The word is near you, on your lips your heart (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); because if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord believe your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For one believes with the heart so is justified, one confesses with the mouth so is saved. The scripture says, No one who believes him will be put to shame. For there is no distction between Jew Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all is generous to all who call on him. For, Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. But how are they to call on one whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe one of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone to proclaim him? 7 All rise as able. the nicene creed We believe one God, the Father, the Almighty, maker of heaven earth, of all that is, seen unseen. We believe one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, of one Beg with the Father; through him all thgs were made. For us for our salvation he came down from heaven, was carnate of the Holy Spirit the Virg Mary became truly human. For our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death was buried. On the third day he rose aga accordance with the Scriptures; he ascended to heaven is seated at the right h of the Father. 10 10 Presider Glory honor praise to you, holy livg God. To deliver us from the power of s death to reveal the riches of your grace, you looked with favor upon Mary, your willg servant, that she might conceive bear a son, Jesus the holy child of God. Livg among us, Jesus loved us. He broke bread with outcasts sners, healed the sick, proclaimed good news to the poor. He yearned to draw all the world to himself yet we were heedless of his call to walk love. Then, the time came for him to complete upon the cross the sacrifice of his life, to be glorified by you. On the night before he died for us, Jesus was at table with his friends. He took bread, gave thanks to you, broke it, gave it to them, said: Take, eat: This is my Body, which is given for you. Do this for the remembrance of me. As supper was endg, Jesus took the cup of we. Aga, he gave thanks to you, gave it to them, said: Drk this, all of you: This is my Blood of the new Covenant, which is poured out for you for all for the forgiveness of ss.
