles apart in actual distance, but as we intercede for others in the name of Jesus, we are gathered together. And, as we speak God s Word together, we can effect the change that is needed. We have the power of agreement in God s Word working for us, and for them. And, it is dynamic power also. as we can see in James 5:16, Confess to one another therefore your faults (your slips, your false steps, your offenses, your sins) and pray [also] for one another, that you may be healed and restored [to a spiritual tone of mind and heart]. The earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available [dynamic in its working]. (AMP) We want all of our prayers and intercession to be powerful and to effect the change that we desire when we pray. We want it to be full of power and wisdom. So, let s begin bringing change to what we are interceding for by praying God s Word over them. And, let s start our prayer time with praises to God, signaling to Him that we believe or have faith in His Word that we are speaking and praising and thanking Him to bring the results that we are praying for. Praise & Thanksgiving to God in faith + Find the Word for the problem (target) + Speak the Word over them (bullets) = Effecting Powerful Change in their lives 5

Law Enforcement Prayer Journal #1 1) Praising the Lord with included praises from God s Word (the Holy Bible) Note: While you read these praises out loud, let them flow from your heart in true worship and praise. And flow with the Holy Spirit in your heavenly language as well. If you find other praises from God s Word, then you can praise them as well. But, remember to keep your focus on the Lord Jesus, and don t allow outside things to distract you from your praise to Him. Let this be a special time that you can spend in God s presence as you worship Him. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. (Psalms 100:4, KJVA) I will give some by scripture and some with a confession that flows with it. PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING TO GOD IT IS WRITTEN (Psalms 25:14 AMP) The secret [of the sweet, satisfying companionship] of the Lord have they who fear (revere and worship) Him, and He will show them His covenant and reveal to them its [deep, inner] meaning. (Psalms 27:4-6 AMP) One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek, inquire for, and [insistently] require: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord [in His presence] all the days of my life, to behold and gaze upon the beauty [the sweet attractiveness and the delightful loveliness] of the Lord and to meditate, consider, and inquire in His temple. (5) For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock. (6) And now shall my head be lifted up above my enemies round about me; in His tent I will offer sacrifices and shouting of joy; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. I praise You, Lord, and I love Your name. Your name is above all names, and You are so precious to me. I love to just close my eyes, and center my focus on You, Lord, and just love on You, as You Love on me. I sense Your presence here with me, Lord Jesus, as You are always with me in my spirit. I can feel Your sweetness and peace as I worship and praise You today. You are so beautiful to me, and I love You so much. I so enjoy Your sweet, sweet presence, sweet Jesus. Thank You for loving on me, and being with me always. I just want to soak in Your presence. And, I ask that You bring Your peace and Love to those who we are praying for today. 7

(Psalms 40:3 KJVA) And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD. Lord, I sing to You a new song of praise from my heart. I love Your Word, Lord Jesus, and I praise You and trust in Your name. You alone are God, and there is none other. I praise You for Your faithfulness to Your Word as You watch over it and bring it to pass in our lives and in the lives that we pray for today. Thank you, Lord, for Your great mercy and grace. (Psalms 40:5 GNB) You have done many things for us, O LORD our God; there is no one like you! You have made many wonderful plans for us. I could never speak of them all--- their number is so great! I praise You, Lord, for all the wonderful plans that You have for each and every one of us. I praise You, for Your gifts, callings, and talents that You have placed in each of us and also for those that we pray for today. You are so wonderful and faithful and true! (Psalms 40:16 AMP) Let all those that seek and require You rejoice and be glad in You; let such as love Your salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified! Lord Jesus, I praise You and Your name. I magnify You above all others. Thank You, Lord for Your salvation given to all freely as we all accept You. I rejoice in You, Lord, and I praise Your holy name. (Psalms 5:7 GNB) But because of your great love I can come into your house; I can worship in your holy Temple and bow down to you in reverence. I love You, Lord, and I praise You for Your great love that You have given to me to love others through You, and be loved by You! (Psalms 5:11-12 AMP) But let all those who take refuge and put their trust in You rejoice; let them ever sing and shout for joy, because You make a covering over them and defend them; let those also who love Your name be joyful in You and be in high spirits. For You, Lord, will bless the [uncompromisingly] righteous [him who is upright and in right standing with You]; as with a shield You will surround him with goodwill (pleasure and favor). 8

