We encourage each other to discover and care for the gifts God has provided us as we share them in service to each other and future generations to come. 2 SPREADING THE FIRE There will be a CEC one day retreat on February 11th at Columbus High School, on 3434 Discoverer Drive, to rekindle the fire we received on our week-end. The event will be from 12:00 noon to approximately 8:00pm. There will be four talks,, Adoration and dinner. As of now there is no one to lead the St. Isidores group. Christian Mothers does very valuable work for our church. WE NEED YOU! As women, we try to be it all, do it all, and make it work for everyone in our lives. We tend to hold ourselves to impossible standards and judge ourselves based on all we are not, yet think we should be. This retreat is for women of all ages and will include presentations on prayer, guided meditation, shared reflection and opportunity for the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Buffet style dinner will be served from 5:15-7:00pm in the Scotus cafeteria. The concert will begin a 7:00pm in the Activity Center and will feature music from musicals. We are a non-profit organization that helps women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. Volunteers help clients receive practical needs such as clothing, diapers, etc. Our hours are 3-5pm Monday through Thursday.
