ELIZABETH CENTER When ohn arrived at homeless shelter, he felt this was end this is where he would spend his life. Two months later, ohn was workg his own apartment thanks Catholic Charities. If it weren t for shelter, I don t know where I would be right now, says ohn, who had been dealg with personal issues was bouncg from place place with no secure residence stay. Catholic Charities gave me confidence that I could get back on my feet. They showed me that I wasn t worthless. They gave me hope back. The goal of St. Elizabeth Center Lora County is improve quality of life provide safe housg. The Center, which opened fall 2017, serves homeless men its overnight shelter also provides meals social services men, women, children who are vulnerable.