Lord, I love You so much, and I praise Your name. Thank You for all that You have given to me, and those whom I pray for today. I sing, rejoice, and shout for joy for loving me and defending me, and for loving and defending all those who love you too! Thank You, Lord for blessing us, and Thank You for surrounding us with goodwill, pleasure and favor from both You, and men. You are so AWESOME! And, I love You, Lord! I praise Your name, because You are worthy to be praised. (Psalms 34:1 KJVA) I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth. (Psalms 34:3 GNB) Proclaim with me the LORD's greatness; let us praise his name together! Lord Jesus, You are Greater in me than anything else in this world, and I can depend on You, Lord, to see me through every problem and every trial, or trouble. You alone are great, and there is no other who can save me from my enemies. I magnify Your name, Lord Jesus, and I will continually praise You as long as I am alive. You are so great and wonderful! (Psalms 34:4 AMP) I sought (inquired of) the Lord and required Him [of necessity and on the authority of His Word], and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Lord, I Thank You for the authority that You gave me in Your precious promises. And, I Thank You for delivering me and those that I pray for today. (Psalms 73:25 CEV) In heaven I have only you, and on this earth you are all I want. (Psalms 69:30 KJVA) I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify him with thanksgiving. Lord, I Thank You for all that You have done for me, and I magnify You with thanksgiving from my heart. I Bless You, Lord Jesus, and I praise Your wonderful name JESUS! I hunger for more of You, Lord, I hunger for Your Word. Thank You for filling me with Your presence and Your glory all that You are! I Bless Your name. 9

(John 17:1 WNT) When Jesus had thus spoken, He raised his eyes towards Heaven and said, "Father, the hour has come. Glorify Thy Son that the Son may glorify Thee; Father, I Bless You, and glorify You, and I bless and glorify Jesus, Your Son! You are my High Tower. You are my Refuge, my Stay and Support. You are my Healer, Provider, and Deliverer, and I glorify Your name! (John 17:4-5 AMP) I have glorified You down here on the earth by completing the work that You gave Me to do. (5) And now, Father, glorify Me along with Yourself and restore Me to such majesty and honor in Your presence as I had with You before the world existed. Lord, I glorify You, by walking in the gifts, callings, and talents that You have given to me. And, I glorify You by doing all that You have given to me to do. I praise You, Lord, and ask You to bring me into Your very presence as I praise Your name. You are Blessed, and I lift You up and praise You. I magnify You, and declare Your greatness. (Exodus 15:2 AMP) The Lord is my Strength and my Song, and He has become my Salvation; this is my God, and I will praise Him, my father's God, and I will exalt Him. (Judges 5:3 AMP) Hear, O kings; give ear, O princes; I will sing to the Lord. I will sing praise to the Lord, the God of Israel. (1 Chronicles 16:8-15 AMP) O give thanks to the Lord, call on His name; make known His doings among the peoples! (9) Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; meditate on and talk of all His wondrous works and devoutly praise them! (10) Glory in His holy name; let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the Lord! (11) Seek the Lord and His strength; yearn for and seek His face and to be in His presence continually! (12) [Earnestly] remember the marvelous deeds which He has done, His miracles, and the judgments He uttered [as in Egypt], (13) O you offspring of [Abraham and] of Israel His servants, you children of Jacob, His chosen ones! (14) He is the Lord our God; His judgments are in all the earth. (15) Be mindful of His covenant forever, the promise which He commanded and established to a thousand generations, 10

