1 ~ Week of 12/27/2015 ~ May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope, encourage your hearts and strengthen you in every good deed and word. 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 ~ Week of 12/20/2015 ~ Shout for joy, O heavens; rejoice, O earth; burst into song, O mountains! For the Lord comforts his people and will have compassion on his afflicted ones. Isaiah 49:13 ~ Week of 12/13/2015 ~ 2 O Lord, be gracious to us; we long for you. 3 Be our strength every morning, our salvation in time of distress. Isaiah 33:2 ~ Week of 12/6/2015 ~ 28 Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God,

2 the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom 29 He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak. 30 Even youths grow tired and weary, and young men stumble and fall; 31 but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. 6 ~ Week of 8/30/15 ~ I love you, O Lord, my strength. 2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. 3 I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies. Psalm 18:1-3 ~ Week of 8/23/15 ~ 1 My soul finds rest in God alone; my salvation comes from him. 2 He alone is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will never be shaken. Psalm 62:1-2 ~ Week of 8/16/15 ~ 8 Three times I pleaded with the Lord to take it away from me. 9 But he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10 ~ Week of 8/8/15 ~ Give thanks to the Lord, call on his name; make known among the nations what he has done. 9 Sing to him, sing praise to him; tell of all his wonderful acts. 10 Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice.

7 11 Look to the Lord and his strength; seek his face always. 1 Chronicles 16:8-11 ~ Week of 8/2/15 ~ 6 Many are asking, "Who can show us any good?" Let the light of your face shine upon us, O Lord. 7 You have filled my heart with greater joy then when their grain and new wine abound. 8 I will lie down and sleep in peace, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety. Psalm 4:6-8 ~ Week of 7/26/15 ~ Now faith is being sure of wht we hope for and certain of what we do not see. Hebrews 11:1 ~ Week of 7/19/15 ~ 23 Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people. 24 News about him spread all over Syria, and people brought to him all who were ill with various diseases, those suffering severe pain, the demon-possessed, those having seizures, and the paralyzed, and he healed them. Psalm 27:1-5 ~ Week of 7/5/15 ~ 28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble, and he brought them out of their distress. 29 He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed. 30 They were glad when it grew calm, and he guided them to their desired haven. 31 Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for men.

Psalm 130:1-2 ~ Week of 6/21/15 ~ 29 You are my lamp, O Lord; the Lord turns my darkness into light. 30 With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. 31 "As for God, his way is perfect; the word of the Lord is flawless. He is a shield for all who take refuge in him. 32 For who is God besides the Lord? 10 17 He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters. 18 He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from my foes, who were too strong for me. 19 They confronted me in the day of my disaster, but the Lord was my support. 20 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me. 2 Samuel 22:17-20 ~ Week of 6/7/15 ~ 2 He said: The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; 3 my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation. He is my stronghold, my refuge and my savior from violent men you save me. 4 I call to the Lord, who is worthy of praise, and have been saved from my enemies. 5 The waves of death swirled about me; the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me. 6 The cords of the grave coiled around me; the snares of death confronted me. 7 In my distress I called to the Lord; I called out to my God. 11 ~ Week of 5/31/15 ~ By faith in the name of Jesus, this man whom you see and know was made strong. It is Jesus' name and the faith that comes through him that has given this complete healing to him, as you can see. Acts 3:16 ~ Week of 5/24/15 ~ The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me besides the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake. 4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me. Psalm 23:1-4 ~ Week of 5/17/15 ~ 76 May your unfailing love be my comfort, according to your promise to your servant. 77 Let your compassion come to me that I may live, for your law is my delight. 12 ~ Week of 5/10/15 ~ For I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you. Isaiah 41:13 ~ Week of 5/3/15 ~ The salvation of the righteous comes from the Lord; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. 40 The Lord helps them and delivers them Psalm 37:39-40a ~ Week of 4/26/15 ~ Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Psalm 27:14 ~ Week of 4/19/15 ~ Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Matthew 11:28 (Jesus speaking) ~ Week of 4/12/15 ~ and the ransomed of the Lord will return. They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away. Isaiah 35:10

13 ~ Week of 4/5/15 ~ We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God. 21 God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. 2 Corinthians 5:20b-21 ~ Week of 3/29/15 ~ When he came down from the mountainside, large crowds followed him. A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, "Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean." Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. "I am willing," he said. "Be clean!" Immediately he was cured of his leprosy. Psalm 89:14-16 ~ Week of 3/8/15 ~ If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, 10 even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. 11 If I say, Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me, 12 even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. Psalm 139:9-12 ~ Week of 3/1/15 ~ 11 Now on his way to Jerusalem, Jesus traveled along the border between Samaria and Galilee. 12 As he was going into a village, ten men who had leprosy met him. They stood at a distance 13 and called out in a loud voice, Jesus, Master, have pity on us! 14 When he saw them, he said, Go, show yourselves to the priests. And as they went, they were cleansed. 15 One of them, when he saw he was healed, came back, praising God in a loud voice. 16 He threw himself at Jesus feet and thanked him and he was a Samaritan. Luke 17:11-16 ~ Week of 2/22/15 ~ You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you.

15 4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4 ~ Week of 2/15/15 ~ 18 Even when I am old and gray, do not forsake me, O God, till I declare your power to the next generation, your might to all who are to come. 19 Your righteousness reaches to the skies, O God, you who have done great things. Who, O God, is like you? 20 Though you have made me see troubles, many and bitter, you will restore my life again; from the depths of the earth you will again bring me up. Psalm 71:18-20 ~ Week of 2/8/15 ~ 14 But as for me, I will always have hope; I will praise you more and more. 15 My mouth will tell of your righteousness, of your salvation all day long, though I know not its measure. 16 I will come and proclaim your mighty acts, O Sovereign Lord; I will proclaim your righteousness, yours alone. 17 Since my youth, O God, you have taught me, and to this day I declare your marvelous deeds. Psalm 71:14-17

16 ~ Week of 2/1/15 ~ 4 But may all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you; may those who love your salvation always say, "Let God be exalted!" 5 Yet I am poor and needy; come quickly to me, O God. You are my help and my deliverer; O Lord, do not delay. Psalm 70:4-5 ~ Week of 1/25/15 ~ 4 May he give you the desire of your heart and make all your plans succeed. 5 We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the Lord grant all your requests. 7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God. Psalm 20:4-5, 7 ~ Week of 1/18/15 ~ 1 May God be gracious to us and bless us and make his face shine upon us, 2 that your ways may be know on earth, your salvation among all nations. 3 May the peoples praise you, O God; may all the peoples praise you.

17 Psalm 67:1-3 ~ Week of 1/11/15 ~ But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. O my Strength, I sing praise to you; you, O God, are my fortress, my loving God. Psalm 59:16-17 ~ Week of 1/4/15 ~ 22 Because of this oath, Jesus has become the guarantee of a better covenant. 23 Now there have been many of those priests, since death prevented them from continuing in office; 24 but because Jesus lives forever, he has a permanent priesthood. 25 Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them. Hebrews 7:22-25