I give thanks to You Lord. I call on Your name and praise You. You are so wonderful, and I Thank You for all the wonderful things that You have done. I long for You Lord, and I want to spend time with You, praising and Thanking You for all that you have done in me and through me. I seek for You, Lord, and I want to be in Your presence continually. You are my God, You are my Lord, and I choose to follow You all the days of my life. I bless Your name. (Psalms 7:17 AMP) I will give to the Lord the thanks due to His rightness and justice, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. (Psalms 9:1-4 AMP) I WILL praise You, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will show forth (recount and tell aloud) all Your marvelous works and wonderful deeds! (2) I will rejoice in You and be in high spirits; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High! (3) When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before You. (4) For You have maintained my right and my cause; You sat on the throne judging righteously. (Psalms 9:9-11 AMP) The Lord also will be a refuge and a high tower for the oppressed, a refuge and a stronghold in times of trouble (high cost, destitution, and desperation). (10) And they who know Your name [who have experience and acquaintance with Your mercy] will lean on and confidently put their trust in You, for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek (inquire of and for) You [on the authority of God's Word and the right of their necessity]. (11) Sing praises to the Lord, Who dwells in Zion! Declare among the peoples His doings! Thank You, Lord, for being my high tower and my refuge in times of trouble. I choose to turn to You alone when I m in need, because of Your grace and mercy that You give to me. You are so awesome, and no other is worthy of praise. I love to stand strong and stand tall in You. My precious Lord! I love You, Lord, I love You! (Psalms 42:1-2 GNB) As a deer longs for a stream of cool water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for you, the living God. When can I go and worship in your presence? As a deer longs for fresh cool water, so I long for the fresh beauty of Your presence Lord. I thirst for You, and I long to worship all the day long in your presence and glory. I delight in Your presence, Lord, seeking for You and talking to You, and spending quality time in Your Word. Thank You, Lord, for loving me, and giving of Yourself to me. 11

(Psalms 28:7 GNB) The LORD protects and defends me; I trust in him. He gives me help and makes me glad; I praise him with joyful songs. I Thank You, Lord, for protecting and defending me and those whom I pray for today. I Thank You for Your help, Lord, and I praise You and worship You. (Psalms 28:8 AMP) The Lord is their [unyielding] Strength, and He is the Stronghold of salvation to [me] His anointed. Lord Jesus, You are my unyielding Strength and Stronghold. Thank You for anointing me to do Your Will for my life. Sing a New Song to the Lord I sing a new song to You, Lord. I sing a new song to You, Lord! I worship in Your Presence! I worship in Your Presence! I glorify You Lord, for you are worthy, You are worthy to be praised. I sing a new song, Lord, I sing a new song, Lord, to worship You, in glory, and to worship You in majesty! You are worthy to be praised. You are worthy to be praised, and I love You, Lord, my redeemer and my savior. You are worthy Lord, You are worthy Lord. I praise Your holy name, and I worship only You. I praise You, Lord. I praise You, for You are worthy, You are worthy. I worship You, and bless You Lord, I worship only You! **Sing a new song to the Lord as you worship and praise Him today! Let it come up from your heart (your inner most being), because He is worthy of our true praise! 2) Targets Read the targets (areas or situations that need to be prayed about) OUT LOUD so they are fresh in your mind as you pray about them. 12

TARGETS Law Enforcement Officers: - Pray for protection during domestic violence situations. - Pray for protection while giving tickets or making traffic stops. - Pray for protection while transporting criminals, prisoners, or suspects. - Pray for protection from criminal activity while working, or investigating. 3) Bullets Speaking scriptures, confessions, and prayers over the target areas and situations. BULLETS: As you read these scriptures, let the Word of the Lord flow through you. Claim these scripture promises for your Law Enforcement Officers for their protection from danger and evil and violent men and women. And, if the Lord leads you in a prayer for them, allow Him to speak through you to them for their protection, guidance, and deliverance. Ask the Lord to give them wisdom to know how to handle each situation that they encounter every day. - For protection during domestic violence situations: - For protection while giving tickets or making traffic stops: - For protection while transporting criminals, prisoners, or suspects: - For protection from criminal activity while working, or investigating: IT IS WRITTEN (Acts 18:9-10 WNT) And, in a vision by night, the Lord said to Paul, "Dismiss your fears: go on speaking, and do not give up. (10) I am with you, and no one shall attack you to injure you; for I have very many people in this city. (Romans 2:11 BBE) For one man is not different from another before God. (What God will do for the Apostle Paul, He will do for those that we pray for today, but we need to claim it for our Law Enforcement Officers in order for them to receive the protection!) 13

Lord, I thank You, that You are not partial over one man or woman than another. So, when You took care of the Apostle Paul, I m asking You to take care of our Law Enforcement Officers to protect them from dangerous situations that they face every day. Thank you, Lord, for protecting and delivering them in domestic violence situations, and for giving them the wisdom and knowledge and step by step insight that they will need to operate in each of these situations, because no two situations are alike, and to know how to take care of things through and by Your guidance. I also ask for protection for the family members involved in the domestic violence situations and that you give them wisdom to be safe, and wisdom and guidance to work with Law Enforcement instead of against them. (Psalms 91:1 AMP) HE WHO dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall remain stable and fixed under the shadow of the Almighty [Whose power no foe can withstand]. (Psalms 91:2 KJVA) I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. (Psalms 91:3 GNB) He will keep you safe from all hidden dangers and from all deadly diseases. (Psalms 91:4 GNB) He will cover you with his wings; you will be safe in his care; his faithfulness will protect and defend you. (Psalms 91:5 AMP) You shall not be afraid of the terror of the night, nor of the arrow (the evil plots and slanders of the wicked) that flies by day, (Psalms 91:6 AMP) Nor of the pestilence that stalks in darkness, nor of the destruction and sudden death that surprise and lay waste at noonday. (Psalms 91:7 GNB) A thousand may fall dead beside you, ten thousand all around you, but you will not be harmed. (Psalms 91:8 AMP) Only a spectator shall you be [yourself inaccessible in the secret place of the Most High] as you witness the reward of the wicked. (Psalms 91:9 KJVA) Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; (Psalms 91:10 KJVA) There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. (Psalms 91:11 GNB) God will put his angels in charge of you to protect you wherever you go. (Psalms 91:12 KJVA) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. (Psalms 91:13 KJVA) Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. (Psalms 91:14 AMP) Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name [has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love, and kindness--trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no, never]. 14

(Psalms 91:15 KJVA) He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. (Psalms 91:16 KJVA) With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation. Lord, we stand in the gap for our Law Enforcement Officers according to Ezekiel 22:29-30 and we love You and we are asking you to deliver them from all harm and from all evil and violent men and women. We thank You, Lord, for shielding them and covering them with Your wings. We thank You for protecting them and placing them in the secret place of the Most High, inaccessible from the evil and violent people and dangerous situations that could occur while transporting criminals, and giving tickets or assisting during accidents while out on the roads and highways. And we declare that You are their refuge and fortress, and we declare that they will trust You for their deliverance, and You will keep them safe from all hidden dangers and deadly diseases that they may encounter while doing their jobs. Thank You, Lord, for protecting them from danger of all kinds. (Ezekiel 22:29 NLT) Even common people oppress the poor, rob the needy, and deprive foreigners of justice. (Ezekiel 22:30 NLT) "I looked for someone who might rebuild the wall of righteousness that guards the land. I searched for someone to stand in the gap in the wall so I wouldn't have to destroy the land, but I found no one. (Proverbs 18:10 AMP) The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the [consistently] righteous man [upright and in right standing with God] runs into it and is safe, high [above evil] and strong. Father, I choose to lift up our Law Enforcement Officers to You, and I speak the name of Jesus because He is a strong tower for them. And, because I stand in the gap for them in prayer and intercede for them, they are safe, high above the evil that would try to overcome them, and they are strong in Your strength. Thank You, Father for operating in their lives, and thank You for hearing me on this, because I m speaking Your Word back to You. (Proverbs 18:21 GNB) What you say can preserve life or destroy it; so you must accept the consequences of your words. (Proverbs 18:21 AMP) Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. 15

SPEAK LIFE TO ALL OF YOUR LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICERS and DO NOT SPEAK DEATH OVER THEM. We NEED ALL of our officers alive and well to do what God has called them to do. (This is their ministry or calling.) Father God, thank You for Your Word of Truth! I thank You for all of our Law Enforcement Officers. I speak Your Abundant Life over them that Jesus spoke about in John 10:10 (Psalms 18:1 Darby) To the chief Musician. A Psalm of David, the servant of Jehovah, who spoke to Jehovah the words of this song in the day that Jehovah had delivered him out of the hand of all his enemies and out of the hand of Saul. And he said, I will love thee, O Jehovah, my strength. (Psalms 18:2 Darby) Jehovah is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I will trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. (Psalms 18:3 Darby) I will call upon Jehovah, who is to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies. (Psalms 18:4 AMP) The cords or bands of death surrounded me, and the streams of ungodliness and the torrents of ruin terrified me. (Psalms 18:5 GNB) The danger of death was around me, and the grave set its trap for me. (Psalms 18:6 AMP) In my distress [when seemingly closed in] I called upon the Lord and cried to my God; He heard my voice out of His temple (heavenly dwelling place), and my cry came before Him, into His [very] ears. (We are covering our Law Enforcement officers with the hedge of protection and the shed blood of Jesus as we stand in the gap for them with these scriptures. It is like we are actually there while they are in dangerous situations grabbing a hold of them and pulling them out, but it is in the spiritual realm that we are accessing them in intercession instead of physically being there which would be impossible to do with so many officers and so many unexpected situations. This is why it is important to intercede for them as we stand in the gap for their protection from every kind of danger that is out there that the enemy would throw at them.) (Psalms 18:17 Darby) He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them that hated me; for they were mightier than I. (Psalms 18:18 Darby) They encountered me in the day of my calamity, but Jehovah was my stay. (Psalms 18:19 Darby) And he brought me forth into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me. 16

Father, we plead the shed blood of Jesus over ALL of our Law Enforcement officers and we build a hedge of protection over them to protect them from every danger that the enemy would try to use to overcome them. We speak Your Word over them and spiritually through intercession grab a hold of them with the weapons of our warfare to pull down those strongholds that the enemy puts up around them to defeat our officers. I thank You, Father, for all of the weapons that You have given us to access when we need them to lift up our Law Enforcement officers out of the dangers from their strong enemy that is coming against them. (John 10:10 AMP) The thief comes only in order to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have and enjoy life, and have it in abundance (to the full, till it overflows). (Matthew 12:37 GNB) Your words will be used to judge you---to declare you either innocent or guilty. Lord, we choose to use our words to speak Your BLESSING (empowerment) over our Law Enforcement Officers for their protection and deliverance. Thank You for giving us insight into what we need to speak over them according to Your Word of Truth. (Psalms 35:1 NLT) O LORD, oppose those who oppose me. Fight those who fight against me. (Psalms 35:2 NLT) Put on Your armor, and take up Your shield. Prepare for battle, and come to my aid. (Psalms 35:3 NLT) Lift up Your spear and javelin against those who pursue me. Let me hear You say, "I will give you victory!" (Psalms 35:4 NLT) Bring shame and disgrace on those trying to kill me; turn them back and humiliate those who want to harm me. (Psalms 35:5 NLT) Blow them away like chaff in the wind a wind sent by the angel of the LORD. (Psalms 35:6 NLT) Make their path dark and slippery, with the angel of the LORD pursuing them. (Psalms 35:7 NLT) I did them no wrong, but they laid a trap for me. I did them no wrong, but they dug a pit to catch me. (Psalms 35:8 NLT) So let sudden ruin come upon them! Let them be caught in the trap they set for me! Let them be destroyed in the pit they dug for me. (Psalms 35:9 NLT) Then I will rejoice in the LORD. I will be glad because He rescues me. (Psalms 71:24 BBE) My tongue will be talking of your righteousness all the day; for those whose purpose is to do me evil have been crushed and put to shame. 17

Lord, I ask You to protect our Law Enforcement Officers from traps that are laid out for them by evil and violent people, and also from the evil one the devil. And, I thank You for delivering them from all traps and pitfalls that are aimed at them. I thank You for the Shield of Faith that stops ALL flaming missiles that are sent by the enemy (that You promised us in Your Word in Psalm 91). I declare for ALL of our Law Enforcement Officers, by standing in the gap for them, that they are protected from all of the fiery darts sent by the evil one. (2 Samuel 7:10 BBE) And I will make a resting-place for my people Israel, planting them there, so that they may be living in the place which is theirs, and never again be moved; and never again will they be troubled by evil men as they were at the first, (2 Samuel 7:11 BBE) From the time when I put judges over my people Israel; and I will give you peace from all who are against you. And the Lord says to you that he will make you the head of a line of kings. (2 Samuel 22:48 ASV) Even the God that executeth vengeance for me, And that bringeth down peoples under me, (2 Samuel 22:49 ASV) And that bringeth me forth from mine enemies: Yea, thou liftest me up above them that rise up against me; Thou deliverest me from the violent man. (2 Samuel 22:50 ASV) Therefore I will give thanks unto thee, O Jehovah, among the nations, And will sing praises unto thy name. (2 Samuel 22:51 ASV) Great deliverance giveth he to his king, And showeth lovingkindness to his anointed, To David and to his seed, for evermore. (Psalms 89:22 AMP) The enemy shall not exact from him or do him violence or outwit him, nor shall the wicked afflict and humble him. Father God, we know this verse is talking about Jesus, your firstborn son. But, what belongs to Him also belongs to us, your adopted children, and we have joint-heir status with Jesus, according to Ephesians 2:5-10 which says (Ephesians 2:5 AMP) Even when we were dead (slain) by [our own] shortcomings and trespasses, He made us alive together in fellowship and in union with Christ; [He gave us the very life of Christ Himself, the same new life with which He quickened Him, for] it is by grace (His favor and mercy which you did not deserve) that you are saved (delivered from judgment and made partakers of Christ's salvation). 18

(Ephesians 2:6 NLT) For He raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:7 Webster) That in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in his kindness towards us, through Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:8 GNB) For it is by God's grace that you have been saved through faith. It is not the result of your own efforts, but God's gift, so that no one can boast about it. (Ephesians 2:10 AMP) For we are God's [own] handiwork (His workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined (planned beforehand) for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live]. so Father God, we claim Your Word on this for the Law Enforcement Officers that we pray for today. And, we thank you for their protection from the violent, evil men and women that they may face today. Thank you for protecting them and saving them with Your great power. (Psalms 18:1-3 Webster) To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, the servant of the LORD, who spoke to the LORD the words of this song in the day that the LORD delivered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul: And he said, I will love thee, O LORD, my strength. (2) The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. (3) I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from my enemies. (Psalms 18:2 AMP) The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. - Rock means defense, safety, protection, strength, asylum, firmness. - Fortress means stronghold, fort, citadel, sanctuary, fortification, bastion, support, defender, upholder, supporter, mainstay, garrison, defense force, occupying force, retreat, castle, tower, and battlement. - Deliver means set free, release, rescue, save, liberate, free, let loose, recover, revive, and unshackle - Keen means eager, enthusiastic, intense, dedicated, devoted, wholehearted, zealous, earnest, strong, acute, clear, perceptive, and well developed - Firm means solid, rigid, hard, unyielding, definite, fixed, certain, determined, unchangeable, positive, secure, stable, steady, strong, safe 19

- Strength means power, force, might, strong point, forte, depth, potency, intensity - Shield means protect, guard, defend, shelter, screen, safeguard, armor, defense, buffer, protection - Horn of salvation is talking about Christ, a strong Savior, a salvation of strength, a mighty and valiant Helper, the Author of salvation (Luke 1:69, Amplified) - Salvation means deliverance, rescue, recovery, escape, release, assistance, aid, help, reinforcement, support, freedom, liberty, set free - High Tower means a cliff, lofty place, inaccessible place, refuge, high fort, defense, altitude - Buckler is a shield, a piece of armor that caused arrows to glance off, to support, to defend (Luke 1:68 AMP) Blessed (praised and extolled and thanked) be the Lord, the God of Israel, because He has come and brought deliverance and redemption to His people! (Luke 1:69 AMP) And He has raised up a Horn of salvation [a mighty and valiant Helper, the Author of salvation] for us in the house of David His servant (Luke 1:69 WNT) And has raised up a mighty Deliverer for us In the house of David His servant-- (Luke 1:70 WNT) As He has spoken from all time by the lips of His holy Prophets-- (Luke 1:71 CEV) To save us from our enemies and from everyone who hates us. (Luke 1:72 Webster) To perform the mercy promised to our fathers, and to remember his holy covenant: (Luke 1:73 Webster) The oath which he swore to our father Abraham, (Luke 1:74 KJV) That he would grant unto us, that we being delivered out of the hand of our enemies might serve him without fear, (Luke 1:75 GNB) So that we might be holy and righteous before him all the days of our life. 20

Case Scenario: The Case Scenario has been included to show each Intercessor how important it is to pray for our Law Enforcement Officers. Through this short clip we can see how God s Word spoken in prayer and authority can change the lives and situations of our Law Enforcement officers and the people they are in contact with. IT IS WRITTEN (Daniel 6:22 AMP) My God has sent His angel and has shut the lions' mouths so that they have not hurt me, because I was found innocent and blameless before Him; and also before you, O king, [as you very well know] I have done no harm or wrong (Daniel 6:23 AMP) Then the king was exceedingly glad and commanded that Daniel should be taken up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no hurt of any kind was found on him because he believed in (relied on, adhered to, and trusted in) his God. Case Scenario #1 Officer Parks Dangerous Encounter with a Car (WITHOUT PRAYER COVERAGE) Officer Parks had just stepped up to the window of the car that he pulled over when the driver of another car going the same direction did not follow the law by stopping, slowing down, or moving over into the other lane. That person s car was so close to Officer Parks that the mirror clipped Officer Parks utility belt which caused major back pain for Officer Parks for a considerable amount of time. Officer Parks stated that any time (since that day), he would stop what he was doing and go after the driver of a vehicle that was in that lane and take them to jail, because many Law Enforcement Officers have died by being hit by motorists who weren t obeying the traffic laws regarding officers on the sides of the roads. 21

(WITH PRAYER COVERAGE) See how this could have been a completely different situation if someone had been covering this officer in intercessory prayer, speaking related scriptures, confessions, and prayers over him and his police unit. Without knowing why, Officer Parks felt different today. Something was going on but, he couldn t put his finger on what it was. What he didn t know was that prayer intercessors were praying for him and his fellow officers in his area. They were speaking scriptures of protection over him and his unit like Psalm 91, Luke 1:68-75, and many other scriptures. The Intercessors were also lifting the officers up to the Lord asking for protection and deliverance from all the dangers of their jobs as Law Enforcement Officers. Officer Parks had just stepped up to the window of the car that he pulled over, when the driver of another car going the same direction did not follow the law by stopping, slowing down, or moving over into the other lane. Immediately, without being able to see why, that person s car just stopped before it hit him. Just like that! In the natural this is impossible to just come to a complete stop that quick. But, in the supernatural, there were angels protecting Officer Parks from all harm in this case the car that failed to pull over or stop. Instead of being hit or clipped by the mirror of the car, Officer Parks was protected and delivered from all harm. Officer Parks then pointed for the car to proceed slowly to the front of the other car until he could get to them and give them a warning regarding their failure to move over. Can you see why it is important to speak scriptures, confessions and prayer over all of our Law Enforcement Officers? Note: This case scenario s Without Prayer Coverage story is true, and the name of the officer has been changed to protect his identity. TIP: If you ever find yourself in a situation where a Law Enforcement officer has pulled someone over and there isn t enough room to pull into the other lane, then the best thing to do is to slow down and pull over onto the side of the road until either the lanes are clear enough to move over into traffic, or until the officer finishes and moves on. Then you can safely pull back into the traffic. 22
